I have knee and ankle pain to the point that I cannot walk and was recommended to Dr. Date by a friend. I called and was able to get in the next day. She helped diagnosis my condition and gave me multiple treatment options. She really goes into detail and thoroughly explains everything and answers all my questions. She gives me periodic knee injections to help with the inflammation. She is very friendly and accommodating. I can’t explain how grateful I am for her for helped me with my knee/​ankle pain. I highly recommend her for anyone with pain.

I have myelopathy and horrendous unremitting nerve pain in my neck radiating down both arms – accompanied by numbness. Moreover, I am hypereflexic and have had several osteoarthritis-​related surgeries: triple cervical [neck] laminectomy with fusions, shoulder rotator cuff repair [from aggressively trying to reverse a frozen shoulder]. The frozen shoulder was due to holding my arm protectively due to the nerve pain. Several years ago I had a hip replacement and am due for another. Obviously I’m a mess. Elaine is the most competent and sensitive physician I’ve known. Beyond spending plenty of time with me each month, she has diagnosed problems other doctors failed to understand. She offers meds and injections, yet doesn’t push the latter like some physiatrists. Though there is no «cure» for my conditions, it’s helpful to know that I am care for by the best possible physician.

Elaine is one smart m.d., does amazing accupucture from an m. d no less, sorry I had low expectations and spends a good amount of time w/​each patient.
Someone recommended Sontag, but he was too long to get appt. and I heard Elaine trained him, kind of funny she trained Luci Linn Los Gatos
she’s good too but not as smart as Elaine.
