If you like to DIG for bargains, this is your paradise. I rarely find what I am looking for when I pop in and usually leave feeling dirty because. well, the store is filthy with crap everywhere. It’s chaos. You can get a bangin deal on mix and match swim suits… they are not name brand — I saw a lot of target brand stuff this time but there were about $ 4 a piece.

This store is really bad The store itself is filthy Some of the items where unwashed It seems this is the outlet that purchases the unsold items from other outlet stores These items are not new. We will not return

Be ware of Luz the manager who looked at me & said $ 49& snatched the jacket out of my hand & walked away. I explained to the cashier it was in the 60% off rack & asked they get a similar jacket to price check. They refused. They are racist because if I was white I would have been treated better. This is unacceptable & unprofessional & abusive. I spend hundreds of dollars at this store &have recommended it to many but NOMORE. I will never go back & I will tell EVERYONE to NEVER shop here

This is the most cluttered store ever. Most of the items are broken or stained. Beware when coming here. You literally get what you pay for. I’ve tried going a few different times and won’t be back.

I’m a fan, in moderation. You can find great deals on new clothes at Half of Half but you have to really work at it. Lots of hunting around looking at the item and then looking for stain or damage. If all looks good you still need to try the stuff on. And then after you decide on an item, look it over REALLY well — again — because you can sometimes miss the small holes or cuts in fabric. My fix for the really small holes or cuts — go to Joannes Fabrics and buy a small pack of «IRONONMENDINGFABRIC». You cut a piece of the mending fabric just a bit bigger then the cut or hole. Lay the garment inside out on an ironing board. First iron the hole/cut smooth and make sure it’s lined up and cut edges touching. Lay the mending fabric over it — inside of fabric. Iron it down with a dry hot iron(or follow instructions on the mending fabric packaging. When you do it right the hole disappears and doesn’t come back. I’ve got one top that I’ve warn and washed about 8 times so far and it’s still holding tight.

You just really can’t go wrong with this place. Yes, they have a few items with busted zippers and scuff marks, but the majority of the items are A+++. Make sure to allocate 2 – 3 hours of time because you will need it. The aisles are really narrow, but didn’t have that hard of a time squeezing past the other shoppers.

Half of Half is one of my favorite places to shop. You can snag some amazing deals on designer clothes if you know when to go. If you sign up for their insider list, you receive an e-mail each week listing what brands or deals are new. The best day to go is Wednesday morning – that’s when all the new stuff is out. Somedays I look down at my outfit and realize everything I have on is from Half of Half – Free People top, J Brand jeans, and Steve Madden shoes, oh my! Sure, sometimes you have to dig, but like I said, if you go on Wednesday, you probably won’t. They label the racks well, but as the week progresses, things get spread out. As the other reviewers said, the clothes may have a small spot or tear on the seam, but I’m more than willing to wash the shirt or sew a few quick stitches for clothes I love at half of half of the original price!

They have a huge selection of clothes! BUTBEWARNED– always check for holes/rips/stains because unfortunately most of the clothes do have them. I love shopping here because of the prices. Sometimes they have color tag sales where the prices are even lower than the price tag! I’m always able to walk out with at least 10 – 15 different clothes all for under $ 100. I admit it takes a lot of work and hunting to find the real good stuff because of the organization, but trust me, there’s always good stuff. There are plenty of dressing rooms, but they have the odd curtain doors, so I always go to the last room to avoid any probable embarrassing mishaps while I’m changing.

I just stopped in here for the first time and was fascinated. It’s not a thrift store — the clothes are new. They are cast-offs from department stores. That means there’s a lot of great stuff that was returned or never sold. On the other hand, a lot of them have small marks, stains, or tears on them and that’s why they were returned or weren’t sell-able. If it’s just a cheap t-shirt with a stain, it’s not worth it. But if you find a high-quality pair of pants or a dress with a little mark on it, chances are you can get it out and you’ve come away with a steal. Unique concept. I came away yesterday with a little tank top and a great pair of pants, both high quality and flawless. I paid $ 15 for the pants and $ 9 for the shirt, so it ends up being Target level prices, but a higher quality product. They have lots of merchandise and I’m sure I could find anything there. You have to dig, though, because it’s organized by the store that they got the clothes from. So, if I’m looking for pants, I have to look in multiple aisles if I want to be thorough. Still, for me, this place rocked.

I wouldn’t consider this place a ‘thrift store’ its kind of like a closeout store, they do have some used things there as well. It isn’t my go-to shopping choice for deals but it isn’t a bad place to check out to see if they have anything good(you never know). They do have a huge selection of clothing available so if you have never been go look around!
