TJ Maxx

Be careful if you’re African-​American the staff will follow you around and pretend to be working merchandise go back. This incident happened December 26 after 8 PM. It’s just sad they believe all black people are up to no good.

The last TJ Maxx I frequented, I almost always left each time with something, especially men’s shirts for my husband. This place didn’t have much of a selection in terms of clothes. That area I have to give a lower score.
I would come back, but only to cut through to go to the Home Goods area of the store. That area is wonderful. I happily looked at their beddings, cookware, and other kitchen supplies. Definitely stuff I need to come back for.

I went in to do a simple return with a receipt and it turned into a 5 minute transaction with one of the worst cashiers I’ve ever met.
First, Geena took forever to locate the two items on the receipt. She then took the two items and the receipt to the back counter and spoke with several other cashiers in regards to the return. I heard one of the other cashiers ask, are they both on the receipt?“
She finally came back to the counter where I stood puzzled. I asked her what was going on and she said, «I had to process the items.» Ok this is a first for me. I’ve never heard of this or seen this happen. She then scanned the items and the receipt. This to me was actually processing the return.
Ultimately if there was an issue with the return (which there wasn’t) she should have addressed it. Instead she lied and left me there standing there waiting.

TJ MAX and HOME GOODS are in a combined store and I absolutely love it!!! I just wish they had a bit more HOME GOODS stuff. But overall I’m very happy they are finally out here in Highland-​Redlands area… Yaaayyyyy!!! I hope we get more out here so we don’t have to drive all the way out to Rancho Cucamonga for great shops. ;-)

I have never understood why people like Tj Maxx Home Goods. This location is no different then any other one. Its expensive Not my thing. I prefer Marshalls or Rack.
