Needed to get the truck smogged and it couldn’t have been easier. On top of being quick and friendly, the mechanic answered any questions we had about the process and what to do now that we had passed smog.
On top of all of that it costs about a dollar less than most places in town (we showed them!) which was just a nice benefit on top of it all.

My first ever smog check as I’ve never registered a car in CA before.
I have to say, the place is not particularly inviting. Sort of run down and messy. But don’t be afraid! The guy working here was really nice. He was very helpful and gave me some money saving registration tips.
He said it would take 15 minutes but I came back in less than 10 and it was already done. My ’09 Subaru passed the test and I was outta there with my certificate which was accepted by the DMV.
They are also STAR certified. I have no idea what that actually means, but I figure may as well go to the certified place.
Very convenient, I didn’t call until 4pm, but they said come on down in 20 minutes and when I arrived there was no one else there so I went right in. Pull up to the garage door that says «SMOG CHECK $ 29.99.» It was actually $ 38, which I’m guessing was due to tax or something.

Quick, Easy and Painless. Called that morning and was able to do a walk in (technically it’s a drive in but hey). Got my smog done for a reasonable price and now I get to give more money to the state for my renewal on my almost 20 year old car — Yea! (insert sarcastic tone). If you don’t want to hang around there’s a 7 – 11 across the street with slurpees.

I called and was able to make an appointment for about an hour and a half out from when I called. I showed up and was in and out with my smog certificate in about 5 – 10 minutes with a total of $ 38 and some change. Quick and professional!
