Pella Ted Inc

Ted Pella is a solid vendor of electron microscopy parts and supplies. I have been dealing with them for a couple of years on a continuous basis and they have proven to be a reliable provider, with good customer service.
They will also work with you if there are issues with a product and help find a solution if there is a problem. The staff is knowledgeable, although not omniscient… if you happen to have a question about an item, they will be happy to inquire with their vendors and get an answer.
Overall, TP is as good or better than EMS in product quality and variety, as well as customer service.

Ted Pella Inc is dishonest with a service below zero selling microscopy product through a website that is not intuitive.
They made mistakes in my order and I had to fight quite hard to make it right, it took over four months to receive my full purchase and I still doubt that my stage micrometer has seriously been calibrated. They sent a regular one first ($ 175 instead of $ 1300), were very not pleased that I noticed it and sent me a new one where the NPL sticker is on the box but not the slide.
One day, I got a dutch guy on the phone who was claiming he was the boss. For two hours, he had been unhelpful, arrogant and at the end extremely rude. If he had a good laugh at the time, I certainly didn’t.
So, my recommendation: if you can buy your goods somewhere else, do it! EMS is certainly more competent than them.
