Went here on a holiday afternoon and it was very crowded. The food is very good, but I have to admit dealing with the crowds did not make for a pleasant experience. After you order and pay for your food, they give you a ticket which you use to pick up your food. I didn’t realize they give you a separate ticket and you have to wait on a separate line to pick up your drinks. Being a newcomer to this restaurant I didn’t realize that’s how they do things there, and so I had to wait in line for my drinks after getting my food, and during that time my food all got cold. If this place doesn’t get so crowded on normal days, I’m sure it would be a lot more enjoyable.

Best Mexican food in LA. Hands down. I go to great lengths to come here a few times a year because there’s nothing else like it. highlights include the carnitas in any form, the carne asada tostada, the chicken burrito– the ranchero sauce is to die for. And their REFRIEDBEANS!!! Best Southern California has to offer.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is on point. Seriously some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. Ever. Period. The service(or maybe just the workflow) could use some work. Definitely go for the mulitas(I don’t think it’s on the menu, but they are outrageously delicious and satisfying). Think of it as a cross between a taco and a quesadilla. Oh man, it’s delicious. The flautas are also a great choice. We got the burrito smothered in colorado sauce(again, this isn’t on the menu but it’s fantastic). Wonderfully tender, slow cooked meat, smothered in rich, complex chile sauce. It’s like nothing you’ve ever had. The only issue I had with the place is that it took an hour for our burrito to get to us. Yes, an hour. The way this place is set up, you place your order at one window, you pick up your chips and drinks(if you ordered them) at another window, then you seat yourself and wait for your number to be called so you can pick up your food at a third window. Lots of logistics there, so I understand that things can get lost in the shuffle. After our first two dishes came out, we waited maybe 20 minutes before asking about our burrito. Apparently they had forgotten it, and told us they were making it right now. So we waited, and kept waiting. The lady we told wouldn’t really address the issue, just kept telling us they were making it. By the time an hour had passed, someone else finally brought us our burrito. He was very friendly about it, and even offered us drinks on the house. Totally understand that things get lost in the shuffle, but it really didn’t feel like our issue was being listened to by the first woman we approached with our problem(she was behind the order pickup counter). Luckily the service took an upswing at the end, but we were honestly about ready to just walk out of there and consider the money we paid for our burrito a loss. This is definitely a case where the service could have driven me away forever, but the quality of the food saved the experience.

This place is delicious, they have everything. I ordered enchiladas rancheras with chicken and my hubby got a carne asada burrito. A portion is like feeding for two people. I definitely recommend any food here. It’s authentic and leaves you feeling full and happy. Make sure you phone in your order 25 – 30 mins before u pick up. It can be very busy, If you place order for take out at the register be ready to wait at least an hour for your food.

Most disgusting watery cheese burrito soaking knee deep in juices in a takeout container I’ve ever had in my entire life. Made me feel kind of sick looking at it. Tasted exactly like it looked unfortunately. Took a few bites and threw it out. I ordered a wet burrito, but it was more of a soup. Brace yourself against the toilet. You’re going to have an experience.

THISPLACEISSOGOOD. If you are the type that loves authentic mexican food this place is for you. This place was recommended to me by my coworker and they eat here a couple times a week. The food is so fresh and hot always, and the salsa is to die for! You get a huge basket of chips too! I usually order the chicken wet burrito and its enormous!!! I can barely finish it and their rice is so tasty! This place is always packed too! The only downside is the parking. Its so bad its not even funny. The lot for the restaurant is a joke and you can only park on the street and thats an even bigger joke. But you can also do takeout as well.

I went to Reseda High School, and I remember I would hear all of my friends boast and brag about this place all day long. Since I didn’t live that close, I never made an effort to go out there. Last week, I passed by on my way to a meeting and I decided it was finally time to try it. I walked in, and the place was beautiful. I really loved the design of the whole place. I mean details, upon details in that place. I fell in love with the fan they had in there. Anyways, I ordered a wet burrito, because I remember that it was what my friend raved about. I actually customized it, because I am not that fond of pico de gallo and avocado in my burrito. I got it with carne asada, refried beans, and rice. As I waited, I kept getting the stink eye from one of the lady workers, which was weird, and plain ridiculous. Anyways, I waited for me food, and took it to go, since I was in a rush to get home. Before I started my engine up, I decided to dig in and take a bite. It was cold!!! What kind of wet burrito is cold??? I don’t even know how they managed to get the cheese melted on top. And to top it off, I felt the burrito in general was DESPERATE for flavor. It was really lacking in that department. There was hardly any salt in that thing. The red sauce was very watery, with again no salt and little flavor. The carne asada tasted like they literally didn’t put any seasoning on it and boiled it. And the rice was so mediocre, I could probably make it better myself, and I have never made rice. I could not believe that this is what my friends all raved about. I really hope that it was just how the burrito came out that specific moment, because I really disliked it, and will definitely not be going back.

On my second time here I have to say I was very disappointed with this place. Food is ok, second time my husband gets sick eating here. The first time we came here was about 2 years ago. Now I remembered why we stayed away. This recent time I came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. I waited in line for about 20 minutes to order my food(with only one register open) a gentlemen in the front I’m assuming he was the manager was very rude directing customers to the other register. Just FYI Las Fuentes employees lack in customer service and when I mean they lack customer service is basic people skills. No hello how are you, looks like they are all super busy trying to get orders out and forget about the most important thing CUSTOMERSERVICE. Over priced food that makes you sick and rude employees. No thank you!

When I came into this place, it wasn’t as packed as what the other reviews have mentioned(maybe because it was like around 3PM). Still, it took me a while to order but plenty of seats were available. I did have one issue with this place though. One cashier(which was on the 2nd window where you get your drink after paying at the 1st window) was a bit rude. Moreover, she put so much ice on my large drink that I might as well have ordered the smallest size they have. Other than that, the food was amazing. I can see why this place gets packed and why it has over a thousand reviews on Unilocal.I ordered the burrito de carne asada with avocado, salsa and melted cheese on it. The veggies were fresh. The beef was a bit chewy but the flavor was on point. Would certainly come back to this place. They might have just earned a new regular.

What can I say about Las Fuentes that hasn’t already been said… This is one of my favorite places for Mexican food! The wet Steak burritos are to die for and all the food is just amazing! The prices are reasonable and the food is so tasty only downfall of this place would be the parking and how busy it gets that sometimes it’s tough to get a table… If you have a large group it’s pretty difficult to get a table. The Flan is really delicious as well so you must try!

The way it was packed here made me feel like there’s always a line here. Ordering and eating comes in 3 steps and 3 different Windows/areas 1) order your food and pay 2) pick up any drinks & chips and salsa 3) pick up your food You seat yourself, and that can be tricky because some people assign one person to watch tables to see who’s about to be done eating and leaving so they can take that table. Some people order and pay then go look for a table– at this point they’re a step behind because someone has already been spitting for tables. As far as the food goes it’s not the best Mexican food in LA but maybe it is for the valley. The food is solid here and you won’t have any complaints. The salsa wasn’t that great and that could’ve been specific to that day but I wasn’t impressed at all by the salsa. I ordered a fully loaded burrito«gringo style» which meant«wet burrito» and a chicken enchilada. It was solid and good, but nothing impressive. I enjoyed the ambience and it really felt like an authentic Mexican restaurant. Let’s be clear though, it won’t compare to the best Mexican in LA, but in the valley it’s one of the best.

Always crowded ‘cuz it’s that good! I pretty much tried everything here and I can’t pick a favorite! But I usually come back for their carne asada tostada, tamales, grilled fish plate, burrito, torta and chicken soup! I really like their horchata too!

Authentic Mexican food for the gringo! This restaurant is in the heart of reseda. As ghetto as that may sound, it’s actually really nice-inside and out. The interior is very artistically decorated. Super useful to keep your little ones occupied(at least for a short while). You walk in and place an order. Then find a seat and wait for your number to be called. So if you go with someone have them look for a table since this place gets packed. We got the carne asada. Very nicely charred steak with a side of Mexican rice(I didn’t eat it) guacamole and refried beans wth cheese on top. Salsa bar is self service. Nice cleaning ladies that keep the tables clean. Good food.

Wow… I think I have the tito tacos of the valley… but with more authentic Mexican food!!! The line was out the door busy, but the way the food is I’m not surprised. You order at the cashier, they give you the cups for the salsa bar and your drinks and chips and you wait for your food. It has the appearance of a sit down restaurant like El torito, but it is definitely more casual. The food is crazy good!!! I ordered 2 carnitas tacos and was insanely pleased. I also got the Carne asada nachos to go for my sister and they were really good. I also tried their wine margarita… and you could definitely taste all the alcohol in that. You can order by phone for pick up which is probably a really good idea if you don’t have time to wait in line, but it definitely is worth the wait!!!

Authentic, good and reasonably priced Mexican food. My fiancé and I swung by on a busy Saturday afternoon… I would try to avoid doing this if I were you. Parking was extremely limited so we had to park a couple of blocks down(luckily we found a spot close enough!) and walk over. It’s a order and pick up at the counter joint with seating being first come, first serve. The venue is relatively large with lots of seats… just way too many patrons. I had to make a couple of rounds before I finally managed to find seats outside. Between the two of us, we ordered the carne asada burrito with cheese, the carne asada tacos, the al pastor tacos and the obligatory corn chips. The burrito was my personal favorite… tons of flavor and even better paired with their spicy salsas. The al pastor taco was decent. I had to add salsa, onions and cilantro to really bring out the flavors. I wasn’t a fan of the carne asada taco though. The meat was kind of tough and didn’t have a ton of flavor. Overall, it was a decent meal. We may or may not be back.

Es bueno! Ive been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed food wise. I do have to say though, finding seating is a struggggle and parking just about always sucks. These two things normally steer me away from eating at a restaurant, but the food here is worth it!(sometimes) They have a stellar menu with options for everyone! I love the taquitos as well as the enchiladas. Everything is made super fresh and is ready quick! I’d suggest this place for smaller groups(1 – 4), as it may be impossible to grab a table otherwise.

Damn i love this place! Ive been coming to Las Fuentes for a couple years now and im a happy camper! The food is as authentic as it gets! The portions are generous for the price you pay! The service is excellente! This little gem packs a lot of flavor, character, and charm! Parking situation: once again a nightmare! Lol they have a small lot on the side that holds a specific number of cars… If you get lucky(woot woot) if not, good luck. Location: uh not in the best part of town. Flavor– a whole lot! They offer a variety of dishes! They have indoor and patio seats. —You wait in line to order your food and sit anywhere you’d like. Your order number is called, and food is picked up from the front side register area. Why did i dock one star? Because of the salsa bar! The whole thing looks unsanitary with an open top and easy access! I think they should come up with a better concept! Who knows how many people hoover over that thing all day. Blexxx Pre packaging the salsas would be a much better idea! :)

Can you say busy? My friend and his wife were torn between getting Mexican or steak sandwiches. So what else is there to do but get both! We picked up the sandwiches and placed an order for Mexican only to be told it’s a 40 min wait for pick up, no problem it’s to be expected on a Sat night. Place was packed and so many waiting to order or pick up. Food is good and nice salsa bar with lots of options too.

I just had taco de pollo and taco de carna asada. The beef is great. The size of the beverage is quiet big. Staff is nice. The chips just cost 1 buck. You can eat them as side dish or after or before sour meal with different sauces. Because I went on a Friday there it was pretty full.
