I’ve lived in Redondo Beach for about 2 years and never visited Redondo Beach Brew Co. After my visit today, I completely understand why none of my friends have even mentioned this place when hanging in the Rivera. The service was atrocious. Our waitress was uncomfortably rude to us and the tables around us. She disappeared several times and didn’t check on us after dropping off the food. At one point, the busser pushed two tables together for a party of 5, the waitress came out and yelled at the customers«I’ll let it slide this time, but you guys are not allowed to do this, you’re wrong.» Talk about mixed signals, one employee helps the customer and another loudly scolds them for it. Ridiculous. The food was slightly better than the service, but still woefully disappointing. My chili came out lukewarm. I would have sent it back, but the waitress was MIA. I guess when a waitress’ extremely poor attitude turns your stomach, it’s hard to enjoy the cuisine.

My hubby and I come in here for happy hour normally which is decent prices. Food about $ 5 and $ 2 off wine and beer. Good for typical happy hour food. Came in tonight for brothers bday as I recommended it. Everything was terrible. Food was bland. Service terrible. Almost felt bad interrupting our server while she was eating for a refill. Servers eating on the floor!!! While guests are dining?!? I’m the industry so I know the hard parts of dealing with guests and working long hours but we weren’t a burden or making your life difficult. Why did we have to get up while YOU were eating for service? This is what kills business. 50% quality 50% service. If u don’t have at least one you won’t be successful

Real fan of this place for its beers and for its food! It has a really nice selection of home-brewed beers that cater to different kinds of tastes. I’m an IPA girl and they have at least 5 to choose from, compared to others where there’s usually only one or two. My go to menu item is the Salmon Tower, which is just the perfect amount of food and not too heavy.

Nestled in the Village in Redondo, this place is buzzing most nights and with good reason. With multiple beers on tap and the ability to try samplers, this place is hoping(pun intended) The bartender on Friday night was awesome, didn’t catch his name but man did he bust his butt taking care of everyone at the bar and those seated for dinner. Music was right up my street, 80’s all night! Food looked very good however we didn’t get chance to try any, definitely will next time!

Beer selection is top notch(they no longer brew here; it is just a very good, diverse list of craft drafts). Food is solid(various American pub fare). Service is friendly and attentive. Décor is ready for an upgrade.

The beer was cold, the food was delicious. The steak was cooked just right. This place is like a second home to us. Every time we come here they treat us like we are famous. Bree gave us great service. Recommended highly from both of us.//

I love this place. They have a great beer selection, good food(a little pricey, but definitely not outrageous), and nice ambiance. My favorite experience is sitting on the patio with a cold Belgian beer and ordering the seared ahi salad(I think that’s what it’s called). Always had good service.

Great beer selection and a lot of great food choices. I’ve tried a different dish every visit. Awesome. Multiple games on big screens. After 8pm it’s really kickback.

Not a great experience. Being from San Diego, when I see«Brewing» is in the name of a restaurant I expect them to have many of their own beers on tap. Nope! They only had two of their own beers on tap. Sat on the upstairs patio and the table were cheap plastic lawn furniture. The table was so wobbly we had to put napkins under the table leg to fix it. The food was mediocre. Just basic bar food. The bathroom was gross. Not impressed. Won’t be back.

Definitely recommend sitting on the second floor patio! They keep the patio heated, and it has an nice view of the Riviera Village. I loved the atmosphere this restaurant has. The service was adequate, and the food was decent. However, I found the food here to be a little overpriced. I ordered the Rib Eye Dip for $ 16, which was adequate, but I’ve had better. Overall, this restaurant is pretty decent.

Even on a cold evening, the second door patio/balcony is warm. If you sit against the glass, you can people-watch below, which can be rather entertaining. I only tried two things here — the barbecue chicken pizza and a glass of chardonnay(the name of which eludes me). The pizza was decent and extremely cheesy. I liked that aspect of it, but I can see how not everyone would. The unnamed wine was a little sweet and pleasant. I’d order it again. There was some trouble and confusion ordering, but our waitress was very patient and accommodating.

Not too happy, first time I tried to use an offer by Unilocal, the restaurant declined. Lol, first and last I guess. The food is good and 1 dish can be easily shared.

Another wowzers in Redondo Beach! Excellent food and service. Male staff rounded frequently to check on us. Food was served warm and fresh. Beers were refreshing especially the passion fruit one. Located in Riviera Village with outside seatings. Simply awesome.

Great beer selection. If you really want a treat, go with the blueberry wheat beer as many Unilocalers have already recommended. I’m not usually a fan of wheat beers but this one has fresh blueberries at the bottom, and it’s just delightful. Food is a bit pricey. The philly cheesesteak sandwhich and ahi tuna sandwich are both good. Calamari appetizer is decent. I love the location — in the Riviera Village in Redondo Beach, walking distance from the beach itself. Metered parking, but free after 6pm. Every time I’ve come here, it’s never been too busy and service has been great. There are daily specials so ask about that.

Pretty awesome place, lots of beers on tap. The waitress was super helpful and sweet. This restaurant looks like it is a favorite among locals. I will confess, I thought the pizza was going to be much bigger when we received it, but boy does the taste make up for the size. We had the bbq chicken pizza and it packed a punch. We also ordered a salad, I forgot which one it was but it had chicken, cranberries and cheese. I would totally recommend this place to someone who is in the neighborhood.

Wasn’t super impressed w the BBQ chick pizza, not much flavor. Sampler platter was great tho, classic pub fare and the beer list was awesome. Tried their own Amber and their blueberry wheat, both great. My favorite tho, was the belching beaver peanut butter stout! Delicious.

Redondo Beach Brewing is a fun spot to meet up for some beers, people-watching, and chatting with friends. I’ve been here a couple of times and can attest that the food is alright. They’ve got some burgers, pastas, sandwiches… a little bit of everything, but they are not particularly great at any one dish. We’ve had burgers and some gyros there. They were fine, but I think I’d rather come here for some drinks and appetizers like their nachos or calamari. Grab a seat on their lanai, if you can. The second-floor lanai offers great views of the riviera, the first-floor lanai offers some good people watching(which I love almost as much as staring off into the ocean). One common misconception I can dispel here is that they do not brew any beers in house. They have a nice selection of beers, but my friends have been bummed to find there is nothing a-brewin’ at the Redondo Beach Brewing Company. I’m not a beer drinker, so I don’t really care, but I thought I’d let you know in case you’re expecting an actual brewery.

I really love this section of town, and have always wanted to try this Brewing Co. Well I finally rounded up some friends and gave it a shot! Firstly, I expected this to be a craft brewery, featuring fresh homemade beer. I was a little surprised to find that, despite the name, they don’t make any of their own brews. That having been said, they do have a very large selection of both traditional, and exotic beers from all over the country. So they most certainly have something you’ll like. Another big positive about this place is that, upon request, they’ll let you sample a few beers for free. Because honestly, who wants to spend $ 7 on a beer they may hate. I mean AMIRIGHT?! Lastly, the food. While I enjoyed a turkey sandwich with fries(that I thought was good), my friend tried a chicken salad that smelled a little funky and didn’t sit very well with her. So what I’m trying to say is… Skip the salad. Do NOT skip the beers!
