Electric Tiger Tattoo

Great shop! We were walk ins, and Drew fit us in immediately. The prices were fair, the work was done in perfect time, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Drew executed my vision even better than I had hoped and even added some great suggestions. My boyfriends tattoo is exactly what he wanted, took little time, and delivered upon the straight forward minimal approach that he wanted. We will be back!!!

The guys at this shop were wonderful. Great artists and super nice guys. Went in for a quick and easy tattoo while on vacation, they accept walk-​ins, price was extremely fair and again, the artists were courteous. I will definitely go back when I’m in the area.

I was vacationing on the East Coast in Rehoboth Beach, DE and needed to have an old tattoo fixed and stopped at The Electric Tiger to have it done. I am so pleased with the job that Drew did for me. The original tattoo that I had on the back of my neck was so horrible that something had to be done. I was not sure what would work or look good and Drew said that he would draw me up something that I’d love. I couldn’t give him enough credit for his awesome work. He did a dolphin for me that has great detail and color. I would certainly recommend Electric Tattoo for his work. The shop is easily located, clean and has several spacious tattoo areas. Thank you Drew for your wonderful work. Appointments are preferred, however walk-in’s are welcomed. I had to make an appointment as they are a busy and happening place. Well worth my wait!

My sister wants a finger tattoo. They informed us they don’t often don’t heal well and can take multiple sessions. They do guarantee their work, but we don’t live in the area. They didn’t want to take our money. We appreciated their honesty, and my sister will get her tattoo at home.

I have seven tattoos on my body. The three that are by far my favorites were inked by Ryan at Electric Tiger. Because all of my ink is black-​and-​gray, I like an artist who understands shading, and Ryan is a master. And when I hear what people pay for ink in DC and NYC, I’m even happier I got inked at the beach.

We are here on vacation. I decided to finally face my fear and get my first tatoo. My husband and I stopped in here the other night after leaving the boardwalk, and we talked with Drew. He told me to call today and so I did, he was able to fit me in, and it turned out beautiful!!!
We are moving here soon, and this is where we will be coming from now on!!!

Two of my GFs and I spent Memorial Day Weekend in Rehoboth last year and after admiring some of their work on new friends we met while we were there, we popped in this parlor on our way out of town.
We were greeted warmly and were all three able to get something that very same day. We all had the same artist, I wish I still had his card so I could give him a proper shout-​out… but he was awesome!
I’m currently in the process of planning my next piece and wish it were closer – I had such a wonderful experience here I would come back immediately if it were!

Totally recommend going to have your tattoo created here by Matt! He is freaking fabulous!

If you don’t mind waiting on an uncomfortable bench, this is a great place to go. I guess they compensate by leaving out a ton of magazines for you to look at. :) I got my first tattoo here. Very casual, yet professional environment with skilled artists. Matt was friendly, patient, and willing to work with us on the design we wanted. Gave good recommendations for the tattoo and it came out exact. He also clearly took a lot of effort to properly clean everything before & after. I would recommend this place.

Love the décor and antique tattoo items on display. Matt Elstone is always very accommodating and patient with clients. His artwork is top notch and he’s easy going! Love visiting every time were in town!

This was my second visit to Electric Tiger, and once again I was happy with the results.
My wife, and I visited a year ago to get our tattoos. Though we were both disappointed at first to find that the artist no longer worked there. That disappointment was short lived, as I had Drew the owner work on my new tattoo. He was fun to chat with, and I had no doubts in his work. In the end I was happy with how it turned out.
If you’re going on a weekend, especially during the summer, I would suggest calling ahead for an appointment. I got to walk in last year on a summer week day, but it’s still a good idea to call ahead.
I’m definitely going back again when I get my next tattoo, which will hopefully be next year. I also will suggest this place to my friends.

Let me start of by saying this place does have a good look from the outside — and you do see vintage tattoo art on the inside so it leaves you to have some faith in the place.
Once you get in there you realize that they’ve tried to cram as many artists into a tiny space. There was barely room to walk around.
I walk in and looked over the portfolios and wanted the owner to do my tattoo (my own design) however he was busy — and with that I was on my way out when the artist Desmond Mitchell insisted that he could handle it.
I had Desmond do my tattoo because he assured me that he was capable of doing the art that I had brought in along with assuring me that he would make sure I was happy with it — also the owner was around in the shop with other clients — so it gave me some peace of mind since he was the artist I wanted to go with in the first place.
Now that I’ve signed the papers and everything and he’s taken time to get the stencil ready, he sits me down in this raggedy folding chair — when there were other spots with legitimate spots for tattooing available. In hindsight this should have been the final straw — but since the kid insisted and he already put in some work — I have him the benefit of the doubt.
At the end of the day — he gave me a break after the lines were done — then another in between coloring it in.
When he claimed he was «done» I went to the bathroom to use the mirror and it was colored all crazy and you couldn’t see half the colors in the tattoo.
I mention this to him and he said «I’m done I’m already breaking down my equipment» So another artist comes up and doesn’t even look over and said «yea it’s done» trying to be intimidating.
I continue to insist that he fixes it and he won’t so now the owner comes and demands that I just leave — At this point I’m so frustrated that I know if I stay I’ll end up getting dragged into a mess that ends up bad for everyone.
So I leave and I make sure to give the tattoo time to heal and see what it really looks like when it’s done. The coloring is horrible — the shading is done without any knowledge or skill on how to do a tattoo.
Several parts where some of the color bled over the lines along with over filling some points and disregarding a complete other part — uneven filling and shading — so many issues, however nothing that cannot be fixed.
I will have this tattoo fixed by a very reputable local artist to me and will then post before and after pics and the proof will be clear cut.
Thank God that the extent of their mistakes isn’t something that cannot be fixed. Please people if you cherish your body and the work that you out on it, do not let these guys come close to you with a needle.
DO NOT GO HERE — THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFFS AND WON’T HONOR THEIR WORD!!!

This place is a cool little beach tattoo shop, I got my work done by Matt, I came in light night with an idea for a tat, Matt traced it up and added some flare of his own. houw and a half later BOOM! Sick tat, Matt knows his shizz, true blacks greys and light areas, and since the year + since I have had it the colors are as true as ever. Matt promised to touch up his work for free as long as I have it, which might be a while :). Thanks Electric Tiger!

I find it hard to believe that I am your first review. Well as with all of my tattoos I get them when vacationing. Because of that it is difficult to find someone you trust. They were not my first stop but the folks here instantly put me at ease. They’re professional and reasonably priced. They were able to draw up custom artwork to my exact specs. Very happy! Only draw backs were I was there for 4 hours and they were very crowded in a small place.
