1. Hair
Bleu has an undeniable instinct when it comes to hair color. I was initially against any type of color besides black but bleu has turned me into a color addict! Every color he has given me from black, black blue, red, and browns always looks awesome. He is meticulous and doesn’t stop until you’re happy with his services. Not only is he a good colorist but he also knows how to hold an interesting conversation which helps when you’re getting the whole works on your hair.
2.Makeup
He has done wedding makeup for my cousin and her bridal party. Everyone couldn’t stop giving compliments on her makeup. And let me tell you, we don’t give out fake compliments. A couple of other brides to be even requested him for their wedding.
Bleu is affordable with high end salon results and worth the trip to Redwood City. So if you know what you want or have no idea, bleu is your go to man for hair and makeup.

I highly recommend Blue for hair (color/​styling) as well as makeup artistry and as a professional stylist. My career requires me to evolve fashion-​wise and continue to update my look. I can say without reservation that Bleu has been an integral part of my success.
I’ve been on camera (CNBC, ABC, TV20, etc) and admit that when Bleu did my hair and makeup I looked both elegant and professional on camera. He is worth every single penny. When I did my own makeup, it was a big mistake,-I didn’t look good AT ALL on film. My skin, hair and the colors I chose did not work well on camera and with the lighting. I regret having done makeup on my own to save time and money. Bleu understands lighting and the intricacies of makeup and video/​photography.
For fun, Bleu was my makeup artist, hair stylist and personal shopper for my birthday soirée recently. I rarely shop (as I’m a clothing SWAPPER) but he found a stellar outfit on sale.
All I did was show up at his place, and he had this stunning designer outfit ready for me to wear (a designer mini dress which I probably never would have tried on, but gave me a very daring and sexy look). He did my hair and makeup, and my friends still talk about how great I looked.
I also learned styling and techniques for dressing better with what I already have in my closet.
There are many good makeup artists and hair stylists our there. Yet Bleu has a talent and sensitivity, and can make a plain woman look like a movie star, on camera or off.
I really like his personality and style. He is always a pleasure to work over the past 4 years

The second visit to the salon was a disappointment, the color process left my hair very dry, and the result did not compliment my complexion, it’s unlike the last visit; Bleu offered complimentary toner, as much as I dislike the result, his time and effort is appreciated, therefore the three star review.

Recessionistas, listen up! Looking awesome without breaking the bank is the name of the game now and Bleu is the guy to give you just that. I just went and saw Bleu and loved my haircut. What makes him a 5 star is that it’s sooo affordable. He’s meticulous and has a great eye for detail.

Absolutely fabulous! I have been searching for the perfect stylist in the area for years and have not found one that meets expectations… until now! With his natural flair for style and knack of knowing what will look best on you, you will walk out a changed person. He really cares about his clients and it’s his mission to make sure they look and feel their best. Bleu is awesome! He has been coloring my hair for several months now, and it has never looked better. I have received lots of compliments. He is a perfectionist, definitely takes his time to get it just the way he wants. He listens to what you want but also suggests new things to try. Great!

When I grow up, I want to be a rock star, with a hot car and my own stylist…
OK, I’m never going to grow up, I may never be a rock star, and I’m still looking for that cool ride (uh, no, it’s not Muni), but I actually have a stylist. And he is AWESOME! Tres puts a lot of love into what he does, and he does it sooo well. He has been working on me for a little over a year now, and let me tell ya, he’s a magician. The last time we got together, he spent his afternoon turning me from a mess into a model; in addition to completely revamping my dried and dingy locks, he went and did my makeup, just because he’s cool like that. Later that evening I walked into the Hendrix tribute at the Masonic (read: Bro-​deo), and guys were seriously checking me out as I walked by. Being backstage was extra fun because the reaction there was even more pronounced. It was kind of weird… but I kind of liked it. Not to blow my own horn — it was all about the amazing job that Tres did to make me look beauteous. He’s super skilled, he’s totally inexpensive, he’s a real sweetheart. Check him out, you’ll be glad you did!

Bleu is amazing in each and every way! He does styling, color, makeup, and has this amazing fashion sense that never ceases to amaze. Did I mention that he is amazing?
Besides just being a joy to be around in and of himself, you will always walk away from your time with Bleu looking great. I have neverseen someone put so much thought and care in to beauty. He lives and breathes it. Annnd let it be known that my wavy curlier hair has never seen such amazingly slick straight days as its days with Bleu. This is not your quick in-​n-​out-​blow-​out, but something done with great care and skill. . if you get to experience Tres Bleu for any of you beauty needs count yourself very lucky indeed!
