As the only grocery in Red River its well stocked (at least on our visits) and has good variety. Prices are high but consider where you’re at and how far they have to truck in the groceries. Only thing I could not find was steak but they do have chicken and some pork. Good selection of beer and wines.

Nice LITTLE grocery store. Nice variety of items. Carries about everything EXCEPT gluten free foods. Kinda pricey but it’s the only thing available unless you want to drive over 10 miles. We’ve shopped here both times we’ve visited Red River.

I love this place! Just like the old grocers when I was a wee one! It’s amazing how much they carry in that small space. Even the meats are really good! And the service is perfect, down home and good!

Has what you need when you need it… if you’ve come to ski and forgot something get it there… just dont complain about the high prices because you forgot something…

Having lived in the area for several months, now, I’ve gotten a chance to explore the many different options for grocery stores. Der Markt is still my last choice for groceries. The produce section is bad. The products are overpriced. They are almost always out of bread. It’s little more than an oversized and extremely expensive convenience store. Locals barely shop there because the prices are ridiculously high, and the most business comes from tourists. Only shop here if you’re desperate or can’t get to Angel Fire, Questa, or Taos.

Open through the entire week. Depending on the day, shelves may be wiped out. The day we bought food for the week, the produce needed to be thrown out and half the meat had green spots on it. The next day we went in, the shelves were full and some fresh produce was in stock. A little more pricey than at home, but that’s to be expected in a mountainous tourist town.

Dallas, TX
Very pricey ($ 6.48 for a box of Frosted Flakes), was out of a lot of types of bread, fruit selection was poor, and the bread we got (some kind of store brand) was strangely moist and almost chewy. Only use this place if you have no alternative.

One of the few stores open until 9pm…
Has most items you need including frozen foods, snacks, candy, alcohol, plates etc etc.
Red River needs more tourists and more stores to be open later.
