While our trail guide was a very nice young man, we felt the horses were not well cared for. It was a summer weekend, and many horses(20 or more), were just tethered very closely together for hours — all saddled up, even though there was no one there to ride them yet. There was no space for the horses to have any room. They were in a small area between two highways. I felt that my horse and the other horses in our group were depressed. They had no energy, no connection, and seemed to have lost their spirit. They had obviously been trained to go nose to tail with with other in a line and were even trained to «obediently» go back into their place in the huddle as soon as we returned. I would not recommend this place because of the way the horses are«broken».

They put us with about 30 other beginner riders. They made no effort to keep children near their parents. They had my 7 year old 25 horses ahead of me, which is unacceptable. My sons horse then took off with him, running all over a busy road. My son reins were yanked from his hands while riding this poorly trained horse and he had even less control. Wrangler Alan did nothing to help me catch my sons loose horse. Me and other nice customers had to use our horses to catch him. I finally demanded they give me a lead rope and caught my son. Good thing I knew how to ride to save him. My horse was not well trained either. He just did fast spins, rodeo time for me. At least my horse helped me rescue my son. This company never told us we would ride with a group of 35 strangers, they seemed all about money and not about safety. This was the worst trail riding place ever! Alan then told me my son was on their best horse, I told him he had some serious problems then. Another wrangler said that horse was known for taking off!
