It’s you’re typical Denny’s. Good service and standard food. You should know what you’re getting yourself into when you go to a chain restaurant like this.

I like eating at any Denny’s location but this one right here is by far most my favorite location to eat. There’s always plenty of parking in the front or in the back of the building. Every time I walk in I quickly get greeted and right away I am getting seated. I personally love to sit on the booths to the left when you enter the restaurant, but if they are in use I don’t mind sitting any where else. This Denny’s is always quiet the people seem not to be disruptive of anyway and that’s what I like to do especially on a date with my Fiancé ! Ruben Is The Best Waiter That They Have, he quickly addresses you and gives you plenty of time to order not like a lot of other locations where they rush you. He brings condiments we didn’t ask for but that’s a good thing cause you never know, he also brings us refills without us even asking which is another good thing ! He continues to ask us if everything is ok and tells us sorry I just wanna make sure you guys are satisfied ! He deserves the Tips we give him ! Thanks Ruben !

Great Place to eat I been here twice and both times the service was great and the food even better even when I request my broccoli cook 3 minutes they over cooked them and I asked for low calorie italian dressing they gave me thousand island. Overall the steak was tender the mash potatoes excellent. Those 2 things were not a deal killer… I just ask that either they pull out a pen and paper and write it down or repeat back to the customer their order so their won’t be a mistake in the order. It was still a great meal and fast courteous service.

I ordered a to go supreme green skillet and the avocado sauce is too much and heavy. There is too little red bell pepper and mushroom. The portion is very small for a $ 8.99 dish. Too bad, they really should taste the food they make and improve a lot.

I know usually people want to talk about the customer service or how good their meal was, but let me take a second to talk to you about this hot chocolate. This hot chocolate is no ordinary creation. No sir. This is the hot chocolate of your dreams. This is the kind of hot chocolate that your grandmother made when you were a little kid, this is the kind of hot chocolate you sip beside a fire curled up in blankets. This is not just hot chocolate. It’s an act of God himself. That first sip hits you like a train. You feel the cool whipped cream on your upper lip as you consume it’s wonders. Then the actual hot chocolate follows, overwhelming and enveloping you all at once. You feel like a child again, with a hint of sophistication you only get from staring out the window on a rainy day. After you’ve just about finished, it’s chocolate-y delight catches and holds you in its warm embrace. You leave with a sense of satisfaction and pride you wish your father had given to you in middle school. Hot chocolate? No. Beautiful chocolate.

Denny’s is reliable, you can count on it to be consistent and delicious, plus the service we get at this location is always wonderful. We love to come on any kids-eat-free night and our waiter even asked where our son was(though he is taller than me now). Our Three-thumb review was 2 ½ thumbs up. This time I had an amazing burger — BBQ bourbon bacon burger! The onion rings(substituted) were very equal size and shape with each ring. Nice and crisp, no burnt areas. My daughter’s child pasta was a lot smaller than it used to be(plus she’s grown) though when she stirred it to eat it, it seemed more filling so they stayed at a reluctant ½ thumb. Between the pasta, the garlic bread and the apple dipper slices to dunk in caramel, she was full. My son didn’t go with us but we got him a patty melt. They were out of rye but sourdough but his thumbs up was that it worked just as well. They’ve just recently given the location a face-lift and the booths don’t have sinkholes, etc. See you there next time!

I will give them 5 stars for doing a great job updating their interior furnishings, new floors, booths, chairs, tables; for offering Free Wi-Fi; and for honoring the seniors with the 55+ deals. They sent us this mailer that has a 20% off entire check coupon, $ 5 off $ 15 coupon and 99 cents entrée with purchase coupon. Great job with your marketing, it got us in here. If you happen to be around on February 17th, stop by and check out their changes. It’s so much nicer, cleaner, and fresh inside. And they are offering really low $ on 3 staple menu items on that date only.

The waiter is so rude and gave us attitude when asked to be seated. He took other peoples names down and refused to take ours. If i could i would not give this place any stars due to the bad attitude this server gave us. He is a tall mexican that looks like he just rolled out of bed. AVOIDTHISLOCATION

The omelettes at this place are so bad. They don’t personally beat the eggs since the egg batter is shipped to them and comes beaten. Disappointed! I would definitely not recommend this place if you wish to have eggs.

Laura O. Pretty much said it perfectly. I realize this is Denny’s and not expecting great but this place is gross. No waiter came over after ten minutes so I asked the manager to have someone come over(kids were starving). There’s potatoes mashed in the rug, it’s smells like a homeless person lives under the table and the silverware had crusted food all over it. Bad service, disgustingly filthy, smelly– keep away!

I went to this branch around 10:34p.m. Very few people were dining. Service was really slow. I was with my girlfriend and we had leave our seats a couple times to locate the waiters. We ordered the prime rib Cobb salad. It was ok. Loved the broccoli soup.

Chicken Bacon Avocado Caesar Salad from Denny’s in Redondo. In South Bay we are very limited when it comes to late night options for food. Denny’s usually gets a pass from me because I’ve usually had 1 or more adult drinks and feel like any food is the ticket to not feeling like crap the next morning. But I went in the other night with clear eyes and an open heart and it made me say” No more”. The salad was decent on Chicken and Avocado but had almost no bacon and was filled with 90% romaine and no other ingredients. Team that with terrible dressing to accompany the salad. The Chicken Tenders my friend had were all breading and fried to almost a rock. The Quesadilla was also almost all tortilla. These big chain restaurants have become so bad in comparison to the cool, local, fresh ingredient, creative, chef driven movement. I hope I see the day when some of these places go under.

Worst costumer service ever. Weren’t that many people there and half the store was closed. Me and my girlfriend were the only Blacks there, not one Black customer or employee, and I can see why. The waiter was very rude. Not only were we not offered anything to drink when seated, the waiter catered to everyone around us, even the people who walked in after us. After waiting 15 minutes for a glass of water, it took almost triple the time to receive my grand slam. The food was halfway cooked, and if it wasn’t free, I definitely would be suing for discrimination. Thanks to this incident, I’ll never eat at a Denny’s again.

Awesome customer service! They go above and beyond the regular service! The food is good and always warm and just as I ordered it. I wasn’t able to pick up my free birthday breakfast so they gave me my OJ and coffee free!

I can’t believe I’m writing a review for a Denny’s, but this location was so shockingly filthy, I felt the need. With most corporate places, you know what you’re going to get. Let’s be real, few people are rollin’ over to Denny’s for elevated cuisine, but one should at least be able to rely on consistency and cleanliness. At this Denny’s location you’ll find neither. The level of grime is of EPIC proportions. Someone in charge needs to grab a bucket of soapy water, a wheelbarrow full of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and some serious elbow grease and at LEAST give the IMPRESSION that someone there cares. It is truly filthy. I’ve been a a few times over the past several years(hey, when it’s 2am and a gal has a hankerin’ to build her own slam, where else is she gonna go?) and the general state of disrepair has become worse and worse. The tables are slimy, the blinds are caked with dust, the floors are jaw-droppingly grimy, even the WALLS are sticky and the ladies room… UGH, don’t even get me started. The only things consistent at this location(because it’s certainly not the food… which is what you’d expect one visit and below sub-par the next) are the foul odors and greasy surfaces. Please understand, when I say sub-par, I mean sub-par FOR A DENNY’S. I’m not expecting anything more than it is, but even for Denny’s they’ve aimed their shot well below the mark. Not every restaurant needs to be a five star eatery, but EVERY restaurant can be clean, and this location has clearly just given up. Bottom line: Grab your Moons Over My Hammy elsewhere… or BYOL(bring your own Lysol.)

Decided to stop by Denny’s on the southeast corner of Artesia and Aviation while my car was being serviced at a service center. I had never been to a Denny’s before in my life, so I decided why not give it a shot? After my visit to this Denny’s, I was kicking myself in the foot… not because of a bad choice I made for breakfast, but for not going to any Denny’s earlier in my life. As I entered the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a claw machine. Claw machines always interest me because I was always wondering what prizes they had inside, but their plush toys were of no interest to me. That’s okay. I didn’t come to Denny’s for a toy; I came to eat. I barely waited at all because the Denny’s wasn’t too crowded at the time I went(I went at around 10AM on a Saturday morning). A very nice server greeted me and took me to a booth seat near the far corner of the restaurant. As I sat down, she gave me a menu. The menu really wasn’t that huge… only a few pages long(though the pages themselves were quite large), and at least half of the pages weren’t breakfast-related. So it shouldn’t have been hard to make a choice, right? Not quite. As I perused the laminated menu for breakfast choices, I kept trying to decide among a Grand Slam, an omelette, a skillet, and pancakes. Well I immediately ruled out pancakes since I’m not as big a fan of pancakes(I prefer waffles), and the Grand Slam consisted of foods that I’ve had before when I was in college, so that narrowed it down to a skillet and an omelette. Even when it was just a 50 – 50, I still couldn’t decide between the two! Not only that, but I also saw a picture of a Philly Cheesesteak omelette as well as the Ultimate omelette. I also saw a couple pictures of two different skillets that looked good as well! Oh boy back to square one on deciding between four things. As the server came by my table to take my order, I was still deciding, but I had ruled out the Philly Cheesesteak because it seemed like the Ultimate contained more(and I’ve had a few Philly Cheesesteaks before). The server suggested the two skillets that I was looking at, and that’s when I made my decision: «Okay in that case, I’ll go for the Ultimate Omelette.» She got a kick out of it! And then she asked me what bread I wanted. I totally forgot about that! White, Wheat, Sourdough, English Muffin, or 7-grain? It wasn’t that hard of a decision: I ended up picking the 7-grain. How was the food overall? De to the lish! Hash browns cooked to an excellent crisp! 7-grain toast toasted to perfection(though they could have used more butter on my toast)! The omelette wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but I wasn’t complaining. I thought all the fixings would be embedded inside the eggs, but it turns out the eggs were totally separate from the rest. It was kind of like a taco with the eggs being the shell of the taco. Not exactly what I was expecting, but oh well. As long as the food tasted good(and it definitely did!), I was one satisfied customer. It was, like I said in my first paragraph, my first trip to a Denny’s, and it certainly won’t be the last!

This Denny’s has the best service of any Denny’s in which I have dined. Most Denny’s are terrible with disappearing waitresses and long delays for food. I have eaten in Denny’s all over the country and I would rate most 1 or 2 stars because of poor service. However, this Denny’s in Redondo Beach has exceptional service with an energetic wait staff and a efficient kitchen. On the outside it looks like a pretty standard Denny’s but once you sit down you’ll experience a big difference.

I’m sorry to agree with some other Unilocalers in this as I hate 1 star reviews, but this place could care less. Bottom if the barrel for service and food prep. It needs new ownership and a staff that gives a crap about the overall experience. I would call it dining, but it’s a ways from that term. This morning they messes up my egg sandwich two ways(quite a feat) and brought my daughters pancakes after we were done. The check was added wrong and we hopefully won’t get sick. Stick a fork in this place, it’s done!
