I decided to treat myself to a butterscotch dipped cone after work and was not satisfied with my experience. First, I got to the drive thru and the girl at the register says there’s something wrong with the machine. I waited longer than I should and her manager pressed something and it finally worked(training issues?). That wasn’t too big of a deal, but she handed me a chocolate dipped cone. I did let her know and she brought me the right one, but when I went to eat it, it was all melted and it fell apart in my lap not even 5 minutes. What a freaking waste. Too bad it’s the only Dairy Queen on the way home from work.

Been standing in line for roughly 10 – 12 minutes now. The short girl behind the counter talks more than she works. Took WAY too long to make a few blizzards for one customer. Understaffed, seemingly unsupervised. Not the first time I’ve had an experience like this here, but tonight it’s extra ridiculous and although I live like four blocks away, I might be making the drive elsewhere the next time I find myself with a craving for a strawberry cheesecake blizzard. Oh, she’s ready to take our order now. –_–

This place has gone downhill big time. The staff can’t keep track of orders and the food prep area and dining room are dirty. It’s just a matter of time before they have an outbreak like Chipotle. Too bad, as DQ was a family fav.

I’d like a burger and a blizzard, hold the flies. Came in for a treat for the kids and we’re unimpressed at the extra protein.

Love Dairy Queen. But sometimes the white center or the other dairy queens give you some like lame blizzards. And I don’t like that. But today I was super happy. I went with my best friend tonight at around 8:45pm before we watch Law & Order: SVU — we need our blizzards. Never in my life have I ever had such a good blizzard. This guy is a pro. He totally made my best friends banana split blizzard perfectly when usually it’s runny. Typically I get a Georgia Mud Fudge but I got the Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard which usually turns out fine because it’s like processed gross bits of chemical bombness — he made it taste even more amazing. So thick and yummy. I’m really glad we got mediums tonight. First time my blizzard hasn’t melted before I got half way down and I’m talking about the small size ones. I’m more or less always satisfied with this Dairy Queen. But tonight was the bomb.

Stopped in for lunch after work giving it another shot, and found a black hair in my small box of french fries. Then I got sick to my stomach barely a day later. Hair nets people!!! I shudder thinking about it.

The customer service here are not very friendly at all. It seems like they are doing you a favor. «Me no like it.» The restaurant is always dirty and the booths have a lot of grease on it. They should, at least, wipe out the seats with a dump cloth. But if the floor and tables are most of the time dirty, I would not expect the booths to be cleaned up at all. Food: I got the $ 5 deal which was the 3 pieces of breaded chicken breast and it was old. So disappointed!!! My husband got the mushroom burger and it was very fresh though In most warm days, you might wait up to 15 in the drive through to get your food. So, my advice is: just pro your car and go inside. It will be way faster.

Should put hair net’s on the employees with long hair for sure. The hair is to the right on the bugger paper.

By far the worse DQ I’ve been too. Empty parking and I go thru drive thru. Girl can’t hear anything on the mic because she is talking with the other girls. Takes about 8 try till she gets my order correct. Then I drive and sit at the window for about 7 mins without a word from anyone and 2 girls are at the counter flirting wit a guy. Gees, just give me my order. Place needs a better manager as this DQ is bring run by sex addict girls.

This Dairy Queen has rude managers and, seriously, inconsistent customer service. The employees are, often, unprofessional. I once sent in a concern I had and a manager(or, it may have been the owner) sent me an argumentive email. Nice. The building is, desperately, needing a remodel. Not my go-to place, at all.

Leaving five kids in charge of your franchise may not be the best decision. I waited at the counter while all five employees argued three feet away about who was supposed to make the banana split. I finally interrupted them to ask if anyone minded taking my order. One broke off and did apologize and took my order but at least three of the rest continued their bickering right behind the front counter. Restaurant is relatively tidy although several tables could be cleaned. Food was fine.

I was walking through Redmond and as I was going by DQ thought it would be nice to stop for a peanut buster parfait. I walked in and got in the short line. While waiting to order I noticed a man behind the counter with paint stained hands wearing dirty jeans and tshirt, I thought he might be fixing something in the kitchen but then he goes to the soft serve machine and pulls a big cup of soft serve. Oh, I think, he’s getting it for himself. But no, he heads to the drive-thru window and passes it out to someone in a car! At this point I notice he’s also got the«gluteal cleft» showing out of his low slung pants. I dunno if he was the owner stopped by to help out, or manager out of uniform or what but it was just gross. I left at that point.

I have only gone for the blizzards and they are delicious! They always make it super thick instead of other locations where the blizzard was super runny. Great treat for anytime!

This is a review of lunch with my brother at Dairy Queen in Redmond, Washington. Collage: The staff was friendly and polite. There was a small line and a brief wait to order. Once our order was taken, we went and filled our beverage cups. Once we were seated, our food was brought out very quickly. They provide you with a number to place on your table. However, as noted below, there were mistakes made with the order. The ambiance was very reminiscent of what I expect from a DQ and similar fast food restaurants. The space was clean and well maintained. The bottles of ketchup on each table are a nice touch for a fast food restaurant. There are numerous booths and alternate seating with chairs on one side of the table and banquettes on the other. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger Combo, Chili Cheese Dog with large drink and large fries. Unfortunately, my order was wrong. Instead of a double cheeseburger I requested, she recorded a regular cheeseburger. We were both certain I had ordered the Double Cheeseburger Combo. Even with that, my cheeseburger didn’t have any cheese. The food was basic Dairy Queen food. My burger was simple with ketchup, mustard, and pickles. It was served on a warm and very soft sesame seed bun. I did not enjoy the fries. The main issues were that some of my fries were under-cooked and there was a very prominent flavour of oil. My guess would be that the oil was not hot enough. The chili cheese dog was very bland. The chili seemed to be straight out of a can and not a very interesting can at that. Wienersnitzel should have no fear. DQ is certainly not going to take away their fast food chain chili dog crown. My brother ordered the Flamethrower Burger combo with regular fries, regular drink and a chili cheese dog. Receipt(Lunch for Two) — $ 18.87 Overall — This was not a great DQ experience. While the staff was friendly and the service was relatively quick, they got the order wrong. Then they even prepared the wrong order incorrectly. The chili dogs were mediocre. The fries were a miss. I do not expect that I will return to this particular Dairy Queen.

My kids and I have gone to this DQ often for Blizzards. Who doesn’t like Blizzards??? They’re delicious! But the staff here is spotty at best, and tonight a server here was SO downright rude to me, I had to complain to the manager(something I’ve never had to do before, ever, anywhere). While driving through the drive-through, I ordered 2 small Blizzards through the speaker. The guy taking the order repeated«2 medium Blizzards» and I said, no, 2 small Blizzards, to which he abruptly said to me, «hey, just relax!!» and I heard his colleagues laughing loudly in the background. This was all through the speaker. I was so taken aback. No server/restaurant employee has ever talked to me like that. And it was so unprovoked. This, in front of my daughter. I said through the speaker, after I composed myself, that that was SO incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I got to the window, I asked to speak to the manager. I saw a guy tell the woman who approached that he told me «to relax». She apologized to me but said how«stressful» it was for employees to work there. I work in client services, so I know what a stressful job is. Heck, I used to be a 911 dispatcher and, years earlier, a paramedic on the east coast. I know what a stressful job is. I commiserate, yes, but there’s no justification for an employee to talk to a customer the way I was talked to today. In the future, my kids and I will go to the nearby McDonalds for soft serve ice creams or fruit smoothies. Never again will we go to DQ.

As far as fast food chains are concerned, Dairy Queen has always seemed top-tier to me. So far, there hasn’t been any particular store that has proven me wrong. The food at this one is good, but service is pretty inconsistent. That’s it in a nutshell. I do have to love the fact that the burgers aren’t a greasy mess, the fries are actually really good, and there is a strong emphasis on ice cream! Seriously, ice cream is always fun and cheap and easy to make, so I don’t know why Dairy Queen is the only one to capitalize on them. They had a deal where you could get a second blizzard sundae for 99 cents after getting the first one at full price while I was here, and I just couldn’t resist. It’s a lot of ice cream for a relatively low price! When I was here, the staff seemed to focus on making the order of the customer right before me, so I had to wait at the front of the line for a few minutes while a line was forming behind me. I wasn’t too happy with that. They couldn’t just get another person to take my order. The cool thing though is that they bring the food right to your table while you’re waiting. That’s pretty good service for a fast food restaurant. In my particular case, they somehow forgot my two blizzards, but I told them about it and they quickly got those to me and apologized. The service is nice but inconsistent. I bet they get tired of their job late in the evening. I really like the food here. They don’t seem to have much of an emphasis on the size, so you can expect whatever burger you get to be of a modest size. Even the flamethrower, which is half a pound of meat, is still kind of small but slightly spicy and really good. I don’t even think I would mind it that much if all other fast food restaurants copied Dairy Queen’s example of how to make a burger. The fries are all a bright yellow; none of them are oversalted or overcooked. There are no small burned pieces, and they remind me a lot of the fries at Fatburger, which is very close by. The blizzards seem to be basically just soft serve ice cream with bits of your choice like cookies or fruit in them. The amount they serve you is plenty, even if you get a mini size! Sadly, this restaurant does have numerous flaws. Unlike the McDonald’s which is just right across the street from here, this Dairy Queen does not appear to have a dollar menu, so all the burgers are really expensive! Keep that in mind while choosing between the two. Also, service seems to be slow late in the day, and I get the feeling that the workers don’t want to stay around for very long. But the food is good enough that I can excuse it. I think this is one of the better fast food restaurants in town, although they’re all pretty much still the same…
