Java Ship Coffee

When ever I’m in town they are the first thing I look forward to! And the girls who run it are such dolls :) and the drinks are all bomb can’t go wrong anything you pick will surely satisfy any cravings

Love this truck! I can find her around town and she comes directly to my work! Hook an IV up! Her drinks are all delicious and she has the most creative specials!

My first time here was a few weeks ago when I attended Feed the Camel at McKinley Arts Center. Melissa from Mellow Yellow suggested I give it a try. I went to JavaShip and decided on the Double Hawaiian which is basically a slush with ice cream added to it then topped with condensed milk. I couldn’t decide on a flavor and the owner suggested mint even though it sounds weird. I gave it a try and was really impressed. I have been craving another one ever since. Wow, what a refreshing dessert this turned out to be.

The ladies who run this truck are awesome! The woman who helped my husband and I was so friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned with how we felt towards their beverages. They have a good selection of drinks from coffees to shaved ice and Italian soda. I wish I could have tried more things on their menu; they all looked so delicious. My husband and I both got the Captain’s Special. It was $ 3.50 or $ 3.25 (I can’t remember!) It’s a scoop of vanilla ice cream with two shots of espresso poured over it. The espresso was so tasty! Whatever kind of coffee, they use, it is delicious! The vanilla ice cream made the espresso creamy; they went well together! I was surprised how good it was actually! I’ll definitely be back to Java Ship, to see what other great drinks they have! I hope to catch them around town or at a food truck event soon.

Not only do these girls show up more places in a day than Superman, but they do it with style! From new creations to old classics Java Ship has it going on! We cannot wait for our next event with them so we can truly get «geeked out» properly!
