I’ve achieved my 3rd degree black belt from John Chung Tae Kwon Do. This was 14 years ago when John Chung ran a school in Long Island, New York. I have to say, Sahbumnim (teacher) John Chung was one of the most charismatic, knowledgable, and hands on teachers that I’ve ever had in my martial arts journey. His style of teaching has been forever molded in my mind and until now (I’ve since moved to California), it is very hard for me to find a school that compares in quality. I’m so glad that he still has a school to this day and that others are able to experience the teachings that I took for granted in my youth. If you decide to take a chance and walk through the door of a John Chung Tae Kwon Do institute, you will be pleasantly surprised and I guarantee that you will learn something that will last you a lifetime.
