My parents were going through a difficult situation and went to Vic Mann Paralegal office for a divorce. We were in his office for 30 min max giving him information on my parents and he give us a list of items he we needed in order for him to file a divorce paperwork. He charged us upfront for the service and we left to gather the information he requested. Later that night my parents got cold feet and decide not to follow through on the divorce so I call him and explain the situation and requested a refund. He refused to return our money because he said he had already invested his time. Really spending 30 min of his time on taking basic information does not justify him keeping 1,000 for doing nothing. I would have understood if he needed to charge us something but not the full cost of filing a divorce. That’s really shady business beware.
