Shirley Ave Elementary School

my son went to this horrible school, he ll go to 11 grade now, a teacher used to yelled at kids he behave so angry, on his way out of classroom he kicked backpacks, even other teacher could hear, and I had to transfer my son to other classroom, another teacher; when my son would go asker because he wasn’t understanding the class would tell him EVEN IF I EXPLAIN YOU YOU WONT UNDERSTAND and she would send my son half of day to a lower class, I guess first grade and my son would waste his day without a real class this teacher was on a weelchair. People who know her wont let me lie. And last I had to go to principal because if my son would complain about something she would tell my son. THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU COME TO TALKED TO ME I DONT WANT TO SEE YOU HERE ANYMORE! I went to office and talked to principal she didn’t know what to say. Please parents pay attention to your kids when they complain about someone at school, please stand up for your kids. The teacher are there to bring all the potential from the kids, no to degrading them with that behavior. Very racist. They are lucky I gave two stars because I coulnt erase one. My respect for the good teachers.

Shirley Ave serves a diverse population of students from almost all socio-​economic backgrounds with consistently good teachers and administration. Students are treated fairly and encouraged to do their best. My daughter goes here and loves her teachers and her classmates.
