definately not worth the price-yikes-‘upscale steakhouse’ for a romantic dinner, but the design of the place is open(and noisy) prices are high(expect to spend $ 100 or more on dinner for two, especially with drinks).First waitress was young and ‘curt’.another, older one took over and was a pleasant surprise(she would be the only reason to return) bang shrimp appetizer good, but delmonico steak not tenderand not cooked correctly, but i will not send food back unless date’s fish was undercooked also… I miss Houston’s Steakhouse-good food, attentive, professional servers(although our second one was great).White haired gentleman floating around talking to folks(maybe he is the owner?, but dressed very casually) had a very plastic smile-guess someone was happy they were getting my money-ugh-won’t be going back

The worst thing was the young people who do not know how to smile, make you feel at hoome and be attentive. For the price they need to hire professional wait staff and not just young people who look good and are«learning». So, don’t go if people looking you in the eyes when they speak to you is important to you. They are kids who could care less if you are there, now actually you being there seems to mean they are mad because they have to work. Other than that: Overpriced food, though the food was a bit above average, but I didn’t have the steak. If you are going for steak you will be happy I think. My friend loved his steak. The atmosphere, which is like a very upscale bordello was kind of cool.

OK Ive driven by this place for several years and have always wanted to try it, but never really had the time. But, this weekend we were invited to a birthday party dinner. We were a group of 16 to 18 people. I was impressed by the staff and the food., We all had drinks, they kept them coming and our water glasses full. I really liked that they remembered what I was drinking along with the others at the table. The appetizers were good and so were the salads that were ordered. I had the fried shrimp platter, which was wonderful, yes it is a stake house, but I dont eat red meat. But every one else that had beef was just blown away, it looked so good, that. Also the sea bass tasted great, I will order that next time. The deserts were also very good. I was just impressed with the whole event, they really took care of us. Even when we moved around they knew what we ordered. Yes, the cost of dinner was on the high side, for my budget, but it was all so wonderful. It was what it use to be like years ago when you went to out to a nice dinner. Yes I will go back. Again I was blown away with the service and the attention that was given to our party. OK, here are some of the things we ordered that were just killer Crabmeat Firecrackers, VooDoo Scallops, Bang Bang Shrimp Wedge(salad) Fried Shrimp, Filet Mignon, Sea Bass, Texas Ribs, Quail, and the list goes on, It was wonderful !

Food was just ok but it is way over priced. Ordered steak medium but it came out medium rare. We felt rushed by our waitress. The entertainment they had was really great.

Exceptional service, starting with the waiter, and ending with owner, all made my evening very enjoyable. Steak was cooked perfectly, and one of the best ribeye’s I’ve had. Appetizer of firecrackers was different but very good. Would have a tough time choosing between them and Del Friscos Double Eagle in Fort Worth. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Excellent food, and even better service, they are totally attentive and never had to wait on them to do anything, cleaned the crumbs off the table and surprised our graduate with a free piece of cake with a sparkler on it.

We had the crabmeat firecrackers, wedge salad, and ribs. Loved the bread too. Everything was really good – ribs had a great flavor. The only reason for 4⁄5 is that our waitress was not that helpful when we had questions about the menu and either described the appetizer wrong or they ran out of jalapeño and used bell pepper instead?

Wonderful night out with the family. Everything was great. Steak Delmonico and Lobster Thermidor were top notch entrees. The fried quail legs app was tasty. Crusty bread was an added treat. Great service by Melissa made our night perfect.

This place was so cool. The ambiance and décor is so neat and so very Texas! My husband had a steak and I had a fish dish. There were a ton of side choices and we ordered a variety of them. The bread is baked fresh and is that yummy pull apart delicious kind of bread. Yummy on everything. Will totally go back on my next trip to Richardson.

Absolutely Amazing! We started with Crab Cakes… They were sooo good with lots of crab topped with lobster sauce. Steak…probably the best I’ve ever had, Melt in your mouth goodness with Whipped potatoes and burnt corn double YUMM! If you love a red blend get Caricature, my new favorite wine! We had 2 bottles if that tells you anything. We finished our meal with the whiskey bread pudding which was delicious. My least favorite of the night: Sea Bass was just okay, I believe it lacked flavor and was slightly under cooked. The lyonnaise potatoes were also just okay, I believe the whipped potatoes were a better choice! I was a little disappointed that they ran out of ribs. Overall I will definitely go back, it was a great overall experience with live music, magician, and amazing customer service. We even had a visit from the owner of the restaurant which was a pleasant surprise! This restaurant will be added into our regular rotation.

Texas knows steak! We started with the crab meat firecrackers which were delicious. I enjoyed the filet medallions which Were so flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. I had the green beans and whipped potatoes which were good. But do wish they had more sides to select from, all very basic. Although we had no room for dessert, we couldn’t resist the whiskey bread pudding with ice cream on the side. Amazing! Great location, wonderful service, delicious food. Well done!

I decided to try this place out on my first week living in Richardson, because it’s really close to my house. From the highway, it can be perceived that it is a casual restaurant, but it is very much so formal. I felt a little out of place, but I decided to eat anyway because I had already been seated. The staff here is really professional and they have great customer service. The owner came out and thanked me, and shook my hand, for choosing to dine at his restaurant. The menu was standard American. The food was good and the wine selection was good as well. It was very clean on the dining floor and very clean in the bathroom as well. The restaurant has upstairs seating and private dining rooms for large groups. I though it was a great value for dinner. I would eat there again.

Came here for a date night. Service: wait staff was great. Ambiance: higher end of casual dining. There was a live musician playing his guitar and saxophone on Saturday night. Food: the onion ringer are hand breaded in house. Super yummy. The burnt corn and crab bisque was delicious. The Delmonico steak was cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. Will come back here again!

Amazing food and amazing service. I left my wallet on the table, the staff turned it in and the owner fed-ex’d it to me overnight. Everything was still in it. I admire their integrity. If they care that much about helping people think about how much they care about the food and experience.

Steaks are not good here. We ordered the Delmonico Steak and the Filet Mignon. Both cuts were not nearly as tender as they should be. Was not impressed for the price associated with the dish. Their Roasted Sea Bass with lobster sauce was the show-stopper. We dined here on Christmas Eve and a limited menu was offered. Not sure if we would come back.

I keep asking myself, «Why have I not found this place before??» You can easily drive by this restaurant not realizing the kind of experience you are missing out on. First tip. ladies(and gents too I suppose), be prepared for a long walk to the front door from your car. The parking lot gets full so you may find yourself walking the distance. I came here for a business dinner on a Tuesday evening. We reserved a private room so when I checked in, I was immediately led upstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the large group of business professionals very well into their Happy Hour drinks on the second level. I was very impressed with the décor and ambiance. I felt like I was in a fancy southern saloon. The private room was perfect for a party of 8 and had a comfortable setting. We started with an appetizer sampler which were individual servings of 2 Bang Bang Shrimp, 1 crabcake, and 1 devil’s tongue(beef tenderloin on toast). Can you say yummy with me? Loved them all. Bang Bang shrimp was flavorful and had a nice kick, crabcake was delish, and beef tenderloin was very tender. I had the 8 oz filet with burnt corn and lyonnaise potatoes as my sides. My steak was cooked perfectly but in my honest opinion, could have used more flavor. I liked my sides but weren’t too impressed. When it was time for dessert and you ask about their selection, allow yourself a good 5 minutes for your server to list and describe every option. because yes, they have that many. perhaps too many! I chose the strawberry romanoff which was just mediocre. If you come for any reason, come for the experience this restaurant will give you. Before our food arrived, a professional magician came into our room and gave us our own magic show. We were soooo amazed! It was certainly enjoyable and entertaining. The entire wait staff was also courteous and not to mention fun! What topped it off is Dale, the owner, came to our room, greeted us and spoke to us for some time. He made us feel welcomed, made sure we were well taken care of, but best of all, he connected with us. And if you didn’t know. Dale founded Del Frisco’s steak restaurant and III Forks but later sold off. He now owns and only operates this restaurant which he describes as «the end of the road».

Consistently good food. The menu is not too big, but provides the staples you’d expect and enough variety to make it easy to come back with frequency. The Bang bang shrimp is a strong appetizer. The Wedge salad is notable good. The steak salad is a great entrée salad if you don’t want a heavy meal Delmonico is a good cut and cooked properly Quail was not my favorite as its wrapped in bacon which really dominates the flavor, but definitely not bad. Sea Bass was wonderful, have ordered several times. Sides — I always get the burnt corn and then green beans or roasted vegetables. They sometimes get carried away with the amount of oil they cook these in, but they are always tasty. The Lyonnaise potatoes are really good, but I usually pass on them for a healthier option. The atmosphere is very nice without being dressy. People come in dressed up from work or casual wearing jeans. Most of the waiters wear jeans, vest, bolo tie and some even cowboy hats. On tuesdays they usually have a magician that floats around and does tricks and the owner is always on the floor checking in on people. One time we were in, he asked if he had given us his business cards, to which we replied he hadn’t, so he handed us all a deck of cards with the restaurant name and his caricature on it.

Wife and I were craving Lobster Thermidor for dinner and this was the only place with good ratings and within a 10 mile radius that had it, so we made the drive. The parking lot was full, understandable for a Saturday night, but we were lucky and got a spot close to the front door. The hostess who welcomed us was friendly, as most of the other staff we encountered. Everyone working here was dressed in Texas themed outfits. The restaurant décor was interesting. Fresh cut flowers in vases placed near every booth, painted walls, and antique looking light fixtures and booths. There was no wait and we were seated in a corner booth overlooking the front door with a view of the rest of the dining area and the wine rack. The only issue with our booth location was the cold air draft every time the front door was opened, but this was not a deal breaker. The restaurant was full with mostly senior citizens at the time we visited and a little loud with people chatting. Country music played in the background to go with the Texas theme. An older gentleman whom I presume is the owner walked around and greeted all the diners. He stopped by our booth to welcome us and ensured we were comfortable. Our waiter Mark was attentive and quick to take our orders. He just forgot the bread, but another waiter quickly brought it to us. We ordered the House Pinot wine and the Texas long island ice tea for drinks. Crab and corn soup for appetizer, and the lobster thermidor for the entrée. The wine was good, the Texas long island ice tea was sweet, but was weak on alcohol. The crab and corn soup was tasty. The lobster thermidor was worth the $ 38 for the plate and our drive to this restaurant. Overall, a good experience for a dinner date.
