Capitol Park

I’ve hung out at this park a few times with my daughter and the women we know from a mom’s group. It works great for meetings like this. There’s a splash pad, a pavilion, picnic tables and across the parking lot, a play ground.
While I’ve only been there on weekday mornings, there hasn’t been a big crowd, but it isn’t deserted either. It was easy to follow my toddler daughter around the brick paved walkways and still not be far from the food and conversation with our group.
I also saw a woman setting up for a child’s birthday party there one day. I think that was a great idea! There are several different activities for the kids, and a nice central area for everyone to meet up.
