Split the daily special with my boyfriend – 6 Chicken Fingers and Fries. $ 10!!! What a steal. It was delicious. I only wish I had more right now. Our friend got the General Tso’s Chicken and loved it too. My only complaint was that it took a while for our food to be ready. But hey, at least we know they were making it to order, not just getting food that was made hours before that.

How can anyone NOT love this place? Seriously? I moved to Salem. I get Chinese take out weekly. This. Is. The. Best. I literally drive FROM Salem JUST to get this food! I try a different place every other week and it ALWAYS falls short and I am back making the hike to Revere beach. The beef teriyaki is AMAZING… like my kids will NOT even eat it at ALL the other places we tried, it is ALWAYS too fatty or salty or burnt, but here, even my six year old eats THREESTICKS! :) AND they are always SO nice! LOVETHISPLACE!

Have ordered from Happy Garden a few times. The food has been fresh and delicious each time. Have tried all the Revere Chinese restaurants, and this gets my vote for favorite. LOVE their boneless ribs!

My favorite Chinese restaurant ever. They make the best beef and brocolli. Imagine bright green firm stalks of brocolli coated in a rich soy gravy. There is no floppy brocolli here and there is the most tender little pieces of beef. Best boneless spareribs ever! When you’re at Revere Beach, grab a combo platter to go. There is no real dining room so you have no choice.

Best chickens, best crab ragoons, best fried rice. This would be the only place around my house I would get my Chinese food take out

My family have been ordering from this place for years. However this last week, we ordered and picked up. Nothing was fresh and smelled like cigarettes. Too bad, my family will look elsewhere now.

My sister and I ordered some food here after a hot day at the beach and it was terrible. The women helping us was rude and so disinterested in her job and the food was gross. We will never go back! I do not recommend this Chinese restaurant, there are so many better ones around then this overpriced trash!

I used to come here a lot growing up and I remembered their food was great. Not so much the case now. I used to love their fried rice and lo mein the most. The fried rice was spectacular, full of meat and flavor. The lo mein wasn’t dry, it had the right amount of veggies and meat ratio. That all changed within the last few years. I don’t know why it happened but it did. I still have to say that their other offerings is still the same. For instance, their chicken and beef teriyaki is to die for and their chicken fingers are scrumptious. Their location is very convenient, right on the beach, next to Twist & Shake, MGH Revere and the Revere Beach Train stop. There’s plenty of parking in the front and the back though the front is usually taken up. There’s a little dining area on the side of the building, maybe 4 picnic tables. They really don’t keep it clean enough though. A lot of times, it’s sticky and full of leftover rice. The cashier is nice for the most part, their delivery is pretty punctual also.

Eaten here two or three times. Delivery dudes are rude. Most of the food is dry and flavorless…

The staff barely speaks English so be prepared to speak slowly and order 2 or 3 times but that’s OK because despite being nervous they will show up with Burger King don’t worry because they got it right. As far as Chinese food goes this is middle par, you’re not thinking man am I eating Dog but you also aren’t thinking WOW this is incredible. They deliver and are always fast and food still warm. they bring your sauces such as sweet and sour for your sweet and sour chicken on the side so it doesn’t show up soggy which I actually like. Their various rangoons are always quality and their best thing on the menu. The delivery guy is really nice and always very appreciative of tips and always comes up the your door. The portions are large but the prices are still just a little high but tolerable. If you are looking for good Chinese in the Revere Area you are going to be hard press but this is location is certainly acceptable although I do not recommend you go there to pick up just stick with delivery.

We got delivery the other night and decided to try someplace new. Its a typical Chinese restaurant. While ordering its not uncommon to feel 150% positive they don’t know what you just said… yet somehow they always get it right. In all, we probably will skip over unless all of the others burn in grease fires, but I find that unlikely. Lets start with the phone call. Surprisingly the naming the food process went fairly well. The address? Forget it. It was repeated a total of 7 times, spelled forward and backward and upside down. They just couldn’t get it. They say they deliver to Winthrop, but I swear it was like asking them to deliver to Eritrea. So finally, we finalized the address… Gave a delivery estimate of 40 mins(seems kinda high but went fast) then they called when on the way to re-confirm the address, ok got it. Winthrop! Not winthrop street? NOOOOOOO. When paying, we gave him $ 6 while we got the other half out but he just started walking away… with only $ 6…we did end up paying the full amount. The food was actually decent and the crab rangoon were actually really good and stuffed to the max. Nothing was overly greasy, I mean no more or less than an average chinese american take out place. I got some Hunan/Szechuan mixed vegetable and chicken dish which was pretty good, could have been more spicy and tasted like every other chicken and mixed vegetable dish with the same sauce, but overall tasted very good and lots of chicken. Some people hate chunks of onions, but it looks like they use finely chopped which actually enhanced the flavors. OK the hot n sour soup was ok. It needed to be more hot and sour, but it was fine and edible. I tried some fried rice which was pretty good and standard, eveyrthing was standard. The only crappy thing is one of the duck sauces opened in the bag… the duck sauce was different but good! It tasted peachy. In all, not the best but not the worst.

Do you ever find yourself lying on the beach craving nothing but a delicious cwab wangoon? I sure as hell do. On a recent trip to Reveah Beach, while my friends were opting to stuff their flan-holes with various ice creams, my cousin and i chose to go the Happy Garden route. They have a convenient walk-up window, which led me to believe that the transaction would be a speedy one. I was not correct. We were standing around waiting for a solid 15 minutes. The lady who took our order was quite pleasant, however. We got one of the appetizer combo options. It came with a spring roll, 4 cwab wangoons, 4 kicken wings, and some teriyaki chicken all for 8 dolla– not to shabby. My cousin noted that the long wait could have been due to the fact that they made our order from scratch, rather than reheat some rando kicken wings and such– i understood this, and agreed, as our order was piping hot when I was finally handed the bag. The spring roll was pretty disgusting. No taste. The cwab wangoons were not the best I’ve had– not even close. The kicken wings were pretty damn good. The teriyaki chicken was alright… but it didn’t help that I had to eat them with my fingers because I had forgotten to get utensils/they were not included in our bag. I’m pretty sure my fellow T-riders enjoyed watchin me toss greasy teriyaki chicken into my gob on the ride back to the city. meh! all in all… i was not too impressed. Maybe it should change it’s name to «Crappy Garden!!!1!» lolllll
