Sophie’s Delights

My friends and I recently hired Chef Sophie as our private chef for a 4 day getaway in Big Bear, and we have nothing but great things to say about her. First of all, she was the only chef (of about 7) I called who picked up the phone right away — a huge plus in my book. Not only is Sophie a professional and genuinely lovely person, everything she cooked was absolutely delicious (and she cooked a lot!). Most of us had special dietary requirements, to which Sophie catered without a problem. We also like things in abundance, and she happily accommodated all requests (even if it meant preparing a different dish for every person). A special mention goes to Sophie’s chocolate on chocolate on chocolate cake, which was the best any of us have ever tasted. I really recommend Chef Sophie for any event, and will definitely be hiring her again in the future.

Professionalism: Sophie is very prompt, accommodating, and willing! Food display and presentation is on point!
Food: everything, and I mean everything I’ve tasted by SD has been amazing. She catered my son’s birthday party with a Mexican/​taco bar. It was a hit. The vegetarian meat was so well done, meat eaters were digging in. That’s the best part, she can cook to everyone’s liking and dietary needs.
Pricing: SD can work with any budget. Budget does not affect flavor, just quantity. I recommend SD for all of your culinary needs.
