A wonderful Find! I have been here 3 times and loved every dish I have ordered. I loved the chunks of veggies in our dishes! Along with the delicious breakfast and lunch dishes, the desserts are awesome!

This place was a really, really great find! Everything about it was delightful. The food, the staff, the atmosphere… definitely a place to return to. So, first the food: it is a vegetarian(meatless) restaurant with entrees, juices, soups, desserts, and all kinds of yummy stuff! And it’s healthful! Second, the staff: they were all delightful! The servers were super friendly and the owner was very welcoming! We went back the next morning to buy some of her recently baked ginger snap cookies and arrived before opening(online says 10am on Sunday, but it’s actually 11am), but the owner caught us in the parking lot before we pulled away and let us in to buy the delicious cookies! Third, the ambiance: the building is charming! It has indoor and outdoor seating, which is intimate, but not so much so that you feel like you’re sitting with patrons next to you. The restaurant has character and charm! Overall, the experience was awesome! We will definitely return the next time we’re in the area. If you’re within 30 miles of the place, I’d say it’s totally worth it to go out of your way to make the trip!

This was such a cute place. This unfortunately did not have high chairs so I had to hold my baby and try to eat my lunch. The waiter was amazing. Very attentive, kind and helpful. The sweet potato patty was delicious. The marble cupcake was ok. I would not buy one again. I’d certainly try something else. All their sweets looked really good.

What a little gem. Worth a detour if you’re anywhere nearby. All vegetarian with a homespun touch and seriously delicious breakfasts. You’ll wish it was in your home town! Recommend by the clairvoyant Carolyn at early bird espresso and mercantile in frenchtown nj

This is a great quaint little place to eat tucked in a town not many people know by name. It’s worth the drive into Upper Bucks to eat here. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The portions are plenty — you won’t leave hungry. I suggest trying something on the menu you normally wouldn’t, you’ll be pleasantly pleased!

Nellie Rae’s is a super cute spot! The good: — Very charming restaurant in a location that doesn’t have too many vegetarian options — Fresh coffee — Their juice is really good, too — Breakfast burrito is delicious! The bad: — The service isn’t the greatest. It’s like you don’t know if you have to seat yourself or not. The food took a while to come out and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. — Food needed some seasoning, salt/pepper/hot sauce — The freshly made orange juice was warmer than room temperature

Passed by this cute little place on a road trip. The vibe is so positive and mellow with an outstanding menu chock full of house made specialties. I started with a pressed to order juice creation. The balance of fruit and vegetable juices was subtle and perfectly balanced. The portion size was huge. I moved on to a cup of the day’s soup, which was a creamy carrot coconut. It was delicious! After that arrived an amazing interpretation of the Monte Cristo. Brioche French Toast served as the sandwich’s bread, topped with oodles of gooey melted Swiss cheese, and tangy, tasty grilled veggie sausage links. I defy any meat eater to have identified the sausage as vegetarian. The Monte Cristo was accompanied by a small cup of real maple syrup for dipping — perfect combination of savory and sweet. On the side, a nice portion of roasted and seasoned baby red potatoes kept company with a juicy watermelon slice. I wish I lived closer. 3 hours is a long commute to Nelli Ray’s, but I will definitely be back the next time I swing within an hour’s trip.

My family and I just enjoyed the New Year’s Day Gratitude Brunch and were completely satisfied! The food was delicious, fresh and original. Our service was warm and accommodating – we were invited to stay even though we entered just past the closing hour today. Finally, the restaurant itself is a pleasure to spend time in, with soft linens on the table and an interior that encourages relaxation and savoring the delicious meal.

Stopped in today with my teenagers. Great menu and they use local ingredients. Kids had the roasted veggie plate with brown rice. They were very accomodating when the kids asked to chage up some of the veggies. I had the thai coconut soup which was outstanding! We loved the charm of this place and the service was outstanding. We also shared their gluten free peanut butter banana cupcake and didn’t leave a crumb!

Outstanding food and ambience. I have ordered veggie burgers in restaurants for the past forty years and Nellie Rae’s sweet potato burger is the very best I have ever eaten… especially with their homemade sauce. This is fresh local food at its finest! What a joy to find this restaurant in rural eastern PA. The staff and chefs are warm, caring, and full of energy. It sure feels like family. –Jeshua

Wonderful in every way – super cute, comfortable place; very friendly, efficient staff; and the food is out of this world! My new favorite meal: the sweet potato burger and the berry bread pudding asking with lots of their hot, fresh coffee. Added bonus, it’s from local sources. :-)

The food was wonderful, I had the beet salad and a bowl of carrot ginger soup. My wife had gluten free French toast! It was the first place we have ever seen that option. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back!

Great new healthy eating options in Upper Bucks County, PA. NelliRae’s Kitchen prepares and serves fresh, wholesome food made from natural ingredients. Had the Spinach and Mushroom Frittata over spinach for lunch followed by the Raw Chocolate Pudding. The best part is that the pudding was completely free of added sugar OR dairy. It was delish, you have to try it to believe it.
