Faye was amazing… I will admit I was frightened to have someone new cut my hair. I am so glad I took a chance, I knew as soon as she spoke that she was the real deal. My hair is very long to my waist and it was important to me to put some style back in it without sacrificing too much length. She totally got it and did a fabulous job, exactly what I want to the tee. Loved her confidence it made me feel totally comfortable, and she smelled great (forgot to ask what she was wearing, it was fabulous!) too! So happy to find someone great so close to home! Can’t wait to go back for some color soon!

Thanks to Unilocal I found this salon. Great service and very professional. I came here with my Mom. We both were very satisfied with the service. Fay helped us understand what needed to be done in terms of what we wanted out of our hair – we were both hesitant initially on getting highlights. But so glad we did. Rest of the staff is also great. Very friendly and professional!

I’ve been coming to Fay for years. She is extremely talented and knowledgable. I’ve always left Best Cuts with exactly the hair that I want. The deep conditioning treatment offered is amazing, my hair comes out luxurious, shiny and it always last for at least a few months. I get my hair cut by Fay, but everyone on her staff is equally professional and talented.

Came in today for color and highlight and let me tell you… this place is a true jewel of Reseda! I moved to Sylmar from Anaheim and needed to find a salon I can trust and low and behold… I found it! With the help of my daughter… I asked her to call around and see i can get an appt since it’s Sunday. either places close early or they’re just close. My daughter spoke to several salons thou and this is the one she picked cause she said «the person I spoke to is really nice!» So off I go and checked the place out. Faye was AAAAMAAAAAZZZZING!!! and the lady that was assisting her with my hair (forgot her name). She asked me what I wanted and all I said was color and highlight… don’t exactly know what color. .I don’t have a picture to show but all I know I wanted to go lighter. And after all that if I could get a trim. OMG!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HAIR!!! My experience in this salon was beyond great… everybody made sure I was comfortable and we’ll taken cared of… and did I mention I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HAIR!!! I think. no no no… I mean I KNOW this is the best hair color /​highlight/​cut I’ve ever gotten in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! I definitely recommend Faye .she’s sooooooo cool… very down to earth. .so easy to talk to… this is the first time I met her and I just have this good vibe with her… such a positive lady. Sorry but I have to say it again… I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HAIR!!! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!

I went to get my hair cut for the first time and I’m really happy with the result. I went from long hair to short hair for the first time.
One thing though, I had a diamond necklace on and during the hair cut, she accidentally cut it. It was very sentimental to me. I recommend for everyone to take off their necklace off before. That part sucks… Deep down I really wanted the scream but she was really sweet.

I went in Sunday for a dye and haircut she worked with me very well. I haven’t don’t my hair for months so I had roots and damaged her and fye explained to the whole process and worked the color that i exactly wanted. I’ve been getting so much complements on my hair. She does an amazing job.

I have very difficult hair. My hair is black naturally curly actually frizzy dry hair with lots of red tones. I have always wanted blond hair and Faye was the only one who did it. I have been going here for a few years now and Faye is great. Many times I didn’t like the orange tones that come because I have such deep natural red tones that turn orangish when I go blond. Faye ALWAYS fixes it till I am happy with it and does not charge me. She won’t even let me tip her! I started coming there because my daughters best friend mother in law works there and I have been in love with the place since then. I am writing this review because I read the review from the woman with the Groupon coupon who wanted purple hair. I am sure Faye told her more then the color wouldn’t be as vibrant. Faye always tells me when I want blonder hair how it is damaging. She is always honest and fair. I recommend Faye to anyone she is great.

Today was my first time going to Best Cuts. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the salon. However it took them along to service me because they thought I was with another family. After they realized that I wasn’t with the other party, they gave me the most sincere apologies. My cut came out amazing and was given a complimentary blow dry for the wait. Definitely recommend this place. I am extremely happy with my cut and style!!!

I was recommended to come here by my cousin and I can honestly say it was 100% worth it! If you are looking for the «best cut» this is definitely the place you want to go. Everyone on staff is so nice and wonderful and I’m so thankful to have had my hair done here.

Love the bubbly personality of the hairstylist. I had an end layer haircut, to give my hair some shape and volume, but still keep my length. I was worried at first when I saw how long she was cutting but at the end she gave me the cut that I wanted! there were two of them drying my hair and I felt very pampered. I will recommend her any day! Haircut was $ 25, blow dry was $ 20. Very happy!

Wish there was a zero star option. Was there a few a months ago and she did a great job at cutting my hair. However, at my return with my daughter for a hair cut for both I was insulted by Faye’s uncalled for reaction and allegations of us having lice eggs. She dyed my hair a color I didn’t want and didn’t give me the chance choose either, didn’t dry it, didn’t cut my child’s hair, treated my child as if she was contagious, and still had the nerve to overcharge me. Upset, of course I went to another salon where both of our heads were checked by multiple stylists and with no surprise we DID NOT have lice Or lice eggs. And yes my daughter got a beautiful hair cut by them. Will NOT be going back to Faye. It’s no wonder why it always so lonely in there.

I’ve just moved in Winnetka and looked for a hair salon which is good but not expensive. I just gave Faye a try. I told her I wanted to keep my hair long while do layers and color it. She didn’t let me to color my hair because as she said my black eyebrows would against the light brown hair. She recommended me to do highlight and she guaranteed to give me a very sexy hair cut as well. I trusted her and let she done whatever she thought should be. Wow, she made my boring hair style be different, the highlight is very natural from the inside to outside. I paid $ 145 totally. I’m so happy with it.

OHMIGOD FAYE! My nieces hair looks beautiful!!! Thank you. When she told me you did her hair I had to post from Atlanta! She is extremely happy with it! I will be home next week to get my usual! She looks fantastic!

Its hard to find a place where you always get a good haircut. Getting a bad haircut can ruin me for half a month… I NEVER need to worry about that here. This place is great! Faye, the owner, makes it fun and she selects her staff carefully. Highly recommended.

Tabatha needs to come in here and take over and help readjust everything, including Faye’s attitude. Never again! I purchased a Groupon to this place for a haircut, deep conditioning treatment, color, partial highlights and style. What I got was a whole lot of attitude and what the hairstyle is referred to as «Groupon Groupie» treatment. I showed her a picture of the hair color that I wanted. She told me that it wasn’t possible since the picture was taken at a certain lighting. I understand that it wouldn’t be as vibrant but never did I expect you not have the same hair color. I also showed her a picture of a hairstyle that was done on the previously, no problem she said she could do it. At the end that hair color and the haircut didn’t look like the pictures, but she kept trying to convince me that it did– you be the judge. The picture on the left is the hair cut I wanted and The bottom left corner is the color that I wanted. I ended up with the picture on the right.
What a «Groupon groupie» means around here, is a customer that goes wherever there’s a group on deal. She was trying to accuse me of doing so and that either way Groupon customers never come back. She also warned me that whenever businesses offer a Groupon they usually do services of lower quality since they will never come back anyway. I told her that customers do recognize that and if the business owners intention is to retain customers that would never work so what’s the point.
I purchased a Groupon for Ninongs in Granada Hills and ever since then it’s been my favorite place to go. You should check it out! I used a Groupon and the owner had a smile the whole time and made me feel welcomed, maybe Fay should take some notes. I found Jessica over at Zen nails in Sherman Oaks like that, since then I’ve found my nail girl! So Faye, my suggestion to you is if you don’t like paying Groupon 50% and you’re going to treat a customer like if they’re asking or begging for a free service, don’t use them! Simple, problem solved. There was so much tension the whole time I just wanted to get out. Now my hair looks terrible and uneven. She cut one side shorter than the other and explained to me that that was «the style.» Sorry, uneven is not «the style» I asked for and then she accused me of showing her a picture that did have that «uneven look» and I should have told her how I wanted it. UHM, I’m not a hairdresser– I wanted what was in the picture. I let the pictures do the talking.
Sadly, even her regular customers would come in and say hi and smile at her, funny because I caught her rolling her eyes and using that fake friend high pitched I’ve been missing you tone. They don’t use coupons, why the attitude? Basically regular paying or Groupon, with so many other options forget about this place! Now I hate my hair cut and The color is nothing like I wanted it. :(
She suggested that I find a hair dresser and please stick to her, not go from place to place. First off, you may suggest that if you are paying for it, secondly, my original hairdresser of 8 years moved to Antelope Valley. Don’t worry about me, worry about why your business is on Groupon.

This place has become my favorite hair cut place, im a guy so I don’t need much styling and other things like the girls, but what I really like is how Faye treats her customers. She is such a happy friendly and professional styler. She always ask about family how they’re doing and makes compliments everytime about my loved ones on how beautyful they are ;-).

Been back here twice (last Saturday and today 7÷26÷14) since my last review… service is still fabulous!!! The lady at the front desk is so sweet and helpful (I need to get her name so I can give her kudos :)
My boys have hair that requires trimming often, thank goodness this place is really close to us.
