I’ve lived here for almost a year. I have had no complaints what so ever until they have recently raised my rent for $ 90. I will now be paying $ 1,250.00 including my water bill. Management told me it was market value. Considering I have mold living in window since I’ve lived here. Gates are ALWAYS broken. I’ve had kids playing around my window and looking into my apartment. We have had a lot of lil problems, which wasn’t a big deal to us considering we weren’t paying a lot. But since the raise it just upsets me so much. I don’t think market value comes with all this. Edith is very sweet, and has always been nice. But the new girl in the office(don’t know her name.) Gets rude, and doesn’t answer questions correctly. Or says she’s not too sure. So if you want to live in over priced apartments. Tesoro is the place to be! Apartment 1301

These apartment homes are terribly managed. The staff is inconsistent, incompetent, and slow. The pool, gym, and laundry facilities are often closed with no explanation or notice; the staff takes entirely too long to address complaints and issues; and on many occasions, I have found the office to be closed early, or for long periods of time throughout the day. Some bad experiences my fiancé and I have had: One time, my fiancé and I were locked inside the pool at 9:30 p.m., when the pool doesn’t even close until 10. The staff member never scoped the pool area before locking the gate; this was complete laziness on his/her behalf. My fiancé and I had to climb the gate to get out. Another incident was that our air conditioner wouldn’t turn off, which caused some AC components to freeze and some components to leak. Also, the constant AC was piling costs into the power bill. Furthermore, the air wasn’t even coming out of the vents, so the apartment never cooled down. The management waited four days to address our issue; this was only after I went into the office with an attitude. Yet another problem we faced was that the staff lost their copy of the key to our apartment, which is pretty unsettling. One more issue was that a power bill posted during a time before our move-in date was charged to our account. We were told that we had to pay the bill before the problem could be fixed. After paying, the staff took well over a month to BEGIN to resolve the power bill issue. Additionally, we kept getting notices that we had an unpaid bill AFTER we had paid. Apparently, this was due to the management’s lack of record keeping. Lastly, our apartment was not ready for move-in on our move-in date. Contractors were still painting the walls and staff members were still finishing some final details when we arrived to move in. We should have seen this as a sign of things to come.

I posted a review for this apartment complex back in August. Someone from the apartments replied with contact information to discuss my review. I came back on this site and my review is no longer on here. Why are reviews taken down? How do I get in touch with the woman who reached out to me?

My boyfriend and I visited about 20 – 30 apartment communities throughout the IE. When we walked into Tesoro, we were greeted by Astrid and she treated us better than any other person we came across. The community felt welcoming, inviting and taken care of. Although Astrid had her hands full and looked quite busy, she took the time to show us around, explain everything, and made us feel comfortable. It felt like home right away. We went back the next morning ready to sign and apply for our new home. Astrid and Edith were simply amazing!!! We are in the final steps of completing the application process, but should be moving into our new home on May 15th. My boyfriend and I were given excellent service and offered a deal that was unlike anywhere else. Not to mention, the ladies that work here treated us better than anywhere else. We are sooooo excited to be a part of this community and look forward to calling Tesoro home! Thank you so much Astrid and Edith. You ladies are awesome!!! :)
