I happened to be passing by DeVons and wanted to see if by chance they were able to change the battery on my Bulova watch that had just recently died. I had the pleasure of being helped by Darrin Cody. He made for a wonderful experience and was very helpful, knowledgeable about watches, and also very personable. Based upon Darrin’s help and my overall experience I will definitely be a return customer at DeVons and will be looking to purchase my next watch here. If you’re looking for a nice watch go see Harry Weis! He was very friendly, extremely knowledgable and worked out a fair price. I probably asked a couple hundred questions and he was extremely patient. They are not pushy salesman but rather complete inform there customer to make an educated purchase. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been searching for the perfect watch for myself for quite a few years now. Initially, I thought I wanted an Omega. However, I had purchased my husband a Rolex Submariner and couldn’t get past the «Rolex» look and name recognition. I knew if I was going to spend my hard earned money on a watch, I wanted it to be the perfect one! After visiting DeVons at the Summit in Reno and talking extensively with Darrin Cody, I knew I wanted a Rolex! From the minute we walked in the door to the time I found the perfect watch for me, Darrin was professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. At first, I thought I wanted a watch they did not have in their store, so Darrin ordered it from another store in California and called me when it came in. A week later my husband and I went to the store to try on the watch and I just didn’t «feel» it. Darrin was more than accepting and proceeded to show me some different watches I might like better. Ultimately, I picked a Rolex with a bigger dial which suited my wrist and personality perfectly! I am IN LOVE with my watch and know I will treasure it forever! Darrin went out of his way to make sure he was working on the day we scheduled to come in and made our buying experience extraordinary. When purchasing a piece of jewelery this expensive and meaningful, it is a must to have outstanding customer service. Darrin is the epitomy of exceptional customer service and made our buying experience one that was fun, relaxed, and personal. I first visited DeVons with a friend who wanted to get his Rolex watch serviced and the crystal polished. My friend received his watch back several weeks later looking brand new and the salesperson, Darrin Cody (also the assistant manager) could not have been more helpful and kind. On that trip I noticed a pair of opal earrings set in gold with small diamonds. I have been looking for gold earrings for awhile and I had never purchased expensive jewelry before. I thought about the earrings all summer and when I returned to DeVons in September, I decided to buy the earrings and the pendant that matched. Darrin again was our salesperson and he discounted the earrings and pendant, gave us jewelry cleaner, boxes and cases. I loved the earrings and pendant and Darrin told me to wear them and enjoy them, which I did. A short time later, the chain for the pendant broke and I thought I lost the pendant, however, my friend found the pendant, but the chain was lost. I called Darrin and he said to come to the store and although he would be on vacation, he would leave a chain for me. He left two so I could choose which one I preferred. The next week, the clasp on the earrings broke, and when I called again, I was told to bring them in. The jeweler was there and he fixed the earrings. I was thrilled because I live in South Lake Tahoe and it would have been a week or two if they sent the earrings in for repair and it’s not the shortest trip to Reno. Then last week I noticed one of the opals in in the earrings had a crack. I called Darrin today and he said just to come in and he would take care of me. I went to DeVons and he told me he already ordered a new pendant that was on it’s way. When I explained it was the earrings, he said they had another pair of earrings and I could exchange the ones I had for those. He told the woman helping me to just write that the earrings were defective. I cannot be more satisfied with this store, which is employee owned and definitely goes above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction. Prices are reasonable for a high end jewelry store, the employees are very helpful, and the service is extraordinary. I cannot praise DeVons Jewelers in Summit Sierra more highly.

I had a very good experience here. I brought in a price of jewelry I didn’t know how to clean. they cleaned it and gave me a lesson on how to care for my necklace. I was given a polishing cloth at no charge. I saw a cute pair of earrings. I tried the on and bought them.
