Payless Shoe Stores

Payless stores in general can be somewhat hit or miss, but unlike the Famous Footwear right by it there is one advantage besides price: sizes are clearly labeled on the wall and you can in less than 5 minutes figure out if they have something you want in the size you need. No digging through boxes under displays only to find that what’s under there isn’t what’s on display, or that every half size is available but not your size. This particular location seems to have a better selection than others in the area, and good customer service. Definitely not as high a quality as Famous Footwear, but $ 20 vs $ 50 for that Spider shoe that my little guy will outgrow in no time, that’s a pretty good deal. No comparison anyway since Famous Footwear only had 12.5, 13.5, but no 13.
