The ambiance is quaint and clean. This is your average to above average thai place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good too. I loved the young coconut!

Really good drunken noodles. Only draw back I ask for extra spicy and they brought none spicy but they made up with bringing me some delcious extra spicy one and even brought me a side of their own spicy powder separate from what they give to customers. It was spicy and delicious and staff was very nice.

I was super excited to try this restaurant since I frequent the area, and saw that it was super packed when we came here for dinner yesterday, and I’m genuinely sad to give this place two stars. Although I like the location, the ambience, and the service… what was lacking here was the food… and that’s a major problem! First of all, I got my BF sick, and he wanted some hot and spicy soup, so we ordered a large shrimp tom yum soup, and asked for it medium spicy. We were excited when the soup came out, but it was lukewarm, which was odd, since I did see a flame in the soup dish and could even see smoke… so why is the soup not hot… I like my soup to be very hot. Second issue was there was no spice… usually when you order medium spicy at a Thai restaurant, there tends to be a big kick… we did not feel any kind of kick whatsoever. My third issue with this dish was the ingredients inside, please see my photo-there were big chunks of mushrooms, green onions, and tomatoes-it seemed like whoever was chopping up in the kitchen got tired or lazy, and decided to just do a bit of chopping and threw it in the dish. Also, the shrimp was frozen. At about $ 11 for soup, I definitely expect more than what I got in this dish. I was hoping for better in our upcoming dishes. Next came the garlic pork ribs, which came out with 5 medium sized ribs that were seasoned well but it was more saucy than I had anticipated. Also, I was expecting spare ribs for some reason, since that is what I order at Thai Patio in Thai Town, so I was disappointed to see 5 ribs that look like what I’d get at Chilli’s or TGI Fridays. I still don’t know if I saw spare ribs, or imagined I saw spare ribs-I need to double check the menu. Regardless, I thought this dish was just okay. Pieces of the meat were tough. Lastly was the pad see ew, which I had to have them check on, since we were nearly done with our soup and ribs, and the pad see ew was nowhere to be found. I thought to myself, there is no way they can mess up this dish… sadly they did. The noodles were a light color, please see my pic, which is odd, since everyone knows pad see ew comes out dark with the Thai soy sauce. It also had American broccoli, which is definitely not what I’m used to. Lastly was the taste, my BF kept saying it tasted off, and I agreed. We finally agreed that it tasted too vinegar-y. I like vinegar, but don’t want that to be the flavor I taste in my pad see ew. I still don’t understand how we had such a negative food experience here with all the awesome reviews. I’m not sure if we had an off day, or if we have too high expectations for Thai food-since we are used to Ruen Pair and Ayara quality Thai food. Unfortunately, I will not be back. If I’m in the area, I’d rather go to Bangkok Grill.

Been ordering lunch few times, food taste good and their lunch special is great. I love the beef chow mein and drunken noodles are good too, extra spicy please :) I think they should re-think their dish size and beef-to-ingredients ratio, for some reason it feels small, and that’s comparing to other dishes arrived in the order. I’ll definitely keep ordering from them, we all enjoyed every time we did.

Great service! Wasn’t too impressed with the food though. If you are familiar with traditional thai cuisine I would probably just skip this place. Pad Thai: they took«al dente» a little too far. toughest noodles I’ve ever encountered lol Pineapple Curry: I prefer my curries more thick than thin, it was meh. Asked for extra spicy, curry was almost spicy the rest of the dishes I tried were okay. Wouldn’t come back though.

Absolutely LOVED this place! The dumplings were to die for, seriously. The girls were great. I loved the lady running it. Such a sweetheart! And so happy to hear they deliver:)) There are so many healthy options and the menu is set up so that you can see which dishes might be too spicy, which are gluten free and which contain nuts. Which is a big one for me! I may have to make this my go-to lunch spot

The Thai meal was good, but nothing out of the ordinary(we ordered pineapple curry and pad see ew), we also got some chicken skewers and fried wontons for appetizers on their happy hour menu. My favorite however was the mango sticky rice we got for dessert, warm and not too sweet. The service was good and people super friendly :)

I decided to give this place a try && ordered a combination fried rice Togo and I found a hair in it. I called and told them I found a hair In my food and if they would refund my money or if I would get credit for the fried rice. The COMBINATIONFRIEDRICE is $ 14 plus tax $ 15.26 The man on the phone told me he would credit me $ 15 for next time. So today was next time, we ordered another combination fried rice, veggie egg rolls and chicken and shrimp red curry lunch special. And I placed an order over the phone and mentioned the credit over the phone and they said it was only $ 9 noted and I told them I have a $ 15 credit and I have the receipt, they told me it’s fine to bring the receipt and they will credit the $ 15. I went in to pick up the food and the pregnant lady there told me no it’s only $ 9, I explained to her the situation that the man on the phone a week ago told me he would credit $ 15 and she told me she didn’t know I was telling the truth or not but she has to follow the note on the system and I said«okay, then why did the guy tell me $ 15» and she kept arguing with me about how she can no give me $ 15 and the note says $ 9 and I told her the customer is always right, and her response is, no not here. My friend and I were shocked. And yes the customer is always right no matter what. I am in the customer service industry and I try my best to please all my customers and meet all their needs. Anyways after 10 min of arguing in front of all her customers, she says would you be happy if I just take the credit off for the fried rice you ordered today?(Shouldn’t have been done in the first place?) and I said yes that fine and then she kept saying some things, which I ignored at this point and was fed up and about to walk out and just never come back. She calls the guy who took my order a week ago and who also said the $ 15 for the credit. And the guy took blame and the lady didn’t even apologize and says okay he did say it was his fault and she also told me the regular fried rice is $ 9. Does that mean they were trying to rip us off? $ 9 credit for a $ 15 combo fried rice? Because he tried to put regular fried rice… Guess what I have the receipt to prove it was $ 15.26! I’m very fed up with this situation. Took the food home after 12 min of back and forth and arguing and opened my food and my curry doesn’t even have one single shrimp! Only chicken! I WILLNOTBEGOINGBACKHERE! WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE !

Had lunch here a few weeks ago with a co-worker and I’ve been back two more times since. What a great little local spot in N Redondo for tasty and reasonably priced Thai cuisine. They have a lunch menu with meals that range from $ 8-$ 10 and offer various rice and noodle dishes. So far I’ve tried the spicy noodles with veggies, shrimp pad Thai and papaya salad. The noodle dishes even as a lunch serving are quite more like dinner size portions and could easily be a full lunch serving with leftovers as a lite dinner. Definitely a good bang for your buck! Loved the mixture of veggies and with the lunch special you get a veggie egg roll and small side salad. Veggie egg roll is fried to a golden brown and crunchy to the bite with a sweet and sour sauce for dipping. The side salad I could do without, dressing is too sweet and the salad to dressing ratio is off when you dine in(take out that put in small container). I was a little disappointed with my papaya salad. I had ordered that one to-go and at first glance, it looked sizable. But when you start digging, there’s a handful of shredded papaya and carrots on top with a thick slice(easily one inch thick) of green cabbage underneath… and it’s just one big chunk that you need to chop up to eat, and they did not give me a knife in my bag but luckily I was at work so I had access to some utensils(total run on sentence, lol)! Flavors weren’t overly fishy and will up the spice level next time. It was garnished with whole peanuts, green beans, tomatoes and a wedge of lime. I thought two shrimps was a little cheap too. For a $ 9 salad, I thought it would have been more of an entrée size meal. Despite my griping about just one salad, overall it’s a good value and very good food. Looking forward to trying some of their curry and rice dishes in the near future.

After my previous 3-stars rating, the owner sent me a condescending Unilocal compliment without introducing himself as the owner. He stated«why cant you look at it from the business owner’s perspective, with wages going up and blah blah blah» … With all due respect, I dont need to. I am a consumer and value to quality is important to me. It’s your right to up your prices but make it worthwhile for the customers too. So, Adison if you wanted me to be sympathetic and remove/edit my review, sending me an unfriendly note is not the way to do it.

One of my favorites!!! I freakin love their drunken noodle with chicken! I’ve tried with beef and shrimp but enjoyed it with chicken the best. Shrimp was good but it was very limited. beef was good but chicken had more flavor. We get it medium spicy. Cashew nut with chicken is so amazing. It’s so tasty and the veggies are so fresh. I order it with brown rice. Love this dish. The fried dumplings is amazingly good especially with the dipping sauce. We also tried the steam version, it was good but we prefer the fried dumplings. Lunch specials are cheap and delicious. Comes with egg roll and salad. Prices overall are good! Also try the chai tea. It’s so good. Wish they had martinis lol. But they do have wine and beer.

I’m surprised I never came here or even ordered take out from Bamboo Thai Bistro since I love Thai food and have been paying a little more attention to south bay restaurants recently. Bamboo Thai was excellent as we enjoyed their perfectly mild green papaya salad and Pad Thai with chicken, shrimp and tofu. We especially liked the shrimp spring roll appetizer. Beautifully done and presented while wrapped in romain lettuce and rice paper, accompanied by tasty peanut sauce. Our waitress was delightful and service terrific. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and more frequently!

This place seems to be really busy every time we pass by, so we finally decided to try it. We live close enough so we were able to place an order for delivery. They do not charge for delivery if you live close enough but there is a minimum amount that you need to order. When we ordered, they told us that the delivery takes about 45 minutes and I think it took about that amount. However, other Thai places usually say 45 minutes too and it was during peak hours, so it was what we expected. We ordered typical our Thai orders. Pad see ew, papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, green curry, pad thai and duck salad. However, I was not impressed with their foods. I think their papaya salad and duck salad were okay. However, the rest of dishes tasted very blend. Thai food is known for their flavors, but these dishes were lacking a lot. Some were okay, but I definitely had better in this neighborhood.

excellent service and delicious food! I always get the shrimp or chicken pad Thai. you can never go wrong with pad Thai. The lunch specials are like $ 7 and really filling. it comes with a side salad and an egg roll with your food. your food may look small, but it definitely is filling. the pad see ew(I think that’s the one with the thick noodles and broccoli and the meat) is pretty good too. my friend who’s pretty picky about his food really liked it! You can either park on the street or on the left side of the building in the small lot. getting out of parking lot can be tricky since its on a busy section of Artesia.

I returned for lunch today and pleasantly surprised to find their lunch portions have increased! I looked around to see if it was just mine on a fluke, but no, all the other customers were enjoying their lunch specials with significantly larger portion sizes from my last review! Maybe the restaurant management read and acted on my earlier comments! Lunch specials are reasonably priced at $ 6.95 and include a small salad and egg roll. Shrimp for an additional $ 2.00.

Came here on a Friday night after 9 pm and the place was still pretty busy! I had just picked up a friend from LAX, and we were looking for a Thai spot, and I came across this one on Unilocal! We were on the hungry side and definitely drooling over all the options. We ordered: — Sampler Platter — Pad Thai with chicken — Pad See Ew with beef — coconut milk soup(it’s like tom yum, but add coconut milk) The prices were great! The noodle dishes were under $ 10.00. Which for a North County San Diegan, that’s cheap! Food was delicious. I loved the soup! Pad See Ew beef was a lil overcooked and dry. But besides that I’d definitely go back!
