Came here for brunch. The menu has changed since I came last, my boyfriend always orders the French toast. The French toast is no longer on the menu. The owner offered to make the French toast since they has bread. My boyfriend and I were very thankful. The service was excellent!

it was our first time there. Great view… only thing is… it’s close to Ruston. the old Asarco plant… ring a bell? But for somewhere to grab a drink before seeing a movie or at the end of a good walk… it’s decent. The food… could use some help though. Calamari was good… just shouldn’t place crispy coated things on top of mayo goo… it takes away from the perfectly cooked calamari… and for those who didn’t want the goo. now you can’t wipe enough off of it. So we tried the flat bread… again…it was just so so… the white sauce was blasé’ and the crust less than spectacular. We looked at the fondue and we think we would have been disappointed too… we finally tried the clams and they were good. We’ll try it again when the sun comes out and we can at least get a tan with our cool drinks.

I mainly return to Wildfin for the Appetizer Tower, also available for happy hour. Unfortunately, other than happy hour, Wildfin is kinda pricey. One small slider for $ 5?! Come on now. Even the kind bartender agreed that it’s barely a bite. One and done. If a manager is reading this, know that 2 sliders for $ 5 is a great happy hour deal. Otherwise, who would order that again?

We came to WildFin on last Friday night and had a nice experience. I had made a reservation and they seated us right away. The staff didn’t exactly hover but they came by often enough and our waiter was quite friendly. Décor is very Ballard-esque, so that’s fun to see in Renton. We had the fondue appetizer which was so yummy! I had the halibut for my entrée(why? for the hell of it… sorry, couldn’t resist.) and really enjoyed it. Plenty of food! As others have mentioned they weren’t super fast, but if you’re not in a hurry it was a great little spot for dinner.

Tip: give yourself extra time, this takes longer than you think it will, especially if you thought you were going to catch that early movie… We came in for brunch on a Saturday. Chicken fried chicken is amazing: biscuits, country gravy with sausage it ham or something, fried chicken, bacon, sunny egg, and a side of the best grits I’ve had this far west. They were out of meat for burgers, so grilled chicken burger substituted. That looked good, it disappeared to fast for me to try it myself. Wildfin beers(brewed by Alaskan) are OK. Service was attentive and friendly, but a little slow given how empty the place was. The inside is a good layout, lots of comfortable booths and some large tables for groups. For pit on the patio outside looks like it would be useful in the summer. Good solid upscale mall food choice. Definitely the nicest place in the standard«red robin/p.f. changs» category.

Came here for a post Christmas family meal, despite not booking a table we were seated quickly on a busy Saturday evening. We ordered food and drinks and our wait began. We were chatting away and noticed tables around us being served that were seated after we were, then out of the blue the manager came to our table and told us that a mixup with our ticket had taken place in the kitchen and therefore our meal was on him! Well we were chuffed to bits at this and did not mind the wait at all. When the bill came our food and drinks were free of charge we were so pleased as we hadn’t even realised there was an issue. Thank you Wildfin for a lovely meal and great cocktails

Very disappointing experience. I got a gift card for Wild Fin from my work for Christmas, so my boyfriend and I decided to have a date night. We both ordered drinks(which were good I might add), and the french onion soup was amazing. I ordered steak and my boyfriend ordered the pasta dish with clams, shrimp, etc. One bite of the pasta and my boyfriend found sand in the clam shells and almost chipped his tooth. Needless to say, he was done eating after that. The service was very slow that night, and our waiter informed us they were very short staffed in the kitchen that night(Saturday night I might add.) Probably will not be back.

This was the day that I thought I’d try Wild Fin for breakfast. Ok, the service was great… friendly, and attentive to any need. They were on top of everything. However,… I ordered«The Classic»… which I don’t really recommend. It’s over priced(which I didn’t bother to check out when going over the menu) for what it is. Breaded potatoes??? Why? Bacon was ok, I wasn’t sure about that sausage thing in the middle… I did really like the English Muffin… paying for the wheat ingestion now. When I sat down they put a big old scone in front of me with some carmel butter. That didn’t appeal to me at all. They should have offered an alternative, like some fruit. I would have picked that instead. A tip to the restaurant… Tabasco and Tapatio are not good hot sauces. Especially when you are asking high prices for eating here. WildFin would do better to get, at the very least, Cholula, which has a great taste and isn’t overly salty or hot. «Bonache» is the best. I buy that for home because it is soooo great tasting and doesn’t over do it with salt or hot. The whole thing with tax and tip was almost $ 25. for one person. Looks like all the sit down breakfasts in the area are now this price. I won’t be going to those places for breakfast much in the future. Cheaper and better at home.

WildFin has two other locations in Tacoma and Issaquah. The majority of WildFin’s menu highlights local food and drinks sourced from the pacific northwest. Eating here definitely supports smaller local businesses. WildFin has an inviting, casual atmosphere and is quite spacious on the inside. I was with a party of three and on a late Friday night they were still pretty busy. We were seated directly. We all ordered different seafood focused dishes: Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo, Ahi Tuna, and Prawn & Scallop Scampi. Once the food finally arrived, we very much enjoyed it. My friend’s Ahi Tuna was amazing. The seafood was tender, melted in your mouth, and tasted as if it had just been caught earlier that day. The best out of the three was the Ahi Tuna, I would come back just for that dish. The service was friendly, but unfortunately very slow. We noticed that other tables were also having some server issues. The manager was also out on the floor trying to help. The good thing is that they recognized their service errors without us even saying anything. They also compensated for the issues and apologized. The food and atmosphere here was great, the service just uncertain. I also liked that they had a gluten free menu available upon request.

We ate here several times before. This time was with a large group of eleven to celebrate a Birthday. We had a 6pm reservation and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Our server handled the group well and she took care of us during our visit. Our food was cooked perfectly and all meals arrived at our large table at the same time. We enjoy coming to this area from time to time and walking around the various shops at The Landing. There is ample parking and a parking garage.

The first time I came here, I was underwhelmed and so very disappointed. The second time I came here I left underwhelmed, disappointed and pissed off I gave this place a second shot. The pricing is not proportionate to the food received, quality or service. Maybe this place is better as a lunch time option because the dinner fare is utterly overpriced and skimped on. I’d rather wait in line at Red Robin for an hour with screeching children. The first time I was there I ordered the fish and chips. Woefully lacking in flavor and laden with oil… clearly someone wasn’t trained in the art of frying. Fries were undercooked as well. Couldn’t find the server until the bill finally came. No asking how the meal was but commented that I didn’t finish the fish and chips. Told the server what was wrong and I swear, I was talking to a goldfish with the lack of blinking and failure to acknowledge my failure of a meal. Server nodded and took the plates away. I can’t remember what hubby ordered, but he was not happy and we had to go to Five Guys so he could get a grilled cheese. Hubby is a vegetarian and their vegetarian menu really seemed to rely on a vegetarian burger. FFS — *everyone* has a vegetarian burger, even Burger King has a vegetarian burger. We paid and left. We came back a year later thinking that we just had a bad night. No, same horrible food but we actually had excellent service. Food arrived cold and looked so uninspiring. Our server offered to get the manager, but we said no. We will pay because we were hungry and ate our cold, stodgy food. We insisted that the manager not be called and the manager wasn’t. Hubby ordered their vegetarian pasta… the sauce was gelatinous and the veggies all looked so sad to be swimming in the cold sauce. I had their house burger. We paid and left… dissatisfied…again. Moral of the story? We won’t be back again. Ever.

WOW this place was amazing for brunch. I’m a fan that it wasn’t so busy that it was impossible to get a seat, but based on their quality of food and service, it absolutely should’ve been packed. there were only a few other tables occupied, which allowed the server to give us plenty of attention, and not be rushing around from table to table. I had a crabcake bennedict and yum. yum yum yum yum yum. I could not get enough. Paired with my bloody mary from the build-your-own-bloody-mary bar… let’s just say i got my money’s worth by jam packing mine filled with bacon.

We’ll get straight to the point — WildFin is pitifully deceiving. I ordered the fall harvest salad, which was supposed to be tossed in a champagne dressing. With my first bite, I noticed there wasn’t even a drop of dressing. I thought, you must be kidding me… how does the kitchen forget to add salad dressing on a SALAD?! I told our server this and asked for a side of dressing. Five minutes later, the manager came to inform me that he would be removing the salad from my bill because they ran out of salad dressing. Ok, so what you’re telling me is, you were 100% aware you did not have dressing. But you expected me not to notice? Instead, the server should have offered me an alternative. Come on!

7 of us had lunch at WildFin on 7÷26÷15, Everyone enjoyed their meals and service was good. They do not offer a ton of options for those who do not like seafood, but the name of the restaurant is WildFin, so you should know what you’re getting into. I would eat there again.

We went at 5pm for dinner on a Friday, and it wasn’t too busy yet, besides in the bar area. Service was quick. Our Simply The Best Calamari appetizer came out fairly quick, and was delicious. We added a side order of fries, which was also good, and that seemed like it came out in less than a minute. We didn’t have to wait to long for our entrees either. We ordered the Mixed Seafood Grill and the Prawn and Scallop Scampi. Our waiter suggested that I can add fettuccine noodles to my Prawn and Scallop Scampi, which I did, and that was a wonderful suggestion! All the food was very tasty and beautifully-presented. The food is on the pricier side though, with smaller portions. And the customer service is awesome; they are attentive and friendly, and all help one another.

For some reason anytime my parents come to visit they want to come here, and I still can’t figure out why. Prime location in the middle of The Landing, right on the round a bout. Indoor and outdoor seating; with a fire pit outside. Inside is really spacious, looks like a pretty good sized bar. Service has always been good. But is it just me, or does the food not even sound that appealing? Everything has so much stuff on it flavor wise, so I guess if you’re looking to really spice things up then this is your place. I am a little more simple, and just would want like some salmon, potatoes and veggies, or something along those lines. And it seems rather expensive for the area it is in(competing with The Rock, Red Robin & Toreros). Today, my mom ordered the french onion soup, my dad ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered a caesar salad. Mom said the soup was good, dad said the fish and chips were pretty bland. On the menu it does not say anything about adding a protein to your caesar salad, so I would’ve done that and added some salmon if I had known about it ahead of ordering. Might have taken some of the sogginess away, the salad was absolutely drenched in dressing. Personally, I won’t come back(unless the fam is in town and I have to). I would rather go down the street for some fish and chips at Ivars for a reasonable price, and a larger portion size. A little too fine dining for my tastes, but it might be perfect for yours!

We waited an eternity to be seated because no one was bussing tables. It took an eternity for drinks to arrive. My napkin had a stain. The paper menu was dirty. The food took an ETERNITY to arrive. The cajun taco barely had any fish — see photo. Potato was dry and burnt. The table next to us when we left was STILL unbussed when we left, just as when we arrived. It’s extremely overpriced, even if it tries to pretend to be high end Renton(lol).

I’ve only gone in twice for lunch & each time I got the WildFin Chowder, it’s delicious. The server was extremely nice both times & the food came quickly. The atmosphere is quiet & calm(during the week) & it’s definitely the nicest restaurant to eat at for the location it’s in.

We have been here a few times and have enjoyed it every time. Today we stopped in for lunch and were greeted and seated promptly by the hostess. I ordered a elderflower martini which I enjoyed — nice and sweet but not too flowery. The drink prices are steep at $ 9.50 for a martini. I believe the beers are $ 5.50. I had 2 blackened fish tacos for lunch and it was just enough food. I like how you can order as many or as little as you want for $ 4.25 each. The food tasted fresh and came on a grilled tortilla. My fiancé ordered the Mac n cheese with bacon and prawns. It was amazing but very rich. He could only eat about half but it will make nice leftovers.
