Giovanni’s Pizza

Took over two hours for delivery. I called twice both times they told me it was on its way. A simple «we are sorry for the delay» would have gone a long way. Pizza was ok but their customer service is terrible.

Arrrghh, my worst nightmare. Hungry on a Thursday night towards the end of a work week and decided to give them a try with delivery. Website says they deliver in 40 – 50 minutes (what ever happened to 30 min delivery?! wtf!). I’m just destroying a bag of pretzel chips trying to hold off until they arrive. An hour goes by, I call. «he’s on the way.» I call again after another 10 minutes. And I can’t make this up, «i’ll take a couple dollars off your bill.» (mumbling). i’m like jesus, just bring the pizza. Dude finally shows up shortly after that, no apology, no explanation, just a vacant stare. its rare that I don’t tip someone, but the funny part he, he didn’t even flinch when I didn’t tip him. Of course, the final insult, the pizza is, I guess, expectedly, cold. Steer clear of this sorry place, fine yourself a better pizza joint.
