Not much here… Not sure how they stay in business

I’d like to like you more, oh Style Rage, but I fear that I cannot love that which is so *meh*. You could be more like Forever 21 or more like Wasteland or more like something, but instead you wallow, listlessly, with no personality that I can discover or would much want to. Which sucks, as I bought a Cloops for $ 40 worth of merch here and cannot seem to find even $ 10 worth of anything I would want to buy.
— Stars — Selection. Yes, the store is wee tiny, so I don’t expect a ton of stuff, but why the crappy crap? Take a clue from some excellent small stores that parse down their selection to micro but great.
— Stars — Stale. The clothes here have been the same both times I have come in, and that was in December of 2011 and now, again, in March 2012, with little added. It’s like they stock it til it goes. Which would be fine if the stuff weren’t so lame.
— Stars — Quality. Like what you would expect to get in the Santee Alley part of downtown LA. Cheap made in China crap. And looks it.
+ Stars — Convenient. I want to shop here! It’s on my way too and from so many places like my Post Office, fav foods etc. It’s very visible from PCH. Wish they had anything I actually wanted.
This store needs a real buyer who knows how to shop and has style. Right now, they don’t have a chance in heck in a sophisticated market like the South Bay. I feel bad for them, as it’s likely a nice little mom and pop business, but it’s less Style Rage than Style Blah.
