Dude, this place’s radiology department sucks after hours. I had to come here for a procedure to make sure the insides were okay on a late «add-​on» from a doctor. Ended up waiting two hours to get in despite being told that the appointment time was 5:30. It’s just another thing that makes me despise getting any sort of advanced medical care in the United States — the business decision to keep one technician on staff to perform the studies after 5:00 just eats up time. It’s moments like these that make me want to bill hospitals and other places for MY wasted time — because Lord only knows that if I missed my appointment, I’d get charged a missed appointment fee!
Oh, and since when did doctors start calling to review the study results with you? What ever happened to showing you the charts, explaining it, and making you feel comfortable with the information? Even if it’s for an abrupt 2 minutes, I prefer to see body language rather than having some fat-​ass technician who is more concerned with her dinner and Facebook session tell me that the doctor is going to call now and pointing a leg-​looking digit at the phone hanging on the wall that 50,000 sick folks probably used before me.
Yeah, I won’t be back to this joint. Even if it’s for an emergency. Bitches.
