By far, not the best Chinese food around. All pretty tasteless, and not very well prepared. Overcooked mushy veggies, and meat dishes contain very little meat. Only thing that is good from this place is the hot and sour soup, skip the rest.

I love the food here, always super filling and always delicious. Most importantly, the staff are really friendly. Today there was a mistake on my delivery order where they accidentally sent me salad instead of fried rice. However, they actually sent someone back to deliver my fried rice, no extra charge. I was really impressed that they did that when I am sure any other place would not have. I would highly recommend these guys for delivery!!!

I usually order delivery. They deliver super quick and the food is also fresh, hot and delicious. My favorites here are orange chicken and crab puffs.

Ordered the Deluxe Won Ton soup, Almond Chicken with fried rice and vegetable rolls while I was sick, so keep in mind that my taste buds may be stunted. The vegetable egg rolls were delicious. They came with soy sauce and I think sweet and sour sauce. Light, crispy, wonderful. The almond chicken came with a lot of sauce on it so if you’re into less sauce maybe ask for it on the side. Large amount of chicken. Moist meat with crispy breading. The fried rice was very plain and bland. It was JUST rice instead of the usual fried rice with green onions and BBQ pork and eggs and such. Next time I’ll get chow mein on the side instead. The won ton soup was the big disappointment. This might be because I’m used to the simple Chan’s Place Won ton soup. The won tons were so loosely wrapped, it was basically mushy noodles with the tiny pork bit floating right out. The onion pieces were HUGE chunks and there were large mushroom pieces which I wish the menu had mentioned. The menu actually gave zero description for what was in the Deluxe Won Ton soup.(Unsettlingly, there was no Regular Won Ton soup on the menu. Why have a deluxe if there’s no regular?) The delivery was right on time, they called me right after I placed my order to confirm when I wanted it delivered, the delivery guy was polite, I’ll probably order from here again. The total was just under $ 20.

We ordered the tofu fried rice and the beef broccoli for delivery. Delicious. Food was hot and delivery was prompt(and the delivery guy was super nice)! 10⁄10 — would order food from them again.

The Good: There is a bit to bring up here. We ordered BBQ Pork, Gyoza(Crispy Dumplings), Fried Prawns, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, House Chow Mein(has chicken, pork, and prawns), Cashew Chicken, Almond Fried Chicken. The food was very good, not greasy, properly cooked, generous portions, fast delivery(accurate too), online ordering, very good value. TLDR: It was how good Chinese food should taste. The Bad: Some of the containers leaked. The Gyoza were not too awesome(they were ok, but not the best). The BBQ pork was served cold(note, you can add notes to the order). The Ponzu sauce for the dumplings was stronger than I am used to(very tangy). The checks your eyes will be writing when you spoon up the noms. The Ugly: The bbq pork was orange! Maybe not an ugly(if you like orange)? When you cash them checks! Conclusion: I have no idea why people are giving poor reviews. This was definitely good enough to replace the other local Chinese Food places in our phone book. The online ordering was super painless, updates the estimated delivery time as you order, and accurate.

I ordered through GrubHub — food was supposed to be delivered in an hour; however, it took almost 2 hours. Granted, it was Saturday night, and when I called(after an hour and a half), the hostess was helpful and called the delivery man to follow up. Food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I don’t particularly plan on going back.

I have to say I am sad to see such poor reviews for the Bamboo Kitchen. I frequent this restaurant for a quick lunch. It isn’t fancy, but neither are the prices. The family that runs the restaurant are all lovely people and the service is always quick and friendly. I like the steamed dumplings and pork eggroll for appetizers. The entrees I usually choose are Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken with Vegetables. The wonton soup is also quite good.

This is the first review I have posted on Unilocal ever, and the reason was because I have never EVER had food poisining as bad as the one that I have received from this place. I ordered some Pad Thai, General Tso chicken and Tofu StirFry. First of all the food was 2 stars in terms of taste. It tastes a little worse than panda express and the vegetables they used in ALL their dishes were those pre-cut frozen pea, carrots, corn, green beans, that are in the size of miniature cubes. The tofu was overcooked and mainly deep-fry with no inside. I was disappointed but the Pad Thai was decent. Later that night I had THEWORST stomach cramp /diarrhea session that lasted for at least 30 minutes. I have never seen myself sweat or get so pale in skin tone. I literally thought I was going to die. The food came out quick and the prices were cheap, but if the quality of the food is worth a quarter of that, it is still not worth it.

Had the mandarin chicken. Was supposed to be crispy but was not. Service is fine. I’ve been here a few years ago and thought I would try it again. Still two stars. With Spicy Talk just down the street there is no reason to come back. Sorry.

The bird I consumed today was either a former drug user or born and grew up next to a nuclear reactor. The wings I ordered were not wings, they were ankles and bland ones at that. This place sucks beyond words; the fried rice was soggy and sad. I told the woman how bad it was and she replied«Thank you». I quickly found out she was fluent in Thank you and it was the response to any customer interaction. Bamboo Kitchen you blow!

First, the good: 1. The folks here are friendly and nice. 2. The food does come out quickly. 3. Prices are low. Now, the bad: The food is poor. There’s just no getting around that. My first time here I had Wor Wanton soup. It was so bad I just paid and left without eating. The usual things you would expect — proteins, wontons’s, and the like, were just not there, and the broth was… gross. It was all noodles(noodles? In wonton?) water chesnuts, celery and other exceptionally low-cost ingredients. Today, several months later, I tried again: I ordered Pot Stickers and Cashew Nut Chicken. * The pot stickers came out deep fried, which isn’t what I was expecting. When I asked if they had real pot-stickers, then took them back and brought some boiled ones out a few minutes later. They were worse than getting freezer-burned Costco pot-stickers out of my fridge. Pot-stickers are named that for a reason. Steamed, then pan fried. Ugh. * The cashew nut chicken came without cashews! After I pointed this out, they brought a small dish of cashews for me to stir in. Seriously. In addition the cuts of chicken were very poor and low quality. * The fried rice($ 0.75 extra) was… well, I guess it was rice that had been fried. No egg, no veggies, no nothing. Just rice that had been(I suspect) fried. I understand saving on costs by offering low quality foods, but this is just silly.

The food is cheap, but the quality is even cheaper. You can tell that they cut costs on every aspect of their food, top to bottom. Lots of starches and filler, very little on meats, etc.

Fried rice is really good and not greasy. Pot stickers also very good with lot’s of flavor. Next time I will likely do take out as the restaurant is very sparse and not comfortable or cozy. Dining area could also use a good cleaning or upgrade tables, décor, etc.

My family loves this place. I was really surprised at the reviews here. We love the Beef Broccoli, the house fried rice and the egg rolls that is our staple meal. The egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken and Mu shoo Pork are exellent as well when we want something different. We always bring out family when they are in town and the service is always fast and the family is so nice. I would highly recommend from my experiences there. We probably eat here 2−3x’s a month. LOVE this place.

I enjoy this restaurant, and will go here at least once every couple of weeks. They have some great sweet and sour dishes, and I prefer the Triple D’ Lite of Shrimp, Pork, and Chicken. Granted, Sweet and Sour anything is pretty generic across Chinese Food restaurant chains, but I also enjoy the fact that their menu is cheap and their service is friendly. What isnt ideal is their location, you have to be traveling a certain way to get to it easily.
