If you are a person who hates going to Home Depot and prefers a local hardware store you just fund it. If you are in the are or live close by you need to give this place a try. Very honest hardworking people. I needed something fast and I am glad I came here. The prices are very good with a large sections of hardware needs. If you are looking for just light bulbs or changing a key you are will be very happy. All I can say if I am in the area this is my first choice over Home Depot.

bought a 6 dollar piece of brass pipe, it was to long, took it back 3 days later, just wanted to trade for some screws did not want money, just trying to support local business. the guy at the counter said we don’t return without a receipt, I told him I did not get a receipt… his response was I should have asked for one… my response was over 6 dollars no money just a exchange, he just lost a customer for ever… he did not care… too bad, I will smile when this one goes under

I came in in a Saturday and the guy behind the counter was on the phone. I waited for service for awhile and realized it was a personal call. after time had passed, he asked me what I wanted, still on the phone. I told him what I needed and he brushed me off. I asked him some simple questions about the product and he told me that he didn’t have it. All while on the phone. I felt that he was just trying to get rid if me so he could continue his conversation in peace. Even though I live a block away, i’m never coming back Zero stars

I like this hardware store because it’s right in the middle of the valley. Sometimes you don’t have time to run to Home Depot so this place does just fine. Prices are fairly decent and the service is pretty good! Definitely recommend for anyone to come here and shop for all of their hardware needs

In attempt to self-repair our neglected twenty year-old sprinkler system and convert it to a drip system for our forthcoming xeriscaped front yard… I am continually running into issues. Tired of driving east to Home Depot on Sepulveda or west on Roscoe, I searched Unilocal for a hardware store in our area(needed a ¾″ pvc cap to seal off a sprinkler); we found Reseda Hardware Store. After the 2 minute drive instead of 22, the lady and I were immediately greeted and offered assistance. I briefly explained the issue and we were shown the proper piece and told how to secure it. I then detailed a larger sprinkler issue we were dealing with, and he resolved quickly and gave us everything we needed to fix it. Mind you, this is the first time I was in this store and had spoken to this gentleman… and he was 100% correct. Problem fixed. I don’t think that’s ever happened to us at The Home Depot or Lowe’s. Our new neighborhood hardware store. Thank you. You’ve gained two new regulars.

Didn’t have the screws I was looking for. Bought a wide variety to see if it would work. Went to return the screws I bought on Janurary 25th and they informed me that they have a policy that they don’t accept returns after 10 days… I understand that it is their policy but when I bought them, I made it clear I was going to have to return them if they didn’t fit. Tried and they didn’t work correct. Didn’t get around to the store until today. Annoying that they wont take back perfect screws I kept in my garage. Oh well.

I was on the hunt for a specific screw and came across this joint. The service is good, and probably the reason why these guys are still in business. Earlier in the day, I had visited Home Depot(mistake) and wish I had just come here first. I needed some new light bulbs and went there and after all the hassle dealing with the miserable people at Home Depot, they didn’t work, and were more expensive than at Reseda Hardware. Plus, I like supporting a local business because they have items that the big chains don’t carry. Especially when they have competitive prices and better service. One day, these small stores will be out of business and the only hardware items we’ll have to choose from are what Home Depot tells us to choose. Let’s delay the inevitable and support quality places like Reseda Hardware.

Support your local businesses! I needed some parts for a job at my house and instead of driving all the way to the Home Despot, I went to Reseda Hardware. Very knowledgeable staff, and great prices. See you guys again!

Knowledgeable of what houses in the area need for general repairs, and very helpful. I always check to see if they have what I need, before going to home depot or lowes.

Well, based on the last poster, there really isn’t a major chain near me so I went there. I found what I needed with a little assistance from the two gentlemen there. I was greeted with a smile and was asked how they can help. I was in and out of there in a matter of minutes. I paid more than I would have liked but that is expected at a mom and pop store. Its very hard to compete with major chains, so I don’t feel bad helping a local shop out with my purchase.
