The service is excellent. The Vietnamese coffee is so good. The food portion is big and each dish taste very good. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I just had Phở OK! for the first time today for lunch and I can say the food is pretty good. I like places that serves authentic Vietnamese food and this place do. I tried the Spring Rolls and I love the fact that they use real pork and not steam pork rolls. I like that they give me lots of peanuts with my spring roll sauce. I also had the Vermicelli noodles with pork and egg rolls. It was pretty good and I like that the eggs rolls were big and you get two of them. The pork is marinaded just perfectly. Its not too sweet or bland. The light fish sauce that goes with it is light and refreshing. I loved it so much that I asked them for more. The place looks very clean and comfortable because the tables and chairs aren’t crammed up so close to the next table like most places. There’s actually room for you to pull your chair out and sit comfortably without worrying about hitting someone else’s chair behind you. I will definitely be back and I will be trying the Bun Bo Hue next since everyone is raving about it on Unilocal

The best phở on the north side of Dallas! I’ve tried every phở diner at least once; I’ve been back to Phở Ok more than 15 times. I cannot speak to the Bo Bun Hoe or Vermicelli because I love Phở Tai, and Phở Ok makes an excellent broth — they do not add MSG; they stick to traditional recipes. Their traditional Vietnamese coffee also sets them above too many other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The owners are extremely friendly and kind. They may occasionally be too attentive and helpful — but at Phở Tai I’ve never had the feeling of being in a traditional American restaurant, thank god.(Much of the value of eating phở, besides the health of bone broth, is not being plagued by servers interrupting you to ask questions that any intelligent observer can see clearly from a distance.) Phở Ok remains my favorite lunch destination!

I’m surprise that this place is not busier. So that worries me. I came here for lunch. And I ordered the vermicelli with pork, shrimp, and an egg roll. Also the spring rolls. The spring rolls are good. I just with the sauce was served warm. Other than that, it’s delicious! Did them in shriracha for some spice! The vermicelli was very fresh! The noodles were fresh. The meat is very good. As mentioned in another review the egg roll was quite doughy. And the shrimp had a different taste. It has that xa xui/char siu taste to the shrimp. I could gone without it. –1 star due to them taking 10 minutes for my spring rolls when the restaurant was empty. Sorry! Forgot to take pictures!

Love this place! The best phở around… noodles are in another league and the Family run business has a great, very clean and very causal feel has my repeated visits. Try #8!

This place is OK. I had the grilled pork vermicelli. I was surprised the noodles were hot, real hot. I’m used to them cold to rm temp. It was still good. The grilled pork had a pleasant smokey flavor. You’d think all grill pork should have a smoky flavor. It also came with 2 huge egg rolls. These were ok. Not very crispy and lots of «dough». I want to try their Phở and their BBH. The staff were nice. I will be back.

Just tried it for the first time today. I had the Phở Tai Bo Vien. Large size was definitely large enough. Taste was good and standard as expected. Clean place and nice owners/staff. Right by Post Eastside and better prices/portions compared to the Phở Crimson at that complex. Good, convenient place for a post workout meal with the 24 hour fitness close by. I’ll be back.

We came in for phở on the way back from the university and loved it! I had the beef tenderloin phở, and the broth was nice and complex. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was attentive, warm, and gracious. We will definitely be back.

I don’t like their phở and other soups. I really like their spring rolls though. But that’s pretty much it. Also, one of the waiters that works there doesn’t speak english so I expereinced some hardships because of that… There’s so many great phở places in Richardson so I can’t find a reason to come here… Their phở is just ok…

This is a great little mom and pop shop. When I came in and got the menu… it was simple and straight to the point. They have a small list of items compared to a lot of the other phở shops in the area. In addition, the restaurant was clean and didnt have that chlorinated smell I often deal with when you get into one of these phở shop. I stuck with the phở tai bo vien, which has always been a classic. The broth was good… and not fatty, which I like as I am getting a little heftier day by day. The noodle texture and size was perfect for me. In addition, the filet mignon was tender when it came out, which is often not the case with some other places where its overcooked and comes out like rubber. My only complaint was that I thought their dac biet rice plate special was the traditional pork and egg and rice plate… but ended up as a combination fired rice. They may have gotten the order mixed up… but I should have clarified what I wanted.

I was hesitated to try when I didn’t see many cars outside. Turn out, it closed on Sunday. This restaurant can get real busy during lunch hour. I like to come here for lunch between classes. The phở here is definitely better than the phở at UTD cafeteria. The food portion is big for decent price; perfect for students. The staffs are very friendly. The service is excellent. I recommend Phở and Com Suon Bo Dai Han.

Phở is good but it’s the last time I’m coming here. Service is better than the first time I came. My problem with this place is sanitation. The owners bring their child to work and they let him do whatever he wants. I just witnessed him stick his action figure Power Ranger toy into the ice machine. He then proceeds to grab the tongs for the lemons and plays with that. The toy has been in his mouth and on the ground. This is not something you want in a ice machine. The second I saw this I stopped drinking the ice water I got. I’m quite ill from thinking about what could be in my drink.

They have the best phở(my taste). It’s a family own restaurant, so I everyone here is friendly. My first impression: I took my friends here for lunch one day. I was not so sure because the name is phở ok and it likes kinda empty outside. Anyway, my friend is not Asian so he didn’t like the coffee he ordered and did not drink much. The owner noticed, so he did not charged for that coffee when we checked out. So it was very nice!

As this was only my second time having phở, I do not have a lot of experience with what is good or not. I can tell you that here, I was greeted warmly by a man whom I suspect is the owner. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the chicken noodle phở. The rolls were excellent and I would go back for more. The phở was ok but the chicken was a little dry. Being a phở newbie, I don’t know if this is normal or not, so I slurped down the broth and noodles. All in all, a tasty lunch, decent portions and if I am in the area again, I would go back

I really enjoy the Phở here everything is very fresh. The meat isn’t pre cooked and the broth is very savory. I work close by so it’s definitely at the top of my list for food choices during the week.

On my third attempt(first two, credit card machine not working and I almost never carry cash) was able to give Phở Ok a whirl. Family owned location, that is still trying to get it’s legs under it. Somewhat clunky/awkward table service(albeit polite) with what I believe to be owner. Phở was OK; broth immature and light, as it seems like the place needs to develop its rhythm before I would consider it running on all cylinders. Will let it get things down before a re-visit, but proximty to my work location makes it an ideal spot!

Finally a Phở place that is more than OK :) My friends and I decided to go checkout this new phở place on Campbell and 75 that just opened this week. The service was quite good considering that they just opened. Also it is very clean and I can only hope they will maintain it. As to the food, it was all good. I personally ordered the Phở(P1). The broth was tasty and I of course spiked it up the way I like it! What I liked was that it was not oily, and best part was it was not too salty like the way others make it. I would say it is quite healthy as far as Phở is concerned. I could have personally settled for more meat in my Phở, but its definitely very good and I would go back any day for it. My wife had the vermicelli & grilled chicken breast dish and that was really good as well. Our friends ordered the traditional Vietnamese dish called Bun Bo Hue which is a spicier broth dish with all kinds of interesting stuff in it. Supposedly this dish is really hard to make and there is only one restaurant in Dallas that does a descent job, which incidentally happens to be located right next door to Phở OK called Tay Do. Allegedly people drive for over an hour to eat at Tay Do for this Bun Bo Hue dish. Their feedback was that Tay Do better start quivering because Phở OK’s Bun Bo Hue knocks the socks off Tay Do’s version, and also provides a great alternative for people who want a change of atmosphere from time to time. I highly recommend Phở OK and my silly prediction is that in 6 months, Phở OK will change its name to Phở Awesome :) Enjoy!
