The Termite King

We met Tony from Termite King at an open house we were attending in our neighborhood when he was doing an inspection. We noticed just how thorough he was then so we decided to ask him for his information to make a bid on the tenting of our place. We had 3 other local and national companies come by to make a bid and we chose Termite King because we felt we could trust Tony the most & he was willing to be competitive price-​wise. He & his team did a great job with prepping us for the tenting and with the follow up. Thank you Tony & Termite King team for a job well done. It’s so nice to live in a termite-​free home! Tony also offers a great warranty for a decent price. We feel confident that Tony can help us stay termite-​free in years to come.

I wrote a review a year ago but for some reason it is no longer posted. I wonder why? Maybe someone at Unilocal can explain this to me? When Tony came back to reinspect I asked him about the review and he said it was no longer up here so I will write another one.
A year ago I called The Termite King because we had termite damage in an area of the house that was close to impossible to get to. (I did not want to tent since our roofing tile would likely be damaged in the process.) One termite company refused to spot treat this area because the inspector just was not willing to do the acrobatic maneuvers needed to get to the spot under the house. I can’t say I blame him. When I told him that I was considering hiring The Termite King, he said I would not be disappointed, And he was right.
Tony went above and beyond what I expected. He inspected every inch of our house, our garage and our guest house. He treated each area that needed to be treated and came back to treat an outdoor hand rail for free (that was not included in the first bid.) He also came back for a thorough reinspection a year later. He was punctual, super friendly with a great work ethic. He educated me as he went along as well.
I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for an honest, reasonably priced service.

I read the other reviews and decided to give the The Termite King a try before painting my house. Tony came out and to my surprise he gave me a few options to treat my house that had not been tented in 25 years. I had quite a bit of damage in the fascia boards in the exterior of my house. He has a system that without tenting, he can do a preventative treatment they he believes strongly in. Basically if you are unhappy with the preventative treatment within 5 years he will use the cost of the treatment against your tenting cost. It seemed to be win /​win for me. Tony has worked in the past for large companies and he is now on is own. He was easy to work with and I believe him to be honest and trustworthy. I think you should at least get a quote from the Termite King before you decide to tent.

My wife and I were convinced we had termites in our living room floor, but after a very thorough FREE inspection, including spending a good chunk of time looking under our house, we were told that we didn’t have an infestation. The holes we had seen were likely remnants of previous termite damage that had just been covered up when the floors had been refinished and they were exposed again after normal wear and tear.
They could’ve easily told us we had a problem and charged us for work that didn’t need to get done, but instead were honest instead. That’s refreshing. And the next time we need an inspection we’ll definitely use them again.
Also, we called on a Tuesday afternoon — the answered right away and were out to do the inspection on Thursday. Prompt and professional.

I was surprised to find that this business was not on Unilocal.I cannot say enough good things about The Termite King.
We were forced to have a second fumigation after only 3 years of living at our house because apparently the first company we used didn’t do a good job. We had them back a year after to do a touch up spray after hounding them and long story short, we still had a termite issue. We decided that we had to just re-​tent the house and got a referral for The Termite King from a friend who had used them.
Tony was thorough and informative. I didn’t even know that fumigations come with warranties and that we should have had the first company come back and uphold their warranty, because we weren’t given one to begin with. The Termite King gave us a booklet of papers to help us know what to expect before and after the fumigation and let us know he’d be back to check on the property to make sure that we wouldn’t have another bad experience.
I know its not pleasant to deal with termites or go through a fumigation, but if you want to put your mind at ease, use this company. Very competitive costs and honestly just an overall nice guy to work with.
