Decided to head to Snuffers because I did not want a fast food cookie cutter burger this time. I wanted a burger that was basically custom made and I was not disappointed. The food was very flavorful and delicious. The wait staff were very attentive and nice. I ordered a classic burger with cheese fries(first time trying) and a Soda. Burger was outstanding and met my expectations. The cheese fries were good, however, they could have been very good if the amount of cheese was proportionate to the amount of fries and condiments such as bacon bits chives and jalapeño you have to pay extra for which was 1.99. The soda was flat, however, that issue was corrected immediately. In conclusion this was a very good meal, a little pricey and I do think you do not need to pay 1.99 for the additional condiments and I will definitely be dining there again.

Smaller and more intimate than the Snuffer’s I’ve visited in Dallas, Addison, and Rockwall, but same great burgers and devil — er… Cheddar Fries! Everything was hot and waitstaff was very attentive.

They’re really good when they open. But honestly the burgers became dry the buns became still. They have to get their kitchen straight for me to come back

We like the food here but I think some improvements could be made. Usually takes 30plus minutes to get your food. Tonight I had a bigger and onion fries which were cold unfortunately. The people next to us received their order and one of the plates of food were wrong. Please up your game!!!

Fries and burgers are pretty good, I thought the service was above average. I would go back again!

Always mess up orders! Very slow last time I will go! The one on Greenville is much better. To top my experience off I ask for a much needed refill and he brings back check no drink!

Absolutely delicious! Love this Snuffer’s. I always get a hamburger and cheese fries and they are always done perfectly. Oh, and they have really great lunch specials too. Be sure and check out the specials board before you order if you come for lunch.

Not a fan of the Red Oak location. Tried a couple of times with the same results — cold cheese fries. Yuck. Slow service each time. I’ll take that time to go to the Rockwall location. Very disappointed.

Food is less than desirable. They apparently don’t change the oil in deep fryers that often or not only have one fryer. My fries tasted like fish. Staff is friendly but somewhat inattentive. Sat at bar top for 10 – 15 minutes with no one attending. I am willing to give them another chance to improve, if they actually read these reviews.

I had been hoping to have an opportunity to check out Snuffer’s Red Oak. There’s alot of competition in the metroplex burger market now; but it wasn’t the case when I moved here 35 years ago and Snuffer’s on Greenville Avenue consistently had one of the best burgers around. Snuffer’s is a franchise now; but hoping for a return to the past, I ordered a Blue Cheese Bacon Burger with Sweet Potato fries. My medium rare burger came to me medium well at best. I waited awhile; but couldn’t get a visual on my very nice server; so I started eating anyway. A mistake; but hunger won. It had a good bun and toppings; but the meat was underseasoned and dry. Halfway through, I was able to touch base with my server and then a manager. The end result: my husband was the recipient(he said) of a perfect to go medium rare burger when he came home later. Me: disappointed with limp oily barely seasoned fries and an old burger house friend that shouldn’t be getting it wrong. Good service. Good manager service recovery. I’ll be back again because I really would like to see them succeed and hope to find better food.

Just had a really bad experience. Waited for almost an hour and my food still wasn’t out. A table across from us walked in about 15 minutes after us and had their food for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. The waitress was nice and apologetic but I still didn’t get what I ordered so we paid for our drinks and fries and left. I seriously doubt I will ever go back or recommend this Snuffers to anyone.

Glad there’s a fresh new place to eat in Red Oak. I love the atmosphere here and the food is awesome. The drinks are good if you get the right bartender.

I have been a fan of Snuffers on Greenville Ave for a long time, but the service has always been slow, and I don’t often drive that far for dining out. I was happy to see the new one in Red Oak which is so much closer to home. So I stopped in and had dinner with a friend tonight. They were pretty busy for a Monday evening but everyone from the front door, to the waitress, and then the manager who stopped by to welcome us and ask how our meal was, were friendly and gracious. This is not the usual punctual greeting you get, but very friendly, kind of like– hey– they were really glad we were there. What a concept! The food was just right, and served really fast. The place was clean, and the atmosphere nice for dining out. Music was at a good level so conversation was still possible. No complaints. I would recommend this Snuffers location to my friends.

We left Waxahachie to go to another restaurant, I’m Red Oak, but they were OOB. So thought we would try Snuffers, a small chain but fairly new in Red Oak. Four of us dining– 2 chicken fried steak, one original chip sandwich. Steak was about as bad as I have had. Tough and breading fell off as soon as you attempted to cut a piece. Waiter evidently forgot my wife’s sandwich as it never did come. GM was apologetic, but the evening was already very disappointing. Maybe we should have ordered the hamburgers, their specialty, ad they looked pretty good. Doubtful we will try this place again with all the other restaurants around the area.

I was at SMU when they opened the original Snuffer’s on Greenville Avenue. I was excited to see that they have opened a restaurant close south of Dallas. The bacon avocado cheese burger was phenomenal. The bartender made me a delicious mud slide for dessert with delicious chocolate ice cream. Get the cheese fries. It was very affordable.

Came here on a Saturday evening and it was packed! We still had fantastic service even though it seemed chaotic. I see why it’s popular because the fries are delicious. The person with me ordered a jalapeño burger and enjoyed it. I ordered a chicken wrap and was really disappointed. I’ve had better wraps at chick-fil-a. This isn’t a place for a non-beef eater.

I’m so happy Snuffer’s recently opened in Red Oak. The quality and variety of the burgers are the same as other Snuffer’s locations. My favorite is the guacamole burger. Of course, their famous cheese fries are great. What I like about this location is the bar set up. Lots and lots of televisions for sports watching, cold, cold beer and good service. Parking is easy due to the large surface lot outside. Prices are good in regard to what you get.
