Volare is a gem. My wife and I were at Cirque du Soleil and looking for a restaurant for after the show. As a foodie I had low expectations BUT Volare was outstanding. Service was wonderful and the food reminded me of trips to Italy. Give Volare a try and you will be astounded by the quality of this restaurant.

Omg I love it here. The calamari is TODIEFOR! Ask for a chocolate martini and you won’t be disappointed! And on weekends… They give you FREEPIZZA! Who in the world wouldn’t want FREEPIZZA!!!

Our server Cat was very friendly! She offered us assistance at the perfect times and knew when to come over without being too bothersome. The music could have been louder, but the ambiance is lovely in here. Street parking only was tough, so I would recommend coming on a weeknight. The bar is a good size, but we opted to sit at a table tonight. The calamari had a delicious lemon aioli and they give you bread to start. I ordered the haddock special with baby Shrimp, oregano, and Kalmata olives under red sauce — it was fantastic! They give you large portions which are very much worth the money. My boyfriend ordered the lamb special with blueberry sauce, asparagus, and potatoes which was also VERY tasty. The drinks came in good portioned sizes and were affordable. We will most definitely be returning again.

I love volare! Really cannot go wrong here I have been countless times and tried so many different apps, meals, and desserts and never once been disappointed. The staff is also friendly and helpful and they have awesome drinks. It’s all at an affordable price and the restaurant is clean and nice. I will keep coming to volare and suggest everyone else goes too! Excellent options from what I can remember — chicken/eggplant parm — pizza –burrata — calamari — eggplant bruschetta — salmon with crushed pistachio(can’t remember the actual name) — seafood risotto — tiramisu(my favorite in all of Boston and surrounding areas) — panacotta It really just goes on and on!!!

I came here for my birthday. Chefs were willing to accommodate a party of 15, even with the restaurant’s own celebration occurring in 2 hours(they were celebrating an anniversary for being open 2 or 3 years). Food was DELICIOUS. I can’t stress how good it was. My friends were all impressed by the spot, and one friend even told me «you know how to pick a spot!» These friends also happen to be chronically cheap and not one person complained about the price of the food(you all won’t realize how incredible that is) which just speaks to how amazing the food was. Can’t wait to go back!

Much better than we expected and not overly crowded for a rainy Thursday. The bread was straight out of the oven, piping hot and delicious. Entrees of chicken parm/Saltimbocca were both really flavorful, well worth the pricing. The staff was great, from beginning to end. We will be back for sure, just wasn’t crazy about the bar area patrons, which is why this isn’t 5 stars.

Fan-fucking-tastic. I had the abrezzesse with salciccia and my friend ordered the boscaiola. Both were out of this word. We also ordered the warm bruschetta as an appetizer. Everything was on point! The waitress was also very sweet, helpful and attentive. I also ordered one of their signature martinis — Tito’s rose– sooo good! Great place for a casual date/going out with friends!

Food and price: We wanted to try something new and not well known and heard about Volare through Groupon. If you want to order the expensive stuff, they’re overpriced for NOT so great taste. If the food was as good as North End, I don’t mind paying what I paid. You’re better off going elsewhere for good Italian food. For appetizers, the calamari wasn’t bad. We ordered some pasta w/mussels but the mussels were mostly bad and stinky. Our other entrée were some mixed soupy rice with lobster and crab — was definitely not what we expected and was horrendous. I wouldn’t imagine much on the menu would be worth the price. If you’re looking to sit down and have a nice dinner, it’s definitely NOT worth a try. You’re better off going to a nice well known restaurant. However, I can’t speak for the less pricey items such as Pizza etc. Atmostphere: We, as a couple went on a Sunday night around 9ish. There were several(3 – 4) other couples there eating dinner. The place was mostly filled with bar patrons at this point standing around, drinking, watching sports. In terms of ethnicity, there weren’t much diversity. The place is mostly filled with ghetto white and not yuppies but that’s just what I gathered.

Excellent Italian food! I had appetizers, calamari, meatballs and bruchetta. The sauce and meatballs were perfect. An interesting twist on the bruchetta with Prosciutto, ricotta cheese and balsamic dressing. A perfect combination. I can’t wait to go back and have dinner!

Great place. Probably my favorite Restaurant in Revere. It’s good for a nice dinner or for a night out with friends. The bar and wait staff are great. You also can’t beat the late night pizza they hand out before close.

We recently had our company Christmas party at Volare and could not be happier, the food was spectacular and the service was even better. The atmosphere is great and the chef came to our table to make sure everything was ok. These are good hard working people who truly care about your experience, give this place a try!

Owner: chris Server: Jason Bartender: gianna I’m new to the area, but not to customer service and italian food. Wow what an experience. We walked 20 Minutes early for our 9:45 reservation. We was welcomed and given the choice to sit on a low or high table. The hostess must’ve noticed that my lady and I we’re on a date. She assured us that the low sitting was a bit more quite for socializing. We agreed. We were seated at it began. The experience with our waiter Jason was awesome. Young guy but understand the importance of making patrons feel comfortable. He regularly checked on us. We didnt not feel like we missed anything or had to look for him. He was just so attentive. He’s suggestions for starters, main course, dessert was spot on. Not only did we enjoy the ther waiter, but I had the opportunity to meet the owner Chris. He was very respectful and social. As he should be. He made me feel welcomed and acknowledged. Now let me start on the Bartender Gianna. She was awesome. Although it wa busy she seemed to take her time to make great Martinis. Ufff what a buzz. I loved it. My lady and I went home full, happy, and romantically involved. This is not a high end luxury bistro. This is home. A cozy resturant for all to feel welcomed. I will refer many! Thanks Volare team. I appreciate the experience. Jay,

Ordered Chicken Marsala to go. Menu says«with penne pasta». got home, no pasta. Called, was told that chicken marsala doesn’t come with pasta. That’s so not true. The girl I spoke with says you have to ask for pasta. Then why is it on the menu as such? It’s a shame because the time I ate there the food and atmosphere was great and idve liked to come back and bring my mother and wife. This left a bad taste in my mouth though. I should have got what I ordered and when I call to fix it you should at least make it right, not tell me I’m wrong, picture included to show I’m not making it up.

Getting dinner here on a Friday night, thought it was gonna be super busy but not at all. They sat us right away, the place is very open and super loud, since it’s an open floor concept with no booths you can here the everybody yelling. The waiter was super nice, got us bread and oil and took our drink order. Then we ordered our plates, I love places like this that list the food by the real Italian name so you really got to read the menu. The food came and it was good a decent size not to big or small just right in my mind. The food was delicious just my plate was just a wee bit over salted but that could if been my plate alone. But overall good food here, and the gelato a really good only 2 flavors but still so good.

Definitely frequent this restaurant/bar often. The food has always been delightful. I have never ordered the same thing twice. Though my meal today was the reason I had to write a review. I ordered the menu salmon(it was in Italian and I can’t recall the name) however, there was artichokes, peas, fresh tomato, zucchini, squash and white beans in a delicious butternut wine sauce. I am in awe over the preparation Veal parm is great, pizza is good, drinks are strong. Bar service could have been better or at-least more hospitable but so be it.

I was underwhelmed by Volare. My boyfriend suggested we try it for dinner on a Friday night because we have seen tons of pictures of our friends dining there and the décor(and martinis) look lovely. He called and made a reservation for 9pm, and though we arrived five minutes late, we were greeted pleasantly by the woman at the hostess stand. She asked if I wanted a high or low table, and I chose a high table near the bar(I liked having the option!). She was great; that was the last good service of the night. Waitress was bored and uninterested in being there, serving us, and/or life in general. She asked if I wanted anything to drink, I asked her if the bar does mojitos, she said no, and when I told her I needed a few minutes to think, she just kind of shrugged and walked away. Would have been better if she had provided some recommendations or specials from the drink menu. I lied — the bussers, who brought the bread, refilled our water, and cleared our plates, were also friendly and professional. Good service there, too. Bread was good, not fantastic, but good. Pesto oil dip was really good. Volartini on the rocks was very well made, both times(often I find the second drink is a weaker, less-good version of the first). Lobster ravioli was delish IMO; my boyfriend wasn’t crazy about it. Caesar salad was just fine — needs more croutons! They were so flavorful I could have eaten a whole bowl just of croutons(my minds telling me no… but my bodyyyyy is telling me yessssss!). Pizza was a huge disappointment. I ordered the caprese pizza, which I assumed would be like a caprese salad, with tomato, fresh mozzarella, and basil. Ordered extra mozzarella(see any number of my other reviews for my explanation on my affinity for all things cheese), thinking it would be balls of fresh mozz. The pizza comes out — good size — SOGGY from all of the olive oil, covered in cheese but not an ounce of fresh mozz in sight. I even asked the server«this is the caprese???» and he confirmed. Flavor was just okay. Skipped dessert and went elsewhere for drinks. Also forgot to mention their menu does NOT match what’s online — my boyfriend specifically wanted lobster mac and cheese(listed online) but it was nowhere to be found on their actual menu. Volare is fun if you are a local and you want to have a few drinks at a fancier-than-average place sitting at the bar. Some food is fine, but I wouldn’t make a trip here to eat. The décor really is nice, the free valet is great, obviously the bartender knows what she’s doing, but the food is uninspired, the table service is lackluster, and the food you came for doesn’t exist. Ehh.
