Let me begin by saying that I live about ½ mile from here and I walk past it all the time, but I never went in until today. The first thing I noticed about this place is the fact that it was very clean. I am used to okay looking pizza places with anonymous crud in the corner, so this was a huge change. I ordered the seafood combo, which comes with your choice of two seafood types and two sides. I got the scallops and calamari with rice and coleslaw. My roommate ordered fish with the same sides. We decided to eat in, paid for our orders and walked across the street to the gas station so I can fulfill my energy drink addiction and came back to our food nicely placed on a table by the window(nice). Everything was DELICIOUS… even the tartar sauce. The calamari had cherry pepper rings which complimented it well and the scallops were perfectly fried. The rice was well seasoned and piping hot and the coleslaw was great. I had some of the roomie’s fish and it was great. I will definitely be back here again to try the fried clams. My only gripe is the fact that I wanted a fisherman’s platter and had to settle for only two seafood items. They should really change that. I would be more than happy to pay $ 20+ for this if it were on the menu.

Food is pretty good. DONOT order a slice of pizza though. They are supposed to heat it up but some of the children behind the counter do not heat it up and lie about it. In general, the folks behind the counter are surly, un-friendly and sometimes, downright rude.

Beyond rude. Called to order a pizza spoke to a guy the first time just to check prices and see if they could make a custom pizza he said yes. So we hung up decided what we wanted and then called back. A woman answered the phone that time and told us she didn’t know how to ring that up so we spoke to the manager who said we couldn’t do it and it wasn’t possible. Also she said there wasn’t a guy there and hadn’t been. Don’t know who we talked to less than 5 minutes before then? Didn’t even order we were so angry and frustrated.

Monday night, I was really wanting those delicious Sweet Potato Fries that I ordered Last time. I figured I’d also try the special $ 6.00 cheese pizza. The delivery was very prompt, but the new delivery person rang my bell once And because I was in the kitchen, It took me a minute to come to the door. Even though my rooms are pretty small, I ‘m elderly and disabled, walking With a walker and cane, but when I got to the door, no one was there. I Called out, and he came back up the walk. I asked if he was leaving an he said«no». This time I was disappointed with my order. The fries were almost cold, even though they were in a bag that was stapled shut. I don’t know What they did different, but the other night the fries were hot, real fresh, And the order was double the size of this one. These were mostly little Pieces, like left over, in spite of the fact this was a side for $ 6.00, and The other night, the fries were one of the sides with my Clam Dinner, that I had to pay $ 3.00 extra for. I would think this order would be larger, as It was ordered alone. They were so great the other night, that I couldn’t Get enough of them. The pizza left a lot to be desired. The crust was tough. probably kneaded to much, and the rest, tasteless. I could only eat a half Of one piece. I guess I better take a break from The Bridge for awhile.

We were in town from CT and needed a place to eat. so going on other Unilocal reviews we gave it a try. we were not disappointed. Had the chicken parma calzone and hubby got meatball & sausage calzone, both were very good. The girls behind the counter were very friendly, and service was very quick. Just wish the seating area was larger it did get crowded with all the other people waiting on orders. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Really good food. Fast service and a friendly staff. I had the roast beef and it was cooked just right. I also had the honey BBQ chicken fingers. The serving size was pretty big. I’m a big guy and I was full :)

Great food, great service, and great interior! Don’t be deterred by the outside of the restaurant. It’s definitely a gem in the rough. They also serve Richardson’s Ice Cream!

Delicious. Absolutely delicious! I came here as a suggestion from a friend. I got ridiculously hungry after a long day at the beach when a friend suggested Bridge. It so happened to be near his house so I decided to check out the menu online. There are so many menu items to chose from, which in some cases can be a bit overwhelming but not here — everything sounded delicious! The staff was friendly — I was instantaneously greeted as soon as I walked in the door(around 9pm on a Sunday). I decided to go with the fried clams dinner but was stuck between onion rings, coleslaw and yellow rice. The cashier suggested the yellow rice(and I really wanted the coleslaw) and I could not have been happier. The yellow Spanish rice was so delicious and such a great suggestion! The clams were lightly fried and the tartar dipping sauce was really good too. The portions are a good size and I didn’t feel like anything was overly greasy. To make a long and delicious late night dinner short, everything I had was really really good. This is not near my house but I am already craving it and would drive all the way to Revere/Malden to get my Bridge fix!

I liked this place when it used to be Giorgio’s Roast Beef and still very much enjoy their food and customer service as Bridge Pizzeria! First time I got delivery was a few weeks ago and the food came within timeframe promised with everything being correct. I got the gyro dinner w/mashed potato and Greek salad and my husband got the Italian sub. The gyro was flavorful and meat was tender, mashed potato was thick, chunky, had good flavors and came with separate tub of gravy, and salad was a good portion(not to mention that the house dressing was awesome)! My husband liked his sub and we ordered from them again probably 4 times this week, lol. Two of my orders were the cheeseburger dinner plate and the other two were roast beef dinner plate. My husband got a steak tip sub w/cooked onions and mushrooms the first time then steak tip dinner plate w/same toppings the remaining times. The verdict? Cheeseburger was delish and seasoned well, and the buns were toasted with the right amount of butter. The meat was cooked as requested at medium well, and my fries were pretty good and tasty. Roast beef sandwich was a generous portion and was juicy and tender. The buns were buttered and the beef wasn’t totally rare, dry or tasteless like other places I’ve ordered roast beef from. I got the onion rings and broccoli as side dishes on a different night — onion rings were meh, not crispy but had decent flavor, broccoli was steamed with a hint of garlic and salt. My husband’s steak tip was very good and the Spanish rice side dish was amazing. He got the coleslaw today and it was ok, nothing out of the ordinary and tastes like coleslaw should. We also ordered the fried dough bites and they were oh-so-gooooood topped w/powdered sugar and drizzled w/honey, although most of the honey lay in a pool at the bottom of the container and we didn’t discover it until halfway through. For a side order, it was a very generous portion filled completely in the square styrofoam container that salads usually come in. Customer service was good — I liked how the person taking the order would repeat the order back to me at the end to make sure she got everything right. The delivery was very quick and record time was 25 minutes this evening on a Saturday night(ordered at 8pm and driver came at 8:25pm)! When you’re hungry, every minute counts and feels like forever, so quick delivery time with food cooked correctly and still warm upon arrival is greatly appreciated!!! Can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

Came in here for the pizza and wow. What a great pie, I came in here way back when this place was just a sub shop. This place looks amazing, done up real nice. The pizza was made real fresh, dough made perfectly. The cheese was awesome, you pull a slice and the cheese just never pulls off the other slices. The pepperoni was not just some run of the mill kind, really good when it was all together. Can’t wait to try other things here at this place if the pizza was good I can only imagine the other food.

So I got around to trying this place again. Even though the owner had offered me half off due to a poor past experience, I decided not to cash in that favor. I figured if I liked them this time around then who cares. We ordered two steak and cheese subs. One with bbq sauce, the other with ketchup, onions, mushrooms, and salt. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. This time the food showed up quick. Within 20 minutes, but this should be the norm as I live less than able away. Here is the problem. First, both subs were cold. They were delivered on styrofoam to go containers? Who does that? I think a place like this would know you need to wrap them in aluminum foil for the sub to have a shot of arriving warm. Second problem, the BBQ sun was fine, but the other had no mushrooms, ketchup, or salt. So, it was simply wrong. I won’t order from this place again. It is too bad, because my wife’s sub tasted fine and the delivery was fast. Moreover it us nearby and the prices are reasonable. But I just don’t trust that my order will ever be correct or warm when it arrives.

Update: ordered from here again the other night. Buffalo chicken fingers with fries and o-rings. Decent but not the best. Large buff chicken calzone… Freaking giant(seriously it’s the size of a large pizza but jam packed with cheese and chicken and goodness) and pretty yummy. Do yourself a favor and absolutely get the chocolate mousse. It’s a random thing to order from here, but it was SO good! I just wish they would pack it separately from the hot food.

This place is awesome… I always order from them. They are super polite from the people taking orders to the delivery guys. My order is always right and hot when it arrives. Im a fan of the subs and salads, but I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I did stop in once and picked up an order. The place was immaculate and again the staff was super friendly. Give them a chance!

Okay so my idea of good pizza had been Papa Johns. This I will admit to my fellow Unilocalers. So when I ordered a large Hawaiin Pizza with mushrooms and green bell peppers I was very surprised that it was that good! It has got to be the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The cheese was really, really good. And the sauce was also the reason why it made any other pizza joint taste like turds compared.

Speaking specifically to the Chicken Tenders and Roast Beef… This place is above average for your typical greek roast beef shop. I’ll assume that’s the definition of such a place. I mean they have baklava on the counter top and typically this is a sure sign they are in fact Greek !!! That said, my eating partner and I stopped in here on a whim, on our way to Mohegan sun because we knew we weren’t going to make our reservation for the Steak House down there… How does one go from Steaks to a Roast Beef /pizzeria place you ask? Who knows, but this fat guy was hungry and needed food, and this was the last place before I hopped on route 1 toward the Tobin. The roast beef was rare, the rolls fresh and the chicken fingers were seasoned and fantastic… I mean exceptionally fantastic… So as I write this review I went there again today for a second time and as much as I am embarrassed to admit this,(not really) again for supper tonight with my kids. This time I had them deliver to me, and the delivery guy couldn’t have been nicer and asked specific questions about next time he delivered. Something most people /delivery people don’t care to ask too often… All of this makes me a fan. So in ending, get to the greek… You’ll be happy you did…

I have not had the pizza here, admittedly, but the subs. Holy cow. I get the roast beef and it does NOT disappoint. Plenty of meat, east coast style. The wife loves the meatball sub. Service is always quick. Place is really nice and clean inside. And they deliver. Even have some parking in front. Solid place if you’re craving a big ol’ sub sandwich. Even have crazy sinful stuff like fried macaroni and cheese bites. I need to have a solid week at the gym before feeling like I deserve that. But they will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine… Also noticed some ice cream in the joint if you’re feeling especially deserving of some calories. Just splurge baby.

Bridge Pizzeria took the place of Giorgio’s in Revere after heavily renovating the building. I believe the owners are new. The outside has brand new signage, and the inside is completely unrecognizable from how it used to look now. However, both the inside and out look very nice. I will try not to make my entire review a comparison to the old Giorgio’s(which was awesome and I miss it greatly), but there will definitely be a few comparisons. For one, there is no change to the parking situation, it still sucks. About four or so spaces. Nothing much they can really do about that. Like I mentioned, the outside is completely different now with new signage, and it does look really good. Same with the inside, it’s brand spanking new. They clearly put a look of money into remaking the inside over, it looks very nice as well. The first thing I noticed is their new menu, it is HUGE. I mean gigantic, it took me a good 5 minutes to glance over everything. The woman who took my order and a guy behind the counter were both friendly to me. There were about 4 – 5 other customers inside eating(it was right in the middle of lunchtime). I ordered a fried scallop dinner to go, as that was favorite order at Giorgio’s. (Here’s where I make comparisons to the old Giorgio’s) The first that struck me as being kind of cheap was the sides that came with it. At Giorgio’s, the scallop dinner came with french fries, onion rings, and cole slaw. A lot of places give you those three sides with a fried seafood dinner. At Bridge Pizzeria, you get your pick of 2 sides with your scallop dinner, so you can only have two of three now. That seemed kind of cheap. I chose onion rings and cole slaw. Sorry french fries :( Bridge had big shoes to fill, as Giorgio’s had the largest portions of seafood I have ever seen(they very generous with portions), and they had the cheapest, most delicious scallops I’ve ever had(a dinner was only $ 13-$ 14). Bridge’s charges about $ 5 more, and I was also disappointed to see the portions were dramatically smaller. They served nice big pieces, but far fewer of them, and overall their portions were much smaller. Although, the scallops were nice and fresh. The onion rings were good. The cole slaw was just okay. They’re still a better deal, and probably tastier than going to Kelly’s for seafood. I’m probably being a little generous right now giving them three stars, but I will be sure to try their namesake pizza, and review them again.
