Little Corner Furniture Repairing & Refinishing

I just picked up 2 pieces of furniture from the Little Corner Furniture shop and love the way they came out. First piece was a dresser that we wanted to be refinished to match an unusual white distressed finish and he nailed it! Literally! 2^nd piece was a custom built TV stand with cabinet doors and shelves also made to match some other furniture in our home. Both pieces came out beautifully and it was a pleasure dealing with Mynar and his dad. His dad worked tirelessly to complete the work earlier than promised and his mom was so sweet as well. I highly recommend this shop for your woodworking needs.

Spent $ 1500 on book shelves… put books on shelves and they broke and crashed. Went to owners to ask to fix and gave us a hard time and wanted more money. Bad people stay away they aren’t honest

A disappointing attempt to work with them! I stopped in to have them custom make 2 chairs for me. When I returned with money an hour later (he only takes cash or check) he had decided to raise the rate he had previously quoted me. That was that, and he tried to make me think I misunderstood his quote! Who does business this way?! Not me! And I’m glad I moved on, especially after reading the other Unilocal reviews. Too bad because I really try to support local businesses but not when they are trying to take advantage of their customers.

I needed to have two antique kitchen chairs re-​caned. I have taken them to another source in the past, but I read the good reviews about Little Corner so decided to try them. By the way, their price was $ 50/​chair more than the other place I have used.
I picked up the chairs in a hurry as I was leaving for a 3-​wweek vacation the next day. I thought they looked a little odd but chalked that up to being cleaned up and polished.
When I got home three weeks later, I looked more closely at them. The new caning was a complete different color than it was originally. So now I have two chairs this new color and two chairs the original color.
I took the chair back and was told there was nothing they could do. He did the best he could to match the color. Believe me, it wasn’t even close! The original is a light yellowish-​brown. The new is very dark brown. I am going to have to take them back to my original source to be redone.

Our first item we purchased from them was a tall cabinet that was used as storage + liquor cabinet + bookshelf… now we are using it in our new place as a TV console.
The second item was actually a massive wall unit with tons of drawers and storage for $ 1400+ that was custom made to very specific tolerances we needed for an art studio to keep all the supplies and items organized. Everything was made properly and fit perfectly.
We’ve had them also modify a desk that was made years ago to have a different configuration, and even had them recently modify the rails on our wooden bed frame to fit better to the mattress and shape of the room we are now in.
All 4 experiences so far have been excellent. Soon I’m going to have them fix a sofa chair that has a broken leg.
All in all, whether you’re modifying an existing piece of furniture or getting something custom made, you will be pleased with the work, and the good customer service offered by Arturo and his family!
