We had an emergency with our septic tank with drains backing up in the house. I called Gary in the morning and he was able to come out within hours, pumped the tank, cleared the clog between the house and the tank and got us back in working order. Gary’s prices were also very, very reasonable. We would highly recommend him.

Gary is AMAZING. My septic tank alarm went off and I wasn’t sure why. Called him the next day and he came that afternoon to check things out. He was able to empty the tank, diagnosis an issue, and call a buddy of his who could help me fix the floaters. I had no clue what I was doing but Gary helped me through the process and made me feel very comfortable. He’s a reliable guy and has reasonable pricing. I will always go to Gary if I ever need anything involving my septic tank.

Woah nellie! What is that smell? Went downstairs to find raw sewage in my tub, toilet and all over the floor. ACK! The next morning I called Pete at Alberta but his truck was broken down so he told me to call Gary. I called Gary and he was at the house by 1PM. YAY! He had an immediate feeling about what was wrong but did all the proper testing anyways. We had to pump the tank(it had to be empty) to make a proper diagnosis but it ended up being the right diagnosis. And the tank needed to be pumped to fix the problem, too. It turns out the intake for the tank was all plugged up. But guess what? The only access to the tank was over the outlet side. Some idiot decided it was a good idea to pave over the other side of the septic tank and build a second story deck over it. Well clearly the intake side of the tank hasn’t been inspected or serviced for mumblefuck number of years and I’m the poor sap who just bought the place. Somehow it passed inspection anyways. That’s enough digression… back to Gary. I couldn’t find a sledge hammer ANYWHERE so this poor man had to drive that big ass pumping truck back to his place to get a sledge and then come back to break up the concrete, dig out the dirt and open up the other side of the tank. Which he managed to do very quickly, I might add. He snaked and flushed that drain, tested everything, we ran the water in all the house fixtures… all good. Wow. What a tough and smelly job. Seriously. If there is such a thing as hell, it’s got to be a big concrete box filled with a soupy mix of decaying crap, hair balls, slimy bum wipes and enough methane to kill you in about 60 seconds if you happen to fall in. The bill? $ 375 for the pump, $ 75 to sledge out the concrete, clear the drain and test everything. $ 492 including tax. That is money WELLSPENT as I had spent 18 hours having intimate relations with one of those orange Home Depot buckets. Now if only Gary cleaned bathrooms! Just kidding… I know I can’t let him have ALL the fun. I know I have to go clean up that mess, but I can’t really consider writing this review procrastination. Indoor plumbing is under-rated until you have shit water all over the floor, no way to wash the nasty towels to clean it up and you can’t take a shower or flush your poop either. Thanks Gary! You are my HERO!
