Love Jampro! My husband, 5 y.o. son, and I all take lessons here and we think the teachers are excellent. I am a classically trained pianist and longtime jazz sax player who decided it would be fun to learn electric guitar. I also have a full-time job, family, etc., so don’t have hours to practice each week(I wish). My teacher totally«gets» the situation and keeps the experience fun and no pressure. My drummer hubby feels the same way about his instructor. I can’t say enough good things about my son’s voice and drum teachers– they keep it totally fun for him as well and he is tremendously excited to go every week. Virginia, the manager is awesome and has been more than accommodating to make the logistics work for us all three to have our lessons at the same time.

We have had a very good experience with Jampro. When we first toured their building, we were pretty impressed at how modern and well laid out the classrooms were. They have a nice stage for performances in the back too. Our little girl has taken guitar lessons here for a little over a year, as well as she tried voice lessons too. All of the instructors have been very professional and kind. We really like that they do recordings throughout the semesters to show their progress. We also enjoy the free workshops they put together on the weekends. It seems like they have a lot of famous music groups stop by here too, which is really fun!

Love this place. I take my 2 year old to their music class and she loves it. The teacher is great and the kids have a lot of fun.

Let me ask you a few questions… Would you believe that there’s a 10,000 square foot facility in South Reno that has a staff of masters level musicians with performance backgrounds that provide instruction on guitar, piano, voice, and stringed instruments in 11 monitored and sound proof practice studios? Would you believe in the same 10,000 sq ft. facility there’s a full scale production studio complete with top of the line computers, mixing and sound boards, and an isolation room to record vocals? Would you believe that in that same 10,000 sq. ft. facility there’s a 500 person capacity theater with a performance stage decked out with state-of-the-art lights, smoke, and sound that’s used to host special events and provide student bands with the real deal experience of playing before a live audience? What about if I told you they also had a full scale production lab where you can learn how to produce music and even learn how to DJ on the best digital turntables available? And last but not least, would you believe me if I told you they also have a music retail store with everything you could possibly want or need, including exclusive brands of effects pedals and other equipment? Welcome to Jampro Music Factory. This is seriously a place like no other, with no detail spared, and a passion for providing the best music education experience you can imagine. Close your eyes and picture the quintessential Hollywood recording studio, complete with wood floors, beautifully decorated walls, and big open windows to see what’s going on, and that’s what you’ll find at Jampro. To me it seems like the new businesses that have opened in the last year have really done a lot to elevate the standards of our community. From bars and restaurants, to our local farmers and artisans, and everything in between. It seems like each week I learn about one more business adding to this momentum, and this past week, it was Jampro Music Factory. Thanks to Robert and Ly S., their Unilocal photos, check-ins, and reviews, I now know what it’s all about and I can’t wait to return!

A friend of mine invited me to come check out JamPro because my daughter loves music and plays the piano and violin. Not having heard of them before, I first investigated them on the internet, and checked out their webpage. Then, I came in for a tour, not really knowing what to expect. What a refreshing and exciting place! I have not been able to stop telling everyone I know about this amazing venue for kids of all ages to come and learn about any instrument of interest; piano, guitar, ukelele, strings, winds, horns, drums, and now a marimba! If you want to learn it, let them know and they’ll do their best to make it happen! The staff, the studios, and the stage set up a fantastic environment that seems to get everyone excited about learning to sing, play, or produce a high quality performance! Their programs coincide with the Washoe County School calendar, so lessons are easy to line up with your child’s schedule. They can pro-rate, so it’s not too late to start! They offer music camps during school breaks and throughout the summer. They also offer ensemble lessons for kids to experience group play. It seems the learning opportunities here are endless, so if you have suggestions, bring them. My daughter, as of late, expressed an interest in the steel drum. If she’s serious, it will be fun to see them rise to that challenge! In the meantime, take a tour for yourself, and tell them Ly’ sent you!

Love this place. I have never seen anything like it. They have tons of high quality sound proof rooms, a performance stage and space that beats most local small venues, a decent selection of musical instruments, production studio where classes can be taken in computer music production, and customer service that can’t be beat. They have a nice little place where parents can chill while their kids are doing their lessons as well. It seems that no little detail has been missed on getting this business off the ground in the best way possible. We were turned onto this place by a fellow parent on our daughters soccer team. They told us to go and check it out and we are glad we did. They have guitar, piano, voice, violin and many other lessons available here. They run camps too. Asking my daughter on what she would include her response was…“The teachers are really friendly and are good at teaching kids!” Currently we have her in voice, piano and violin lessons. And if I had the time(and the money) I would enroll in a class for myself. I’m sure there are places where they can improve, but I just haven’t experienced that yet. Of course we will be going back, hopefully for years to come.
