Very over priced. Two pastas, two sodas, 1 starter of garlic bread $ 38. The pesto tasted alright but was runny. It’s weird set-up with fast food ordering, trays, and nice china plates. I think we will be skipping this from now on.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant because the menu looked good and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, it was mostly a disappointment. The Italian Wedding Soup was just insulting. It consisted of gross looking, absolutely tasteless, thick(mushy) noodled chicken soup that they simply tossed a few small meatballs into and called it good. Not even CLOSE to Wedding Soup. The Bruschetta was served on something closer to a stale cracker than lightly toasted bread. My son had the Pesto Genovese w/Penne that he said was«okay, but the sauce was really runny». The one thing that I actually thought tasted quite good was the Grilled Chicken Frutetto(salad). The spring mix was really tender, the chicken moist, and the portions of diced bacon, glazed walnuts, cranberries, and Gorgonzola were very generous. I also really liked that the dressing was spread on the plate first with the salad on top of it. It seemed to me this allowed you to have as much or as little dressing as you wanted without having the goofy cup on the side. Lastly, the waitress brought my entrée salad first, then my soup(so 2 for me, zero for my son), then the bruschetta, and finally my son’s entrée, each with at least 6 — 8 minutes between them. Pallino isn’t a place where your meal is served in courses(think Ivar’s). Chances are slim we’ll be going back.

Someone must be playing a horrible and nasty joke on me. I was forewarned to avoid this restaurant because of a few experiences my friends have had but I said, what the heck, I’ll give it a go. I walked in, the multitude of menus was a little alarming but I went and ordered a pesto dish with some chicken and a Caesar salad! Got a drink sat down. Food was brought to me and holy fuck. 1. The salad had no dresses. 2. The chicken was ice cold, and DIDNT appear to even be chicken. It tasted so funny and off that I instantly pulled all the chicken off my salad. Tried the pasta. No pine nuts. No flavor. It was like pesto butter milk water sauce and the chicken again didn’t TASTE or even seem like chicken. NEVERAGAIN. Horrible horrible service and food. Throwing $ 25.00 down the drain!!! NEVEREVERAGAIN!!!

Food is ok but slow slow service. It took 25 minutes to get my pep pizza. Price is kind off pricey but good food. Wish they can improve with time of service. I would be hesitate to come back.

This place was way over priced for what my wife and I received. The food wasn’t even worth the $ 28 that I ended up paying. The food looked and tasted like it was taken out of a box and heated up. I don’t know what they think you are paying for because it sure isn’t the food! I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

This place is set up weird. It’s like a fast-food/cafeteria at first and then a restaurant, where they have people bring you food in nice plating. Spaghetti and meatballs: * Meatballs were bland. * Sauce was sour/bitter * Only had half of it until my stomach didn’t want to eat it anymore * Tasted like cafeteria food * Not worth the $ 12 Probably won’t come back here.

After many days visiting Redmond, I’ve finally found this gem. I was getting tired of the unexpectedly spicy flavors I found everywhere else around. What’s the thing with the jalapeño fever lately? This place was literally a relief. 100% recommended. I rated it 5 stars instead of 6, because they close too early :)

This is my favorite place to eat when I’m in a hurry and don’t want conventional«fast food». The food is served quickly, but unlike most«fast food» restaurants, the dining area is always clean and the atmosphere is open and airy. Of course, the primary reason for choosing Pallino is the food. The pasta is delicious and I’m told the pizza is excellent too. I typically order the Fettuccini Alfredo, which is served with a hearty portion of fettuccini noodles smothered in a rich, savory cream sauce and generous chunks of chicken breast meat. Since my Pallino experiences have always been positive, I’m giving it two thumbs up and a rare five star rating.

This was our first and last visit to Pallino. It was absolutely awful. The lettuce in the salad was brown. The owner argued that it wasn’t brown, it was just the balsamic vinegar. I held up a piece of brown, wilted lettuce and she made me a new salad that was a little better. My pasta was barely warm.(The top was cold). The so called«fresh vegetables» looked like frozen mixed vegetables(peas, corn, etc) right out of the bag. The sauce tasted canned. There was no smell of cooking in the place so I assume all their food is prepackaged. It certainly tastes that way. Both of us rated it a D. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you so I assumed it would be economical. For 2 entrees, one salad and no beverages it came to $ 28.00.

Ordered 2 veggie pastas and drove home to find out one of them contained meat. Husband and I had to share the other order of pasta. We didn’t drive back because it’s 30 min away and we were on our way home after a long day’s trip. Accidents happen, but it’s annoying, wasted our money, and we were still hungry after. The food was okay. Nothing you can’t toss up at home. This was our second visit and we probably won’t be back again. Food was not worth the price. I’d rather take the extra time and sit down at Frankie’s.

A perfect 3 star. Decent solid and simple Italian. Fast casual, but with ceramic plates and glass glasses and a casual yet slightly upscale atmosphere. Had the penne with pomodoro sauce and meatballs. Average on all 3 items. Not phenomenal but fast simple and hot and a reasonable price. I can’t think of any other fast casual Italian places so hard to compare. What else can I say, 3 star.

So, I went here this afternoon after a fun day of Christmas festivities with my kids… and they got 2 kids meals, which come with a little side of fruit. I picked up a grape and ate it, and noticed that it tasted a little funny. Upon further examination, I discovered that all the fruit in the fruit cup was moldy! WHITE hairy MOLD! I have an allergy to mold, so I was freaking out. Thank God it was me who ate it and not my kids. I told an employee, and she took the fruit cup and came back and gave me another one, and said«these look good.» At this point, I was skeptical, so we didn’t eat it. As I was leaving, I asked to speak to the manager, to let her know– I don’t want anyone else’s kids getting moldy fruit either… and she was like«Oh, that’s yucky, here have a bottle of water.» I felt like they completely blew me off. Sorry, but moldy food is a BIGDEAL to me. I was super nice about it– I hate to be «that» customer when something goes wrong. But I would expect them to take the issue a little more seriously. Maybe even offer some kind of apology(??).

First time customer and I must say it won’t be the last! Its a seat yourself restaurant which I like and it was very clean and no line when I went to order. I ordered the turkey mahetto and it was perfect size and delicious! Perfect if I worked in the area and needed speedy service and good portioned food for the price. It was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was nice and upbeat which id like to thank the staff for that, who was helpful and pleasant! My only complaint is the décor… It looked like a panera bread which is alright I would just like to see more of a pizzeria décor that’s all :)

Great for families and their kids. The food is simple and an order/pay first option versus a order/pay later option. Service is standard and drinks are an order/obtain yourself fashion. It’s still a sitdown restaurant, but easily a take-out restaurant as well. Located at the Redmond Town Center next door to the AT&T store, Pallino is easy to find. Good for children’s parties or large family groups.

Wild mushroom penne was really salty. Not sure why people are confused about the service here. You order at the counter, so you expect less service. The fact that they bring food to the table is more like a perk. I do leave a small tip at the table, though. The kid’s meal fruit has that weird bitter taste on their apples. I think it’s that stuff that preserves the apple from browning or going bad, but I thought lemon does the trick, not sure why it’s bitter.

We come here fairly regularly when we’re at Redmond Town Center. You order at the counter, get your own drinks, and then a server brings your meal to whatever table you find. The food is reliable, if not exciting: rigatoni in meat sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, some good hot sandwiches. I like that you can order a half sandwich so you don’t need to feel stuffed. The salads are also fairly good. They have a warm Parmesan chip appetizer that we always enjoy. The décor is family friendly, fairly generic italian-theme. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly. The price is right for what you get — a quick, fairly inexpensive, but tasty meal at the mall.

Pallino is a curious mix of fast food and restaurant. It does neither particularly well. The food is cheap but nondescript. It’s roughly on par with something you’d get from a microwave meal. Pallino offers a cross between you serving yourself and them providing the service. This combination isn’t an inherently bad idea, but they implemented it in a confusing way. It’s difficult to know how to order, and whether you or the employee should do something. You need to read instructions on what to do, but even those don’t cover everything. After coming here once you’ll probably understand(you order at a counter and get your own water, utensils, and napkins). Yet the food isn’t enough to bring you back. Their business model is curious. They save money by keeping employees behind the counter, but they need to spend so much time explaining things, and they still have to bring you your food, that they’re not really saving much at all. If they explained the flow better, or if they optimized it to make more intuitive sense, they wouldn’t have this problem.

I wanted to like this place, but if it didn’t disappoint enough with the mediocre, overpriced food, it absolutely hit rock bottom with the awful service. We ordered a relatively simple order at the same time: pasta with meat sauce for me, lasagna for him, flatbread to start. We had not been seated 5 minutes when my pasta arrived. Trying to preserve manners, I waited for his ood, which surely would be following quickly… right? No, but I did get a quick lesson in really bad service. After 15 minutes, my pasta, which arrived only lukewarm anyway, was flat out cold and several other customers had been served. I went to the register to inquire, and the cashier informed me that«lasagna takes longer.» I told him that my food was completely cold and asked why our food didn’t come together. The guy sort of rolled his eyes, shrugged, and pointed toward the kitchen. Another 5 minutes later, the lasagna finally showed up. I was not offered to get new pasta(you know, pasta that wasn’t cold) or even apologized for the delay. The whole experience was really disappointing, particularly for the inflated price. The entire meal came to over $ 30, which is completely absurd. My food was absolutely disgusting. It wasn’t very good pasta to start with, but eaten cold, it was pretty horrible. The lasagna wasn’t even proper lasagna, but some layers in a bowl with a couple of pieces of sausage on top. Ironically, after taking 20 minutes longer than my pasta, the sauce in parts of the lasagna was only lukewarm. The flatbread was good, but that«appetizer» came after the rest of our food. Of course.
