I paid $ 6.95 per blouse and expected quality dry cleaning from Lara’s. I brought in 9 simple tailored work shirts. They don’t have any frills or complicated pleats. Some of the shirts are 100% cotton, some are cotton/poly blands, and one is polyester. At pick up a few days later, they were clean, but not smoothly pressed. I didn’t see the smart creases I associate with a professional dry cleaning job. The cotton/poly blands in particular looked about they way they do when I wash and dry at home and get them hung up promptly. I would really like to save time and still look sharp at work. Maybe I’m out of step on prices, or maybe I should try laundry services rather than dry cleaning. All I know is that for $ 6.95 a shirt, and not even a good job done, I’ll go back to ironing.

Great, friendly service. Fast turn around time. A little on the pricey side, but great work. I took 2 pair of slacks and 1 tux shirt in: one needed the hem repaired, the other needed the pocket stitching repaired, both were dry cleaned as well, the shirt came out great, no stray creases. Tux = $ 3.95 Slacks = $ 6.95 each Hem Repair = $ 10 Pocket Repairs = $ 5 each

I have been a regular customer so many years now that the lady Grace has become a friend of mine. I like her service; she always works for her best. She is very responsible so she keeps the deadline on time if any. I also have become to like her consistency and honesty. Her alteration skills are so wonderful that I always have more than satisfactory results. Even though the case is rare, when I am not satisfied in any way with her service and tell her about it, she tries her best to meet my need at any cost.

Really rude service! She fixed something for me, and when I was looking it over, she said, «Can you just pay?» The repair also looked messy, and it was expensive. Lots of better options.

Great service, great value. I recently brought in 2 pairs of jeans, both regular hems, but one i wanted to have a thicker cuff so Lara pinned them up for me and told me how to make them match how they looked before hemming, so helpful. I brought them in on a wednesday and they were ready for me by saturday — can’t beat that! And all for about $ 20! Great friendly service and quality alterations.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I don’t ask for a rush very often, but when I do, its ready. Only recently started using alterations services and so far so good! Had a bunch of boys denim hemmed, a hole patched, and a couple skirts taken in. Very happy with the service.

I’ve been here a few times because it’s convenient for me since my company’s UPS mailbox is next door. The first 2 times it took them forever to find my clothes when I was picking them up. Once I asked for a rush order and paid extra for it but when I went to pick it up — which was a day later than I said I would — it still wasn’t ready. I was leaving the country the next day and really needed them. She said she could do it right then so I left and came back, very inconvenient. I still went there once more, because it’s just such a darn convenient location for me. I paid in advance for something and it was the lady’s daughter that took the payment and wrote on the ticket that I paid the whole thing. However when I went to pick up my stuff, the lady was kinda rude and said it wasn’t paid. She kept insisting that I pay, but I couldn’t find the ticket with the note that I had paid and apparently it wasn’t recorded in their system. She finally let me go and I later found the PAID receipt in my car. Too bad it didn’t work out, such a great location for me.

Wow! Based on the reviews here, I was really expecting better service. Maybe they’re great dry cleaners(didn’t try that service) but I won’t go here for tailoring again. The first clue was the«dressing room» which was nothing more than a SMALL semi circle of space surround by a curtain. You’re literally a foot away from customers as you’re disrobing. Thank god I was having a blouse altered because if I’d had to bend over to change pants, SOMETHING would have been sticking out through the curtain for everyone to see. Then the person helping me(Lara?) only measured the back of the blouse that I was having shortened and now the front is way too short! What a waste of money. And speaking of money, when I went back to pick up my blouse I was told that she had made a mistake and I actually owed more money that was was on my receipt!!! I just paid it and walked away — for good! I’m going back to Nancy’s, where you get a more pleasant atmosphere, more skill, and room to change clothes. Oh, and the price doesn’t increase after the fact

Really good service, and a good job hemming my pants. Dry cleaning was efficient and well done. I would give her 4 stars, but because she doesn’t do all alterations/tailoring in her own shop, and sometimes has to send a piece out, I’m not really satisfied. I have a skirt I need some work done to that requires taking off the waist band and some other stuff, and she said she would have to pin it and send it out, unlike my jeans. So I didn’t really feel comfortable having someone who hasn’t even seen me in the skirt, try and tailor it to me. All in all, though, I’ll definitely take my dry cleaning and easy hems here. She’s a peach! Oh, and if anyone knows of a true tailor, who can do a bigger job, email me please!

They do such a great job, and can have my stuff back really fast if I need it. And I love that Lara always remembers my name so I don’t have to always tell her how to spell it! Very happy with their service!

I’ve been to many a cleaner/tailor combo, and this one is great. conveiniently located on El Camino(and near my house) great hours and most importantly they do a great job cleaning! prices are normal and standard, but they got a huge ketchup stain out of some light colored pants of mine, and tailored some pants for me perfectly! I was so pleased! the woman behind the counter(lara?) who is always there is so sweet and helpful. No unnecessary chatter, no trying to sell products, just prompt quick and polite service, and great results on my clothes. Yay!
