If there were six stars available they’d get it from me. Some of the best Thai food in the US. Price is great. Service is friendly and efficient. Same staff for years. Shout out to Cairo, Jib, Paul and Rosie! Love this place!!!

Noodle wave at its best is phenomenal. A place I rave to friends, coworkers, and everyone in between. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have placed it in the below average category. I just don’t know what I will be getting when I enter– out of this world, fresh, aromatic, well seasoned food of days past or day-old-tasting, rubbery, pungent food as recent experience indicates. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where the food quality has oscillated so severely. And don’t get me started on the service. To sum it up: absolutely dismal. Sadly it may be time for me to move on and get my weekly drunken noodle fix elsewhere.

I love everything about this place. The décor, the customer service, the way they plate the food so nicely. I’ve never been disappointed by the taste or presentation. No matter what I try on the menu, it’s always delicious. I will come again soon.

We called restaurant to verify it was halal. Restaurant is beautiful. Dishes are beautifully served. Service is excellent. Menu has a good variety and has descriptions of each dish. We had the shrimp blankets, yellow curry, crispy chicken with green curry, and the banana pastry dessert. Yellow curry needed softer potatoes, other than that I have no complaints. The dipping sauces for the shrimp was different yet delicious(vs. The store bought sweet chilli sauce you usually get). My favorite part was the dessert, it was like a Thai banana split. I had it with Thai coffee ice cream.

The best panang and green curry I’ve had in Texas, to date. If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and you love Thai food, this place is a must.

Still one of my faves. Today I went in to get lunch to go. We got Spicy Soba with Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai.(If there is a website with a menu I could not find/it’s difficult to find, so that is what keeps me from a 5) I walked in and was sat at the bar to order lunch. I ordered and was asked by 3 different people if I wanted water while I waited. I declined but nice to know they were covering their bases. After a few minutes a gentleman came over and laid down a cup of soup and a water. I said I had a to-go order and he said«yes it will be a few minutes so here.» The soup was really tasty. It was a chicken broth with lots or rice, cilantro and something I could not put my finger on. I was happy to have tried it and eat it again. Still the same amazing service and great fresh food. We have never been disappointed here.

Just finished eating there and I have to say it was excellent. I have been there so many times and I would say 90−95% of the time the food has been on point. The house salad with that sweet house dressing is excellent. We also had the Pad Kee Mow, another great dish. Always a very clean place as well. Here is a pic.

The sign was missing some letters so my expectations were kind of low to be honest when we got there. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was not amazing, but it was still good. I enjoyed the pad thai the best. I got the panang curry which was good, but I felt like it could have been a little better. I came with several friends and one friend got the pad thai which we all loved. I can’t really remember what the others got, but they did not like their as much either. It’s a huge plus in my book that this place is zabihah, and the price is reasonable as well. The food came out in a timely manner, the staff wasn’t the most receptive because we came in 30 minutes before their closing time which does not seem that outrageous to me. Bathroom was relatively clean. All in all, this place was good.

This is around my third time eating at Noodle Wave and I’ll definitely be coming back! Tonight I had the Almond Sriracha Chicken spicy level 2. The chicken was tender, the rice was fresh, and it was spicy but not burning hot. The ambience is BEAUTIFUL! The decorations are warm and cozy while still looking classy. The only thing I would say might need improvement is the speed of service. We were seated right away but every time I come here is takes a bit longer than normal to get our order taken, get out food, and then get our check. There normally only seems to be 2 waitresses and a manager though so they might just be understaffed. It’s not normally a ridiculously long time, just a little longer that normal so it might be a good place to go if you want to relax and talk awhile.

When I first drove up to Noodle Wave, I was definitely very skeptical. I have never been to this part of Dallas before, and it was definitely sketchy. If several people I knew hadn’t raved about Noodle Wave, we would have left right away. Food — 4⁄5 1. Pad see ew — This was a good standard pad see ew. I wish it had more vegetables though. 2. Roti chicken curry — The curry sauce was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I liked that were very plenty of carrots and potatoes. The portion seemed very generous, but there wasn’t very much chicken and the sauce was dry. The highlight of the dish was the paratha(the bread on the side). It’s basically like an unrolled croissant and absolutely divine. Service — 1⁄5 We came in around 5, so it definitely wasn’t busy. There were more tables seated as we started to eat, but they seated us in a far corner of the restaurant away from other tables. Thus, we were basically neglected the entire time. When I needed ask for extra silverware, I had to go up to the staff, because no one was paying attention to us. I haven’t had very many other Thai places in DFW, but I think Noodle Wave is good in comparison to the others I’ve tried.

I haven’t had good Thai food in a long time! My friend ST was in from San Fran and she recommended we reconnect here for a lunch. We got there at 1115am and the restaurant filled up quickly, by the time we left, ALL of the tables were full. So, get there early. You’ll want time to appreciate the food and look over the menu. Their online menu does not do them justice and needs to be updated. However, thanks to my fellow Unilocalers, I had an idea of what to order. The Crispy Garlic Fish or the real crab meat spicy rice noodles? Good thing my friends like to share family style so we tried LOTS of different dishes! Get the Lemongrass sweet tea, it is delicious. ST got there a few minutes earlier and placed the order for the Crispy Garlic Fish as it takes a little more time to prepare. She started us off with the Tempura Asian Water Spinach. It was a large dish, plenty to share with a party of 4, stacked up and topped with beautiful freshly shredded veggies. The sauce was delicious and I suspect had a little peanut in it. One of our friends was late and I had to force myself to put down the chopsticks to leave her some. We ordered the Chicken Basil Fried Rice, Spicy Crab Noodles, Shrimp Blankets and a little cup of soup. My soup had a solitary peanut in it which was odd but I still ate it all. My other friend ordered a big bowl of Yen Tah Foh, which is a spicy red seafood soup. It must have been good because she did not share(insert slight scowl). The Crispy Garlic Fish showed up before our entrees and at $ 14 I considered it a steal. Yes, there are bones and yes, it’s looking right at you but the risk is worth it. The skin is so crispy and before you start pulling it apart to share, you simply must pour the special sauce all over it so it can soak it up. I don’t normally eat skin, much less fish skin, but it is wonderful. It was covered with lots of minced garlic and sat on a bed of veggies that helped soak up the sauce. The fried rice and crab noodles were delicious. The Shrimp Blanket was supposed to have crab meat inside as well but that was missing. Overall, the fried fish was the show stopper and I will come back for that alone. It is paired with a simple big bowl of steamed rice. The waitress forgot my Lemongrass tea to go but I can forgive little glitches if the food is excellent. The food comes out pretty quick too and everyone is friendly. As I looked around the full restaurant upon exit, I noticed that the crowd was pretty diverse. That’s a good thing, it means they’re consistent and keep people coming back. The four of us got out of there for $ 17 each, including tip. That’s a little pricey for lunch, sure, but it was a special occasion!

What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said? Noodle Wave is in my top 3 list of Thai restaurants in the Dallas area. The complex it’s located in is a little run down but the restaurant itself is nice on the inside. It’s pretty small and pretty popular so you will almost always have to wait a couple minutes for a table to clear. You can’t go wrong with any of the noodles here. I love the pad see eew and pad kee mow. Their highest level of spice isn’t too impressive so I always gotta get some extra peppers on the side. My only beef with Noodle Wave is they took the Mussaman curry off the menu but no matter, their other curries are still good. We decided to venture out and try something new with the appetizers and got the tempura mushroom(new addition to the appetizer menu) and noodle wave wings. Both were decent but would I get them again? Probably not.

Noodle Wave is a Thai restaurant in Richardson that is an excellent location for enjoying some authentic Thai dishes. It also serves meat Halal style, which is a benefit for those who have that type of dietary restriction. My Overall Rating — 2 ½ Stars(Atmosphere, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Noodle Wave is located in a shopping strip. While the parking lot has plenty of parking, the design of the lot requires you to walk pass the road that brings cars in. Just be careful as it can get busy. Once you pass through the beautifully detailed & carved door, you’ll enter the restaurant. It’s a bit tight to accommodate plenty of tables and chairs. On our weeknight visit it was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table(not sure what it’s like during lunch). Décor is a bit cluttered and mixed together, but that’s purely subjective. ½ Star. Service — While our server was very nice, service was very slow. I’m not sure if they were short staffed, but it took quite some time between when we would see our server. And as the restaurant got very busy, it took a very long time for us to settle our bill and just leave. Either they need to hire more staff or we got unlucky. No Star. Food — I will say, Noodle Wave is very good. In fact, it has been around for years so I can see why so many people visit. We started with a softshell crab salad. It was delicious, with fresh greens mixed in a light vinaigrette. In fact, it’s a dish that I have commonly seen at Japanese/sushi restaurants so having this on the menu and being very good was a bonus. We also ordered the whole fried fish. It’s market price and will vary by size, but our snapper was a very good size, served with fresh vegetables. After reading and seeing many photos of the roti curry, we had to order this. It’s served with a side of rice and some grilled bread similar to naan. Great for dipping in the curry or to use when cleaning your plate. Also, Noodle Wave has Halal prepared dishes in the event you have dietary needs. Overall a very satisfying meal. 1 ½ Stars. Will I Return? — If I remember. While Noodle Wave is great, and I can see why it’s crowded, I honestly forget that it’s there. I’m sure(at least I hope) our experience with the service was an anomaly. Overall our meal was great, but I can’t really see myself craving to come back unless I just happen to be in the area. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

This Thai gen is hidden off Coit in strip malls. Looks can definitely be deceiving when describing this pot of gold. The restaurant closes at 10. We arrived at 8:50 and the place was slammed. The décor and ambience was welcoming, and the portions(from afar looked filling.) Anytime I eat Thai, shrimp in a blanket is a must. I appreciated the twist Noodle Wave brought. They were accompanied with the typical sweet and sour but also brought spicy mayo. My date ordered the chicken satay. Nothing to rave about. However, bring out the glow sticks! The Siracha beef bowl was incredible, and incredibly spicy because he ordered the hottest. If you like that heat– go for it! Both the need and the Siracha almond chicken I ordered come on a bed of jasmine rice. I smelled the aroma of the species when they brought my chicken: fried cutlets of chicken, minced almond a top jasmine rice with the Siracha and what tastes a bit like a blend of peanut sauce poured over. Service was perfectly timely, especially when it came to refilling our waters. I enjoy a good kick with my food but enough to be able to taste my meal. Noodle wave did that enjoyment justice! Look forward to my next visit. Two people are for $ 40(4 dishes) that’s a bargain, and we had left overs. They are not stingy with their portions. Note, it’s not one of these places that loads up on rice and little protein. It was evenly distributed. For the curry and noodle lovers, the red curry and pad Thai look delectable and are served in enormous portions.

This place is really good. I appreciate a place that has different things on their menu but stay true to their roots. I am what they call a spring roll addict. I could swim in a pool of spring rolls, and be happy for the rest of my life. So when I saw«smoked salmon spring rolls» I think I almost fainted. They were pretty good. The peanut sauce it came with was excellent. I had the roti curry. LETMETELLYOU, you can have to try the house made roti here. It is almost like a flaky puff pastry naan. I have never tried anything like it before. it should be on the top 100 things you should eat in your life. If you are a big thai person, this dish reminds me of panang curry. It is almost a fusion of Thai and Indian curries together. sweet and spicy. My husband had the thai coconut soup. For me it was a little bit too soupy, and I’ve had it better at other places. We tried the black rice dessert and the fried ice cream. They were okay. I wouldn’t get the black rice ice cream, the fried ice cream had too much of a deep fried flavor to it. The service and staff is great here. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are really big.

Hands down, my favorite Thai restaurant in DFW. I am from Southeast Asia, so you can say I know what good Thai food should taste like. I think they come pretty close to being authentic because the flavors of all their dishes are really robust! Everything is seasoned right and nothing is bland or catered to the average American palate. They can get pretty busy, so thank goodness they take reservations for a party of 6 or more. We’ve celebrated a few parties here, bringing our own bottle of wine to enjoy. They can handle a big crowd and we never really have to wait long for our food. If you were to ask me what is my favorite dish here, it would be a very very hard question to answer. Seriously, everything I’ve tried here is good! But my usuals are ladna, pad kee mao, crab fried rice, basil chicken and papaya salad. Be careful out in the parking lot though! It’s kind of in a sketchy shopping center and sometimes I don’t feel safe walking to my car when it’s dark outside. Maybe I’m just paranoid because I’ve never had anyone bother me. They do have a second location in Mckinney, which is closer to my home, but you know nothing is ever as good as the original.

It’s a cute little place for you to try Thai food! Their food doesn’t make me that happy, but their service deserves these 3 stars! Even though here is not my best choice, I still like their soft-shell-crab noodles. Try it if you come
