I went to Dr Abigail’s office 6 months ago for my bunion. My check up went very quick and smooth and 3 weeks after he did a surgery on me. The day after my surgery, he called to check my progress and told me what to do if I feel discomfort. His phone call is very appreciated. I will definitely come back here if I have another foot problems. I will highly recommend Dr Abigail to anyone who has foot problems. I also like the way he jokes.

Went in for an ingrown toenail, I was checked in promptly, saw dr Abigail who removed the ingrown part, the procedure was a breeze. Dr Abigail’s jokes and kept my mind at ease and away from seeing the needle. I was in and out within the hour. They did not mind I had 2 small kids with me.

I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Timothy Abigail, and spent less then 5 to 10 minutes with him on both visits. On both appointments, he seemed very rushed, was not very friendly, and doesn’t seem to treat his assistants very well. Instead, he seemed more interested in selling inserts and setting up follow up appointments before dashing out then providing the degree of attention that you would expect for the appointment that I was already there to meet him for. I will definitely find a different Podiatrist to go to going forwards.

I had bunion surgery due to Dr. Abigail’s assurance that he did so many and that mine would be straightforward. 2 years later my big toe does not touch the ground and is pointed up and I am not able to walk barefooted anymore.
Find another doctor.

I’ve gone to Dr. Abigail last summer for an ingrown toenail! I was hoping he would take the whole toenail. I wanted the whole toenail normally, but he only did a partial! Which later after grew half way back, it broke off! Now, the toenail is all messed up! I can’t get a pedicure like this!

after reading my review for Dr. Timothy Abigail of Metroplex foot and Ankle of Dallas will submit their reviews with similar experience so that together, so we can prevent others from going thru the same trouble.
I spent fair amount of time finding what I thought was a good practice and good doctor, but, after seeing this doc twice and spending over $ 500.00 plus buying products from the office for which I had to pay from my pocket, my foot pain is still the same. He sold me $ 45.00 worth of special sole to use for my shoes and during my 2^nd visit, I told him, that the sole the he sold me was not helping me, he sold me another item for $ 5.00 which was even worst. I put away both items in the box that he gave me and contacted Pat Lewis (billing dept) about 2 weeks ago and Pat told me she would have to talk to her billing manager and get back to me. She never did get back to me, so I called her and was told she had not been able to talk to her billing manager because she was not available. I finally decided to return the items so I did certified return with signature request and spent $ 8.00 to mail. She called me on Friday (1÷25÷13) and said she received the items and talked to Dr Abigail and Dr Abigail said that they could not give me credit because there was some wear. I told her I had not wore that thing for more than a week, how could there be a wear? If I had bought the sole from any store, I would have gotten the credit if returned with original box and receipt. Anyways, I personally believe that Drs like Timothy Abigail and his collegues at Metroplex Foot and Ankle sell these stuff to many of their patients and charge them too much money. Have had multiple procedures done on myself and kids involving ingrown toenails. Never fun. But he did a good job.

Dr. Abigail has treated me for plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, & bunions (1 growing inward & causing bones to break). Appropriate treatments were administered each time including 2 surgeries, one on each foot. No more problems. Each issue was independent of the other & occurred over a period of time of 2 – 3 years. Having high insteps and because of the other foot issues, I purchased the insoles recommended by the doctor & offered through his office. The pain I experienced completely subsided. (Others purchased in stores never helped.) Dr. Abigail has been most caring, gentle, & kind with each visit. My primary care doctor originally referred me only to find a number of friends who used him & were most pleased. I since have referred friends, & all continue to be most pleased. Dr. Abigail is knowledgeable & quick to administer the appropriate treatments. I’ve been completely satisfied with all aspects of his office and its staff. I wouldn’t go to any other doctor for foot problems.
