This is an update to my previous post. Returned on a spare of the moment decision to get away. After our last stay and the experience of sleeping on a horrible mattress, we anticipated the same so I purchased a gem foam mattress topper. However, this time we would not have needed it. The mattress in this condo was perfect. As mentioned before all condos are privately owned and vary in condition and décor. This stay we are in 710. Along with the murphy bed, all the furniture is updated in good condition and comfort. Also to update, the cleanliness was very good as well, no issues. The TV was placed in the middle of the balcony windows which made it visible from all areas, opposed to our last stay where the TV was on the shelf next to the bed, you couldn’t watch TV from bed if you wanted to and also had to have the murphy bed up in order to view from an angle. So when viewing the rooms online, you might want to consider where the TV is located for your preference. Now for the update on the Wi-Fi connection. They rectified their issue and it works very well. I can’t get a connection from the balcony due to structure issues, but not a big issue, worked great from in the room. Highly recommend The Star of the Sea for a beachfront vacation. Being higher up on the 7th floor also lessens the noise from the boardwalk below which isn’t that loud to begin with. Aaaahhhhh the sound of the waves. Front desk staff as usual is friendly and helpful. It does get a little crazy trying to «move in» when all guests are coming around the same time(check in 2 pm) trying to get luggage carts/bins and get on the two elevators. But once you’re settled in, relax and enjoy.
