Palm Beach Tan

I’ve been a member of Palm Beach for a long time. It’s only because of the convenience of their locations-​I travel a lot. This is the closest salon to my home and the one I go to most often during my lunch break. They had an amazing employee (I think her name was Miranda) who called everyone by their name as soon as they walked in. She was friendly and professional. Unfortunately that only lasted for a month or two and then she was gone. My last two visits to this salon were the worst I’ve had here yet. One time I came in and instead of putting me in a bed for the full time (bed 3 for 12 minutes) the employee (I think her name is Bailey) put me in for 3 minutes. So after I’ve gotten prepared to tan and get in the bed it goes off in three minutes and now I have to get dressed again and go find an employee to fix the error and then go back in undress and start all over. That took my whole lunch break. Then today I went in and said I wanted to go into a bed for ten minutes and then mystic. I got out of the bed and this same employee tells me someone is in the mystic and I also have to wait for someone else. I was livid. I called in the manager who told her she was wrong and I was ahead of both of them. So I had to wait 15 – 20 minutes in the lobby while someone behind me went first. And then to my surprise when the girl comes out she begins chatting with the employee– obviously friends. So if you pay $ 90 per month for 5+ years, you will never be appreciated and God forbid the 18 year old employee has a friend or two… go ahead and kiss your lunch break goodbye. I also absolutely despise their aggressive sales approach every time I go in. My god, ladies, how much lotion does one person need??? I walk in with two bottles and they try to sell me more!

I stopped in here to get a spray tan while in the area. There’s plenty of parking out front in the private lot. The staff here is very friendly. The facility itself is very bright and clean.
My only complaint is that there isn’t a heater for the spray tan. For anyone who has gotten a spray tan without the heater, you know my pain! It’s SO cold. It’s just so uncomfortable to be sprayed with a cold liquid then be hosed down by cold air. I would definitely recommend that they get heaters like the other Palm Beach locations have.
This is a decent place to stop in to get a tan.

The girls here rock! Most of them call me by name and are very friendly.

The worst experience I have ever had in a salon. Period!

The staff were on their phones while they are supposed to be paying attention to me the paying customer. I am not supposed to be waiting on them.
