OMG! We just left the Lift House at 5:30 on a Sunday evening in June after paying $ 8.50 for a glass of wine. Walked across the street, ordered a half carafe for $ 10 with the sound of the river running beneath us, looking at the same view, and know for certain we will never go to the Lift House again. What are they thinking? 8.50 a glass might work in the winter but most definitely not in the summer. Go across the street to Capo’s.

Beautiful place with a great deck. Nice place to hang out and have a beer and watch the Texans attempt to ski. Always entertaining! But the service is terrible. Had to wait in line at the bar to order food. No wait staff waiting on tables. And they complained when I asked if our order of a salmon salad could be split into two bowls. Salad was really good though. They have a decent beer selection on tap, but not a single beer from New Mexico on tap. We have many awesome breweries in NM! Santa Fe, Marble, La Cumbre, and more. I think they should support breweries in our state.

Stopped by the lift house for drinks on New Years Eve while waiting for the torch parade and fireworks. Most of the bar staff was friendly. They were extremely packed. You could tell there lots of people just wait I g the the festivities to start. Drinks were reasonably priced. They will allow you to start a tab which was nice. The only reason for giving this place 3 stars is the lack of communication on food choices. To be perfect honest I don’t even I ow if they serve food. There were no waitresses, no menus. I did see someone order chips and salsa from the bartender but that’s it. I saw reviews that food is served so I’m just confused.

Currently closed… so sad because this is a great place to grab a bite or a drink and watch skiers come down the Face.

This place is great. You can sit and watch skiers and snowboarders come down the mountain while drinking a frosty brew. The skiers will often hour dog it down the face of the mountain and you can applaud those that do good. Food was pretty good. You will get mountain taxed. But who cares you are on a ski vacation.

Convienently located next to our hotel. Had lunch and dinner there. Pub grub and nothing special… not bad either. Great view of The Face and good place to hang out for a cold beverage after a day on the slopes

If you don’t mind being pushed through a line to order, then this is your place! My husband and I stopped here after a few runs to grab a bite to eat. The restaurant was crowded and the only place to order was at the bar. After finally getting out hands on a menu, we made out selections and proceeded to order. Come to find out that chicken breast is only sometimes available so that limited our choices. For some reason or another, they did have chicken tenders so I had the tenders and fries and my husband had the buffalo chicken tender sandwich with tortilla chips(odd pairing if you ask me, but it was $ 1 more for fries). We scoured the place to find a place to sit and ended up at the end of a table, leaving room for other people to sit later. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. My chicken tenders came with a side of ranch dressing which tasted like it was squeezed from a bottle(yuck!) and my meal overall was bland. Eating chicken tenders without honey mustard is not ideal. My husband found his sandwich to be mediocre, but we both left the restaurant feeling like we just ate a meal from a school cafeteria. Not impressed. Although the location is nice, the food is nothing to write home about. Pass.

Excellent place to sit and watch the experts glide down The Face and the amateurs tumble down. Extremely friendly staff and fast service. Found the price of the beverages moderately priced and the tasty hot wings decently priced. Wasn’t terribly busy in the middle to end of the week and kid friendly until the lifts close.

Awesome view of The Face and the Platinum Chair. Snag a window seat if available. When the mountain is crowded, the Lift House is usually always crowded. They have a great beer selection. Their food is not too bad. While we were here we tried the frito pie, the Philly cheesesteak, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and a hamburger. This has always been the place to eat and drink a beer before going back out on the slopes. You order at the bar and they call your name when its ready.

Ate lunch here between runs. Food was good. We had cheesesteaks, onion rings and brews. Staff was friendly and food came out quick. Could some some bar help — it took a while to get drinks when the place was about half full.

The Lift House stands proud at the bottom of The Face and has for many years. I’ve came to the Lift House to watch the torchlight at night lots of times and recently had my first experience eating there. We grabbed some nachos and cheesesticks after a morning of skiing. The beef nachos were really underwhelming… The meat didn’t have much flavor and I had to specifically ask for salsa because I guess it normally doesn’t come with it. I expected the mozarella sticks to come with marinara sauce but they came with ranch instead. While they weren’t awful, they were pretty thin and not a great dish to be shared between four people. However like most places in Red, you can’t come expecting good food. The Lift House is a great place to grab a drink and hang out with friends during the day or night. Sometimes they’ll bring in music to really liven things up, making it one of the best spots in town!
