Recently bought a Windows Phone as a replacement for an old iPhone that was painfully slow. The SIM card that I had was not compatible with the Windows Phone, so I had to go to an AT&T store to get the Micro SIM. The reviews for the AT&T locations nearby are terrible and based on past experiences visiting AT&T stores, quite crowded. Rather than dealing with the masses, I decided to visit the AT&T store location at The Commons on the Microsoft campus. The other major carriers(Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon) also have store locations there FYI. The access to this location is limited to Microsoft employees regardless of badge type and their guests. My thinking was that being situated on the Microsoft campus, I would expect that the process would be much better since Windows Phone was developed here so the employees at this location would be more than capable of handling the issue. My hypothesis turned out to be right. It was a simple process. I explained my situation, showed photo ID and they installed the Micro SIM card on my new phone for me. I was good to go in less than 10 minutes. If you are looking for a phone here, the selection is minimal since it is a small store. They do also offer a selection of cell phone accessories. If you work on the Microsoft campus, I would recommend visiting the AT&T store there instead of the other locations around town if you have a phone or service issue. Try to swing by at an off hour for quicker service.
