I decided to revisit this location this morning. I figured after 6 months, and multiple bad reviews, they would have shaped up a bit. However this is not the case. I will say I am happy I at least got a receipt this time. When ordering, I had to repeat multiple times that I wanted the drink with out Ice and as a large. They kept putting it in as Medium and/or extra ice. I did not check the order when I received it as I was on my way to work. When I did get a chance to open it up I discovered I was given the wrong food, just like before. I ordered a number one, which is the egg mcmuffin, the one with had. I was given a sausage mcmuffin, the one that has just the cheese and the sausage patty. These items are not even really the same, so how can they be mistaken for eachother? Not to mention I will not eat the sausage, so I threw it out. I was out breakfast and money this morning. completely unacceptable.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this location. My fries are either burnt or raw. I’m disappointed almost every time I come here and order fries. Also have been given the bits and pieces of the end of the bag. There French fries are awful!!!

If you ever want ice cream don’t bother coming to this McDonald’s. Their ice cream is always«out» Whatever that means. So I guess their ice cream machine has been broken for the past 10 years. Every time I go there in the evenings they’re ice cream machine is supposedly broken. Other than that it’s just a convenient 24 hr McDonald’s for the North Valleys

This is the 3rd time I’ve taken my kid to this McD’s and the ice cream machine has been broken! What’s the deal with that? I only go to McD’s every couple of months and this is the closest one to where I live and to my kids school! Sometimes as a treat on Friday I take him someplace that he really wants to go and it’s usually McD’s and today was a special ice cream day for us but once again for the 3rd time the machine is broken. I ordered Nuggets and ice cream and the guy at the register turned to a lady and said, «Is it working?» She replied, «Nope!» I mentioned this being the 3rd time and they just laughed kind of nervously. We bolted out the door and my kid was crying! The real issue with this McD’s is the traffic from all the local schools! We could not get out of our parking spot! People would not let us out and the small parking lot was jammed packed! It was dangerous and a lady almost crashed into a guy. I almost side swiped a car on my way out! They really need to do something about this mess. Reno PD should be there pulling people over for using the parking lot as a raceway! I’m done with this McD’s…off to Wendy’s!

The person at the cash register didn’t speak English so it took quite awhile to place our order! They need somebody on the cash register who speaks and understands English! They also took my favorite burger the grilled onion cheddar burger off the menu. It needs to be brought back. I can’t wait to go back to California where they still have it! I don’t plan on going back to this location again!

May 25, 2015 Monday at 8:30AM Breakfast 2 Adults Atmosphere — n/a Food — 3 stars Service — 3 stars Background — This McDonald’s serves has one purpose for me. This is an easy quick fix for a car trip. Atmosphere — Drive thru so not rating them. Food Drinks — Large mocha, caffeine for the car ride to Sacramento. I flipped the plastic notch to get my first sip and all I could see was the syrup sitting on top. Food — This is one of my guilty pleasures, the sausage egg mcmuffin. Two for $ 3.33. Yeah they are bad but I love them. Today the cheese was melted, okay very melted but it was not in the sandwich correctly and it was a mess as it stuck to the paper wrapper. Service — The second drive thru window the server did not say a single word. How strange and boarder line rude. But the best part was seeing the employee walking around in a Pikachu hoddie with crazy ears attached to the hood. Future — Sadly but probably.

Usually the staff is fast and friendly. However lastnight we went through the drive thru and not only were the employees rude but they left our bag of food on the counter for 5 minutes while they made the next order. All she had to do was hand it to us. Even though we live right around the corner, our food was cold when we got to eat it.

This McDonald’s never gets my orders right and they take Forever to give me my food. I only go here because it’s nearby and I have hopes it will someday improve

They ALWAYS screw up my order and they must have the slowest drive thru in the history of fast food.(Waiting at the window for over 3 minutes just to pay, and an additional 8 – 10 minutes waiting for my food. It wasn’t busy inside or in the drive thru. The only positive I have to say is that usually the attitude and kindness of the staff members is noted, I just wished the rest of the service didn’t stink so bad.

We all know McDonald’s is what it is. Don’t expect to be wow’d. But this one seems to have a severe problem with fresh food. I ordered a fish filet and the darn thing was so old it had actually deflated. The fish was gone inside the patty. I hope people there can at least put their min wage earning effort into the food! At least that would be edible.

I came here with my brother, son and step father. It’s McDonald’s after all however the service was good even though the girl was brand new and the food was actually really good and fresh for any McDonald’s.

I wouldn’t say this is the best McDonalds in town, but it’s not the worst either. I generally don’t have issues with the service here and the restaurant is usually clean and presentable. Though our house is closer to this location, if we’re planning to go in, sit down and eat especially with our kids in tow(and really, do you go to McDonalds without kids in tow?), we always go to the Lemmon Valley location. It’s a larger restaurant, for one. Still, this location has a more than adequate drive thru for those quick stops and take out opportunities. I’ve never had trouble with my order or with the employees understanding me(and vice versa). My biggest caveat may be the traffic flow here. It is confused at best and downright dangerous at worst. Trying to turn left out of the lot onto Silver Lake can at some times be downright impossible.

These people never get my order right… literally never, there’s always long lines but not because their a good restaurant but because people 5 cars ahead of you have been there for 15 minutes waiting

Jane is spot on about this place. If you speak English head up the road to the other McDonald’s. I have ate here a few times and every time the experience gets worse. Worst McDonald’s in Reno by far.

These people are slow. The slowest McDonalds by far. They cannot speak English well. Every other time I’m there my order is wrong and I have to get it fixed. I can’t understand what they are saying most the time. All of the workers speak mostly Spanish and very little English. Everytime I go back and see a new employee I think«Oh great, maybe this one speaks English!» Sadly, I am let down because once again they do not understand me, I do not understand them and my order is all wrong. Now let me state I’m not prejudice and I’m all about giving people a chance. I do believe Americans need to learn more than 1 language in school and I think the borders should be «open» without discrimination, but I wish they would hire competent people at McDonald’s that at least know the language enough to take an order. I have many other complaints dealing with their hiring practices, but for some reason Unilocal took it down, so I guess I can’t tell you. The food is also cold and the fries are over-salted and cold. I try to avoid this place like the plague. I go 1 exit over for better service in Lemmon Valley.
